I 've barely had this a month and it's already a favorite. If you see other review from me, you 'll get that I 'm obsessed with the TENCEL selections, this is no exception. I have no shortage of Carhartt jackets of varying weights. The cut of this is very flattering, these pants weight is perfect for spring and summer nights, or chilly days. It's still breathable, yet a nice layer to keep the chill off. I got black and thought I would regret it due to how other collect dog fur and random fuzz, but the smoothness of this fabric attracts less lint/hair and when it does get in there, it's far easier to brush off. The stiffness of other Carhartt jackets does not exist with this one, that stiffness serves its purpose, so just know that before buying. This is durable, but not as heavy duty it's perfect for general work and for going out. The flexibility is phenomenal and. I greatly appreciate that the sleeves allow for larger arms or layering without being balloons, I would n't be able to wear a sweater under it, but long sleeves and flannels fit perfectly without bunching. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park with this jacket from looks to fit to function. I 'm very tempted to grab the green as well and will watch for more colors.

I 'm 5' 7 '' 130 lbs and ordered a small, was n't sure how it would fit since I would normally go for a medium in jackets, but saw this was loose fit and have heard Carhartt run large. The sleeves of the small were good but I was absolutely drowning in the rest of it so got an extra small, and it was a much better fit! When I tried it on with a sweatshirt underneath, the sleeves of the extra small were a touch tight when bending my elbows, but I think it will break in just fine. Great jacket, hope this can help folks with sizing. Did n't have any trouble with the zipper the way other people have described, it's a big metal double zipper and takes a little effort but nothing crazy.

The bottom is a little wide, and the sleeves a little long, but the snap closure on the sleeves and the elastic around the bottom bring those things in fine. I see complaints on the width of the sleeves, I have larger biceps, and this isn ’ t an issue for me.

OR has continued to impress, this true to size( large) fit perfect with room for insulated layer. Light weight, soft fabric that keeps me dry. Limited pockets which is expected in a light weight jacket, it has your two hand pockets and two exterior access chest pocket for your phone, etc. Highly recommend this jacket. If you 're looking for a heavy duty rugged backcountry jacket this likely is n't for you.

I bought this with the intention of it being my main backcountry ski jacket, and not for rain so I ca n't comment on how well it is waterproof. But personally, it is somewhat of a heavy jacket for rainy warm weather. I loved it today in zero temps with a thin fleece hoody and wool shirt on underneath. I was a little concerned about how the stiff, tall collar would feel on my face, but it was great coverage and roomy enough so my neck gator fit underneath it just fine. I sized up in this jacket because I need to layer and went with XL which meant it was fairly long and covered my bum, but still surprisingly close fitting around the hips which is common for me in OR tops. It is a great weight for cold backcountry ski days, lighter than my older OR Skytour shell but heavier than the Motive. I am posting a photo. Love the color too. In the photo I also have on the insulated Snowcrew ski pants which were toasty on this bitter cold day!

[ I ’ m 5 ’ 2 ” with prominent mid- section so I ordered L based on the sizing guide. The fit and jacket length is perfect for me. However, the sleeves are quite long but 1 fold fixes the problem. It ’s of very soft, light weight material. The color is as beautifully pictured online. I find the flap over the pockets a bit inconviniencing but I think that ’s helpful to deter pickpocketing. As the material is soft& light weight, when I place my iphone 11 in it, you can see the weight of the phone pulling that side of the jacket down. I ’ ve used it in light rain already. It did what it ’s supposed to do. I think even in a heavy downpour, it won ’ t disappoint. I used the hood without needing to pull the strings& it sat on my head without a fight. This rain coat will be good for spring, fall, and Europe weather in November/December. Overall, I love this rain jacket. I fell in love with it at first sight& more after I tried it on.

I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. This jacket arrived several weeks ago and has been great for everything I 've thrown at it! It has kept me warm, dry, and cute on rainy commutes to work, mulching my garden, and taking my dog on a field trip to our local forest preserves. It has been comfortable in temps as low as 35 and as high as 65 or so for me, personally. I love how lightweight it is, and that is compacts down if it warms up during the day and I need to pack it away for my commute home. I ordered the small size and the fit/cut is great. Both body and arm length spot on. Elasticized wrists help keep it in place and get the draft out. Enough room for underlayer and not bulky or puffy. material is n't noisy either. I have enough black in my wardrobe so I got the dark green/olive and it goes with everything. Even though it's thinner, it provided enough insulation at 30- 40 deg weather. Great buy.
