I ended up returning and buying someplace else because, while promoting that they match prices, Dick's refused to price match. I bought this mat to protect the carpet from my extremely heavy and lengthy Sole treadmill. I 've only had it for about a week but so far so good! It's thick and heavy. I have no doubt it will hold up for years to come. I 've read previous reviews on the odor( vinyl odor) of the mat but honestly, I was expecting worse, it's not bad at all and is gone within a few days. I 'm very happy about this purchase.
