That was a few months ago, and it has held up great with( fairly light) use on both asphalt and smoother concrete settings. This is a nice looking portable hoop with a sturdy build. The acrylic backboard has decent response. Although, it's not as nice as glass but definitely better than the polycarbonate material. Overall, I ca n't complain for the price I paid. I 'm happy with this purchase except for the times when I imagine what `` The Beast '' would 've been like instead.

Assembly was definitely not 90 minutes but family enjoyed putting this together as we all participated in it. Agree with another review that it is heavy once filled up and the fact the instructions pointed that out in the beginning. Would highly advise to have it where it will be used before you fill it up! It is heavy and difficult to move so I would n't try by yourself! We added a weather proof bag with another 100 pounds of sand to keep on top and it survived 60mph winds that came through where we live. I will say, I keep it lowered to 8 feet when it was windy and it kept it lower to the ground vs extended to 10 feet. Crank is easy to work and markings on pole are easy to read. Would buy again!

I am a coach for a U9( Ages 7- 8) team at a local YMCA. I have been coaching for three years and purchased the ball for six of my team members. They all loved them ball. My center, a first time player, from the moment he placed his hands on the hand placements was hitting shot after shot, with better technique and accuracy.
