I love that these shorts are high waisted as well, it gives me that nice snatched feeling and there is no issue with the waist band rolling when you move around. I am usually an XL in Nike bottoms and the XL size for these shorts fit perfectly. So far I have worn them for strength training, running, and walking indoors. The shorts might run a little small. I tend to wear the L pants but got the XL shorts and they work well for me. I like the internal liner, but still wear by boxer briefs with them. I really need to try them without the boxes and see how they work. The pockets are a good size, but anything in them will swing as you run or walk fast. the draw string come in handy to tie the shorts off and hold them up.
