I am a walker, not runner but found I needed more squish and support while walking around the uneven and rough surfaces in my town. The sidewalks here are not great and non- existent in many areas so I ’ m on the road for much of my walk. These shoes give me the right amount of support, and my feet and legs feel happy during and after my walk. I also love the color. As a woman who needs a double wide shoe it ’s hard to find much besides black and grey, and that ’s just not for me. The Matcha/Celadon combo is bright and cheerful. I love the feel and fit of the Ariel GTS 24. My first pair was a pretty teal blue and I liked that it had color but was n't too wild because I like to wear them for everyday use as well as exercise walking and some running. They do n't look clunky and do n't make my feet look big. I decided to get a real neutral shade next so I got a greyish beige style. Most recently I got the Mercury/ebony/sweet lavender and this is my favorite color so far. Very neutral overall but the lavender part adds a lot of style. They are a very supportive, stable shoe which is important to me as I am in my 70s and need that. The only negative is that this most recent shoe did not have the same type of shoelaces as the first two pairs. Those laces stay tied even when you do n't double- knot them. The laces on the newest pair are flatter instead of round and I always worry they will come untied if I do n't double knot.

[ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go- to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog. I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks- leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk. Because the Gore- Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them. The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly. There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore). As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail. I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear. Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes.

These are very comfortable. It does feel like you are walking on air. There is n't any harsh shock to the foot when moving in these shoes. The toe box on the men's shoe is better fitting than the women's shoe. This is narrower and fits me much better. Nothing rubs at the arch. I recommend these. The waterproof Gore- Tex is great to keep one's socks and feet totally dry. The only thing I do n't like is the looks of the trim they put on the Pegasus 41 around the toe box. Yet, it does n't affect the shoe itself.

Goo pair of she ’s. I am a beginner level runner. In these, I did a 5k and a 10k run so far. They are light and the cushion is better than my peg 39 shield pair. Not tried in the winter rain yet, will see that parth in warmer days. They are warm to feel in the cold weather. The soles are same as my peg 39 shield and storm tread sole is excellent for grip in wet or smooth surfaces, but the price is, it ’s impossible to clean once you got mud in. I had to go straight in garden and rinse it off, use a brush to remove the mud before it sets. I bought them on sale which seems OK price but would not pay full price. Buy at least half a size up, as they run a little small. Nike have never got the sizes right or consistent.

Bought a few months ago—used to train in ghosts and those were a bit too neutral, but didn ’ t want something too bouncy either. These are the perfect in between( and are actually cute—rare in a more neutral shoe). I am a distance runner—half ’s usually, but have done a full marathon too. These are so great! Very stable. Sized up a half size( usually do in runners) and they fit great. Would recommend.

The Ride is one of my favourite go to shoe from Saucony. It is a true runners' shoe in the sense that it is the total package; cushioning, flexibility, and responsiveness with a touch of inherent stability. The updates of the Ride see it getting lighter, with improved cushioning and fit. I recently did a 50k rail trail race and they held up well; my legs were n't as beat up as they usually are after a long race. It is a great shoe for just about any type of run including hard tempo efforts and Marathon paced efforts. If you didnt want to spend cash on a plated trainer, then this could be a single quiver shoe for the conscientious consumer. My only concern is that the rubber on the outsole is beginning to wear quickly. Although it is likely an aesthetic issue, it is something worth pointing out. Overall, I believe the shoes will last a long time due to the amount of overall cushioning and I will continue to pile up the miles on my new Rides.

[ The only complaint I have is with the tongue of the shoe. It has a piece of elastic connected to one side of the shoe. It pulls the tongue to that side. I ’ m thinking about cutting the elastic so the tongue will stay straight in the shoe. I ’ m not a runner I bought them for their great fit, and durability.

I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

I bought these over 6 months ago and have allowed time for reasonable use before reviewing. I can now comfortably say that I am delighted with these, as they are not only at least as comfortable, if not more so, than previous versions but they are now much more durable, both in terms of the upper sealing/coating and the goretex waterproofing- both showing no signs of wear at all. Overall very happy with them.
