[ This thing is great! It's got a little weight to it empty but still less than a traditional cooler and the straps make it way easier to carry. You can see in the photos I put a 12 pack in there and it does n't look like there's room for a second so skeptical of the 24 can capacity. It's well insulated so you probably do n't need much ice or any if your stuff is already cold. Plus it comes with a bottle opener attached to it which is super convenient. I would definitely consider this over a standard cooler next time I was looking to purchase

[ I did not receive the backpack cooler to review, but this smaller Core cooler instead. It is still an INCREDIBLE cooler. I used it( again) this past weekend for a music festival I attended. This is a really sturdy cooler. The insulation is SO GOOD and keeps things cold all day long. I really love the magnetic closure because it ’s easy to access your drinks/snacks, but keeps the cooler sealed really well. It comes with a padded shoulder carrying strap and a built in bottle opener. What more could you want? With lots of different styles to choose from, I really think the Core brand coolers are a “ one and done ” kind of purchase. This thing will last for years and years.

[ I love everything about this backpack cooler. Not only does it fit just the right amount of beverages I need and keeps them cold for up to 3 days, it is also very comfortable to carry. The waterproof zipper,( which is a little hard to use at first but they do provide a lubricant for it) keeps the cold air in. If you do n't want to use the zipper, the top lid seals magnetically and most of the time closes on its own. It has a front pocket for personal belongings. It has two side mesh pockets for extras, along with a built- in bottle opener. The back of it is padded as well as the straps. There is also a chest clip, adding extra security and comfort. I recently purchased the 35 hard cooler to use in my car when I day hike and fish. I just put it to the test on a float fishing trip where the outside air temperature reached 91 degrees. I intentionally left the cooler in my car with some food and drinks to test how well it would withstand the heat. The cooler has a small ice bag and one Yeti slim ice pack. When I returned from the fishing trip after having the cooler in my hot car for 10+ hours, the food and drinks were still cold. Along with outstanding performance, the cooler was a one man lift when completely loaded and it's compact enough to fit in a back seat of a car if needed. Definitely worth it!

Fantastic water source for camping. Kept water nice and cold for several days and provided an easy way to refill bottles and camelbaks with ice cold water for hikes. Keep in mind that 8 lbs of ice will take up 1 gallon of volume. If the water is room temperature when you put it in( like those 5 gallon containers you re- fill at the store) then you will need approximately 12 lbs of ice just to even get it cold( with all the ice now melted and none leftover). So I ’ d recommend pairing 24 lbs of ice with 3 gallons of room temperature water. That should leave you with roughly 4. 5 gallons of ice cold water and 12 lbs of ice to make sure it stays cold.

Welp, this is a great cooler, as advertised... and more. How do I know? I `` loaded ''( placed) the new cooler into a new boat( towards the stern, not the bow which would have been a better wind shield) and headed from Atlanta out to the South Carolina coast ready for a week on the beach and in the marsh. About an hour into the drive, while keeping a nervous eye on my new toys, I watched the unsecured cooler catch some some air underneath it and tumble out of the back of the boat and into I- 20... at 80mph. I hit hard, rolled, and bounced( think the crash scene from Rick Bobby) before a final slide on its side until coming to rest in between the two lanes of the highway. Used up a lot of luck on this one as no cars where hit in the initial fall and was successfully dodged once it came to a rest. After almost ruining my underwear, I was able to find a spot on the shoulder to pull over a 1/4 mile down the highway. After sprinting back down the shoulder and finding a gap in traffic, I was able to recover it and hike it back to the car. I have n't tested the cooler on a hungry bear, but I know it can handle hitting the pavement at high speeds and be functionally like new. Yes, it will have scars and scuffs on it, but it opens, closes, latches, and keeps the beer cold as if this never happened. Great cooler. Chances are you 'll never test your new cooler like I did; because you 'll tie it down. But, when you do make it a mistake, this cooler is ready for it. Thank you Yeti, I have been, and will continue to be, a fan of the durability of your products.

Example is the back of a Honda Odyssey…yes, I ’ m a dad with kids and dogs and one day I ’ ll have a rad car again, but until then I ’ ll settle on having a rad Yeti. The Igloo ICF 32 its a fair- sized option for a smaller vehicle. I 've had it for about a month and one trip. It has so far held well and worked in both the vehicle as well as indoor. The compressor noise is quite low but is there. The one option that would be useful is a wheel that would allow one person to move the cooler easily. I have used this cooler a few times now. It seems sturdy, and has kept ice well. Good for a budget cooler. I would n't give it 5 stars because the lid seems to be lacking insulation. However, it does n't seem to hurt it's performance very much.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! I will be using the cooler on all my hunting trips in the future!

I was looking for a small cooler for little day trips and things and of course the sticker shock of the yetis was enough to make your head spin.$ 200 and they are n't even made stateside. Took a stroll down the igloo aisle because it was more of my budget and was surprised to see that they were actually made in USA! The cooler itself is great, it's small and easy to bring with you, but big enough that you can still load a decent amount of stuff in it and whether you use ice or the igloo freezer blocks, it does a great job of keeping things cold for a reasonable amount of time. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend this cooler for small day trips or if you need a lunch box. If you are like a construction worker or a truck driver or something it's perfect for that sort of thing.
