The North Face Women's Sierra Mid boots were well made and stylish. I read other reviews that suggested going up a size. I usually wear a 9 or 9. 5 in winter boots, so I purchased sizes 9. 5 and 10. This boot is so unbelievably comfortable, but it does run large. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

These are the best winter boots I have ever owned. It's been an exceptionally cold and snowy winter and these boots are not only good looking, they check all the boxes. I bought these boots for a long weekend trip to Providence, RI and Boston, MA. I wore them with thick wool socks and logged more than 5 miles each day running around the sights. They weee comfortable and warm. The temps dropped to 19 degrees with strong winds and even rain and my feet were dry and warm the whole time. I am very easily cold and uncomfortable- even in my home state of SC! I am grateful for these boots so my weekend was not ruined by having cold feet!

My last boots had the sole meeting the upper right at the bottom edge& that is where it blew out. Hoping that these last a long time like my last pair with the higher rubber section. Bought these boots a month ago and just returned from a week in Paris and wore these everyday, all day. Average miles walked: 8. Very comfortable and warm. I have sensitive feet and was surprised the arch was supportive enough and that the heel area was narrow enough to keep heel in place. I brought my hiking shoes to wear and after three hours I took them off( heel and top of foot were hurting) and put on these boots. Enough structure to hold foot in place.

I have worn them to walk trails with my dog, run errands anything that I would wear my athletic shoes for. Quickly they have become my favorite pair of Sorel! I wear a 7. 5 shoe normally but always size up to 8 in Sorel. My heels are narrow and many shoes slip on my heel, these do not.

I found these while searching for a pair of long lasting waterproof snow proof winter boots. I have to say I ’ m very picky about boots, so when I got these, I was a little disappointed to see they didn ’ t have a side zipper, but that ’s my fault for not reading thoroughly. The description says leather and suede upper, but that ’s only the stripe, the actual majority of the boot is a soft canvas, which isn ’ t what I was looking for. I wasn ’ t a huge fan of the shape of them, as they seem to accentuate the widest point of my calf, but overall they ’ re very nice and they fit well when I tried them on. They are thick inside so they might feel tight with a thick sock, but they were immediately super warm so a thick sock doesn ’ t seem really necessary. I haven ’ t worn them in snow or water, so I can ’ t speak to that. I most likely will exchange these for a pair of Merrell tall lace Polar boots that I had wanted but were out of stock.
