Finally shorts that do n't ride up with any sort of movement and they kept me cool and wicked sweat. The length is perfect in the sense they are not too long or too short. [ These are so comfortable- I just bought another pair! They 're a trim fit without feeling constricting and I have n't had any chafing issues, even when they 're totally wet. I like that they dry fast so I can rinse and repeat. The 2 pockets feel secure, too. I 've had my first pair for a year and they look new so I think these will last a long time.

[ This is the second time I have purchased these shorts. I finally wore out the first pair which I purchased 2 years ago. I know the shorts are designed for fishing and ocean- related stuff. Yes, I use them for everyday wear as well as for the sport I play which is Lawn Bowls. The side pocket is great for holding everything from my lip balm to my measure for bowls. The only thing I find that is not so good is the stitching along the bottom of front pockets had to be resewn as this just does n't seem to hold. Other than that This is a great pair of shorts.
