[ I got these in a size 7 in women ’s for 1 of 2 people that I knew could give me an honest opinion on them. It happened to be my mother who I gifted them to that works in a plant on her feet 8- 10 hours a day. As soon as she opened the box she absolutely loved the colorway she got as it can match multiple things as well as the style/look of the shoe. Once she got the shoe on foot she walked around the house and said she felt more bounce and spring in her step wearing them. She wore them to work the next day and when she came home she talked about how much her feet and back felt better after wearing them and all the compliments she got on them from co- workers who said they would be looking to get a pair as well. If momma is happy than I am too so I would give these a 20 out of 10 and recommend them to anyone that is doing any activity on your feet whether it ’s working on hard concrete floors like her or if you ’ re a runner, jogger, walker.

[ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

Because of this active lifestyle I need a shoe that is comfortable and supportive. The comfort this shoe provides gives me just that. The Ariel GTS 26 feel like you are walking/bouncing on air. The Ariel GTS 26 minimize the impact of my foot when hitting the floor, which for me has helped my feet and knees. I have noticed the difference at the end of the day because my feet don ’ t hurt or feel sore. I do think the shoe itself runs a little small in terms of the length so I would probably size up a half size if I ran outside in them. I wear these shoes everyday for about 80% of the day and can ’ t imagine wearing any other shoe. They are not only comfortable but also stylish. The gray color is a great shade that pairs well with the pink. They are easy to take on and off and the traction on them are great specifically when walking down hill. The toe box on the front of the shoe helps your foot stay in place without letting your foot slide forward while also giving you a good grip to the floor when walking and running on uneven ground. Overall I would give the Ariel GTS 26 a 10 out of 10 because they have improved my everyday needs.

[ I ’ ve worn the Ariel GTS 26 shoes for about a week now, and they felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. I took my dogs for a long walk and kept waiting for that usual “ new shoe ” feeling, but it never happened. No blisters or tightness. They felt broken in from the start. As a runner, the nitrogen- infused cushioning feels soft enough to make pavement miles easier, but not so soft that I feel unsteady. The fit has been really easy. There ’s enough room in the toe box, but the shoe still feels secure and doesn ’ t slip around. Even after a couple of three mile runs, my legs felt good, which isn ’ t always the case. I ’ ve worn the shoes on sidewalks and through wet grass and feel like they have really good traction. Also, the heel pull tab is one of those little things I didn ’ t think much about at first, but I ’ ve ended up using it a lot, especially when I ’ m rushing out the door. What ’s been nice is that they don ’ t just feel good, they actually look good too. A couple of my friends have already commented on how cute they are. I ’ ve worn them with workout clothes, jeans, and leggings, and they literally go with everything. I like that I can go for my runs in the morning and just keep them on the rest of the day. I ’ m already planning to bring them on an upcoming vacation to a theme park because I know I ’ ll be walking all day, and these shoes are going to be perfect for that. The enhanced DNA cushioning is absolutely remarkable. It feels like you 're gliding on supportive clouds with every stride. It has the perfect balance of softness and protection for my feet. The GuideRails support technology is a game- changer for my joints. During my long runs, other shoes would make my feet hurt, and my knees and lower back would throb and ache. This tech gently guides my foot through its natural motion, reducing excess movement that causes strain. My body was n't screaming in pain after running in these shoes. The RoadTack rubber outsole really grips the pavement. I went on a run and it started to rain lightly. The traction is amazing, and I felt secure with every stride. Now I do n't have to worry about slipping and falling. The engineered mesh helps your feet breathe. Some shoes make my feet sweat, but my feet felt comfortable and had a snug fit that never felt restrictive or made my feet sweat. The broad base and 10mm drop really helped to reduce pressure on my heel and calf, especially when I wore the shoes all day at work and later on when I went on my run or walk. I sometimes have issues with my feet and legs cramping after a run, but I did n't experience any cramps after wearing these shoes. I 'm looking forward to buying this shoe in other colors. Brooks has definitely created a supportive shoe that performs way better than some of the other shoes I wear.

I recently went shopping for a new pair, because mine are almost 2 years old( I know, it ’s beyond time to upgrade). Brooks, can we get some better color options?? A nice white on white would be perfect! I ended up going with some Ariel GTS 24 ’s with a more neutral colorway, but I would ’ ve loved to get the 26 ’s in all white or even a neutral that doesn ’ t have purple on it.

[ I have been running in Brooks Ariels for almost 20 years. I pronate and have had plantar fasciitis several times from not wearing appropriately supportive shoes. These are the only shoes I have used that work. They 're not the floatiest of shoes, but that's a fair trade off to avoid injury.

I 've been wearing Adrenaline shoes for years, because I thought that was the maximum support I could get in a Brooks shoe. I have very flat feet, and also tend to over- pronate as I walk. Make no mistake, the Adrenaline is great, but for me personally, the Ariel is even better. I could feel the difference in the wider base, extra support, and increased stability as soon as I put the Ariel on. these really do help me feel more stable as I stand, walk, and run, while still offering a great combination of secure fit that does n't pinch. I do notice that these are just a little heavier than the Adrenaline, but that's okay. That tiny bit of heaviness is a small price to pay for the increased stability and support. If you love Adrenaline shoes but need that bit of extra support,( especially if you have flat feet and/or over- pronate), I very highly recommend these!

[ I love this shoe. It's good cushion with great stability. More stable than the Adrenaline GTS 25. And, my feet are not sore after walking long distances, as with the Adrenakine GTS 22. The only fault is when I 'm seated, it feels a bit stiff round the ankle; it can use more cushion there. But, other than that, these shoes are excellent and look good on my feet.:-)

Most running shoes have a high heel drop or a lower heal drop and too much cushion and that is not ideal for someone with a high arch and shin splints. These are the best Paradigms yet. I have no back pain wearing these shoes and they feel amazing! Like previous Paradigms you will need to size up a 1/2 size. Ryka shoes are my new favorites. My first Ryka purchase was a pair of Echo Knit Slip- on Sneakers and they fit like they were made specifically for my feet. Same thing with these LX Walking Sneakers. They hug the feet with no rubbing in any unwanted spots. They are lightweight, very cushioned and have excellent arch support. I have a long narrow foot and have a difficult time finding walking/running shoes that are narrow enough for my feet but Ryka, medium width are narrower than other brands I 've tried. I 'd recommend you order the wide width if you typically wear medium width in other brands. I 'd also recommend sizing up ½ size if these will be used for walking/running. I mistakenly ordered the same size as the Echo Knit Slip- ons I had- 8. 5 medium- but for running I should have ordered a half size larger. It's too late to return them because I 've already worn them outside for a run, but they are great for just wearing around. I guess I 'll need to order a 3rd pair of my new favorite shoes!!

[ I ’ ve been running on these shoes for about a week and they have been great. I usually wear a size 8, and size up to 8. 5 for running shoes. For these, I may have been ok with an 8. They do not feel tight on my feet and I can see myself running and using them for more casual walking. They feel very breathable and have plenty of cushion. The traction is great for my running needs and I ’ ve had no difficulty transitioning from trail to gravel and back. I do mainly run on sidewalks and so far they are a great shoe for that. I ’ m not usually a Brooks Ghost shoe wearer but I may be ready to make the switch for good.

I love these shoes! I had two pairs of the 5s. The rubber did come off on the bottom the first week but I superglued it back on. I hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc in these babies and they did great! Love the extra cushioning and durability. Will definitely buy them again for my next long hike. The extra cushioning prevented any foot pain. I 'd say they lasted a whole summer of maybe 200 miles of hiking!

The Olympus 6 is so comfortable and actually feels like a true Altra wide toebox shoe. I 've been wearing them everyday since I got them 2 weeks ago and I have n't had any issues. Plus the colors are great! The pictures do n't do justice. Best Olympus yet.

[ I have been using the Altra Olympus 6 for hiking, running, and fastpacking. This is my first time trying a full- cushion trail shoe, but I have been road running in the Altra Torin for about 6 years. After about 25 miles of mixed terrain, weather and landscapes, I feel this shoe excels in climbing and tackling dry, loose terrain. I felt stable and powerful sprinting up sandy hillsides and dusty singletrack. The shoe absorbs the impact of large gravel, and bites into turns well. I slid around a bit on large wet roots and slick rocks under the stiff midfoot but recovered quickly and happily traded that for the protection from sharp obstacles. The high stack kept my feet dry when encountering mud and puddles, while the well ventilated upper kept me comfortable on long, hot days. The contoured form around the Achilles took a little getting used to, but it worked to lock my heel on ascents; no hot spots. Laces stay tied. Altra gave me this free product to try, and I 'm looking forward to putting many more miles on it.

[ Hi! This is a review from a trail runner who prefers ground feel and minimal stack height! I 've also completed several trail ultras and marathons( trail and road) in minimal footwear. I wanted to see how this particular max cushion, high stack zero drop shoe would perform and provide comfort given an injured left heal. I have also worked in run specialty shops. I was so happy to be selected to test the Altra Olympus 6 with my particular preferences. I gave this model 5- Stars because I would and will absolutely continue to rotate this model on training runs. Especially on buffed trails, for hill repeats, hikes and any time I 'm feeling like I want a bit more cushion than I prefer. I would recommend this model over other high stack, max cushion models/brands bc of its responsiveness. Sizing and On Foot Feel: I requested a size 8. I am still torn if I would have felt even more secure and comfortable in a 7. 5. Regardless of that, I love how they feel around the midfoot, feel secure. I just would like to get them a little more snug around the midfoot, hence why I think a 7. 5 would have been perfect. Of course, I love the ample toe box space, so my toes can fully splay, but at the same time not getting smashed into the front of the shoe when going downhill. I should also mention the heel feels pretty secure as well, not too tight, but not loose, either. Under Foot Feel and Performance: This shoe is responsive and not over the top bulky. The cushioning is comfortable without being too `` squishy ''. I think that, not too squishy feel, helps reduce the perception of being on such a thick stack. Which I was concerned about b/c I though I 'd feel `` wobbly '' or have a sensation of slipping off the foot- bed. I did n't get that sensation, and that was a big positive! Activities I Tested the Olympus with: Walks with the dog, hikes, runs, hill repeats, and even a morning of race timing. Surface tested on; Trails that transition quickly between buffed and bEAST Coasty( rocks, roots, boulders). Hill repeats on a look out access road; transitions between asphalt and crushed stone surfaces. What I Enjoyed Most: I LOVED the performance of the shoes during hill repeats; security around mid- foot and the cushion for the downhill abuse on the soles of the feet. I will keep using them on those days. As well as for longer trail run days at a local nature preserve surrounded by miles and miles trails of every kind of surface.( ALTRA gave me this free product to try.)

I just got my first pair a few days ago. As soon as they came I put them on. My feet were singing, Heaven, I 'm in heaven! I 'm on my feet all day. Walking on concrete floors. I saw a friend wearing this shoe and I loved the look. Based on her glowing review I decided to give the Intrigue and the Wilson brand a go. Now that I have had these for a couple of weeks( playing 2- 3 times a week) I can not say enough good about them. Sometimes I think light means not very supportive, the other brand that I wear and like feels a little block like, not so with the Intrigue.
