I have been watching this Marucci pitching machine for a couple of weeks and searching everywhere for a review with no luck. Today I spoke with a very nice lady at my local DSG and asked about the return policy. I was afraid that like many other products, this would advertise 60 mph and actually do 25… she told me 90 days, just to make sure I saved all the packaging. I got it home tested it immediately with real baseballs and was my target at 46 feet consistently for the most part. I switched to dimple balls and grabbed the pocket radar and I was constantly hitting 54/55 mph at 46 ft on target. I was using a 9 hole target and 18/18 balls hit a pocket!

We bough this machine a few years ago for my son when he was in little league. It helped him greatly with his swing. Since I have a bad elbow that prevents me from throwing accurately& could n't help him practice, we were able to use this for not only his hitting practice, but you can easily adjust it& use it for fielding pop- ups& grounders as well.( Great for pop- ups!) I used to film his swings& we could see it together& work on his mechanics. It tends to bog down a little in speed after a few dozen balls go through it but just give it more time# an extra couple of seconds) between balls. My only real complaint is that we went to use it after a few seasons& the motor quit working. At the time Dick's was n't carrying them in their stores anymore or I would have replaced it with another. Instead we bought another brand that is no way near as accurate or consistent as this machine was. I think that's what I liked the most about this machine. You could get it set up& it would be real consistent. Find the strike zone& you were good!

These balls are nice quality. They are solid with a slight squishy feeling. When used in the heater pitching machine they come out slower because of their weight. If they get wet or damp they are even slower through the machine. My not have enough velocity to make it farther than 10 feet when wet.( wet because the grass is damp) When dry they can go far enough to simulate a pitcher. Not perfectly but enough for back yard practice.

Heater over delivered on the Heater Pro Curveball Pitching Machine, it's the single best single wheel real baseball pitching machine I have ever seen. This is exactly what it says it is. Perfect pitching machine for the smaller golf ball sized balls. My son and I hit wiffle golf balls before every game to get hes eyes on the ball. This machine is perfect for that, indoor or out door. I live in the Cleveland area so its pretty windy and this pitches through it no problem. I enjoy hitting off it as well. The balls have a true flight to them also, you can really hit them far. As accuracy goes its really like any other pitching machine you have to dial it in and it will occasionally throw some bad ones. Which I think is fine, you dont get perfect pitches when you step in the box.

Not one to write reviews, but I have to say that this product is solid. I am an assistant coach for coach pitch league for 7- 8 year olds. My head coach was out of town for the week and I am a terrible pitcher. Not to mention our kids were weak at bat. Luckily our fields are equipped with outlets. I had just previously bought and returned a red plastic pitching machine from another manufacturer that lacked accuracy so bad it actually hit my own kids several times so they did n't even want to use it. I was pretty skeptical, but hoping that this unit being more heavy duty would work. And after our first practice of 15 boys getting 25 pitches a piece the machine worked great. The only thing to watch out for is using balls with inconsistent size. If you are like me, you may not know that baseballs from different manufactures are not consistent in size. So a couple of boys had to take cover when a we used a couple of stray balls, but if we stayed with the same bucket than the pitches were always perfect strikes.

This thing is robust! A good amount wider than home plate but with the 9 zones and adjustable height it ’s good for pitching practice as well as being used for a backstop target for batting practice. We have a single wheel Jugs machine and an old 2 wheel Curve Master machine. We had been using older practice balls and could n't get control of the break on the curve machine, and both machines would tear up buckets of practice balls. These dimple balls stay consistent off the machine, and the players are more comfortable in the box. The ball sounds right off the bat, I just do n't let them use composite bats and prefer they use practice bats. Have n't used them long enough to know how they affect bats. Will order another 2 dozen.

This product is great for the price! I purchase this to use with my kids and for a softball team that I help coach. It took a little bit to get used to adjustment but adjusted to the position we wanted. It ’s pretty good about throwing pitches. We have been borrowing the much more expensive blue, pitching machines and it seems to keep up with The other machines. For the price, I would definitely buy this product.

Bought this machine for my 16 year old son. It arrived fairly quickly and I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. Took me and my son about 15 minutes. Once it was set up my son mentioned how sweet looking it is, very nice design. Started pitching to my son and could n't believe how accurate it was. We set up at a ball field at 60 feet and it was in the strike zone every time. Speed was nice too, had to keep it on speed 8 because any faster was too fast for my son. Overall, very happy with the machine. Did some pop flies and grounders for fielding practice and was again blown away at how easy it was to use. Definitely recommend this to anyone, and would n't need to spend money on more expensive machines.

Recently purchased this machine for my 14 year old son. As I set it up I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble and how nice it looked. After tuning everything in, I pitched a few balls through the machine and was amazed at how accurate and fast it was. It's built very durable and my son absolutely loves it. I also ca n't complain about the price. I saw a few other machines with similar specs that were nearly twice the amount of money.

We bought this machine last year. It works great. We did have some issues with the feeder and had an inner tube go flat. You call the manufacturer and they actually answer the phone with great customer service. The lady I spoke to about the inner tube sent us replacements the same week. The feeder problem the gentleman I spoke to knew exactly what the issue was and waited on the phone until I made the adjustments. They REALLY stand behind their product

Its a good machine at throwing up to 65, i do n't think we can get it to pitch 75 at 60 feet using regular baseballs. It works well for a 14u team. We move it to 55 feet and the speed is good enough for the 14u team.
