I ’ m on my second Canadian winter with these. Very warm, very comfortable. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

Great boot, used it today for a good two hours in 20 degree fahrenheit weather and it worked great. My foot never got to warm and never got to cool, I would highly recommend this boot.

Great shoes. Got them a week ago for a work trip, and have been wearing a lot since. Super comfy. Not a painful breaking experience. They do get warm, on a plane I switched to some lighter shoes, but in Idaho in the 30s walking around and working in a warehouse they have been perfect. Not sure if I ’ d go hiking with these. I wear a 13 and ordered a 13 despite the recommendation to up size because i could n't find a 14. They fit fine for me. I wear them with the laces as loose as possible and put a knot outside the eyelet instead of tying them, and they feel very comfortable. I get compliments from women every time I wear them. I live in MN and wanted something waterproof, but still stylish. These boots are perfect for going out on the town in winter.
