These are so comfy right out of the box. No break in needed. Took them for a 4 mile hike to collect Huckleberries on their first trip. Used my nice running shoes on a previous trip and my feet and knees hurt afterwards. With these I could go miles more with no issues.

[ Ok so first I ’ m a short girl so these are calf high so I love that! The lug sole is very thick and supportive. The inside is faux fur lined so not only is it waterproof, it ’s warm! The color is neutral and these fit true to size. If you wear thick socks, size up a half size. Otherwise your normal size will work. They have great traction so I don ’ t anticipate busting but butt in the snow. These are built to last so I ’ ll have them for all inclement weather for years.

[ I tried the Tivoli V Tall Women ’s Waterproof Boot from Sorel in the color quarry. I love the look of this boot! It ’s got style and function, which don ’ t always come together! The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. I normally wear 8. 5- 9 in a shoe and the 9s are a bit snug. I don ’ t think I ’ d be able to comfortably wear a thick, winter sock with them… so size up!! Overall, a great winter boot!

[ I am normally a size 6 but tried the 7 since that ’s what was available. I figured I am wearing heavier socks in the winter. The fit is good, even with thinner socks. There is room so it doesn ’ t feel too big or too small. All of that fur will definitely keep my feet warm in the winter. It hits about mid calf for me, which I like. They fit perfectly with skinny jeans, rolled up flannel lined jeans, my athleta jeggings, and there is no more comfortable boot I 've ever owned, and that list includes the Ugg Adirondack III. I do n't go trapsing through my wet backyard or deep snow in these, though I have shoveled my walkway in them( I live an hour north of NYC), but for fall or winter lunch dates, absolutely. Errands, always, and I throw them in the back of my car when I play tennis and slip into them after. I wear these around the house when it's cold like they 're slippers. My qualifications for boots this year were 1. waterproof, 2. comfortable, 3. stylish. I walk to work and needed something that could get me there and back, and something that I could wear the whole day. These did the trick! One note- the first time I wore them, my feet were dry but the backs of my calves were soaked! I was flicking up water when I walked. I tried slowing down, and the 2nd wear did not make my legs wet!
