I bought this paddle because I heard it had great pop. It does n't disappoint. Its comfortable and light but its loud due to the Nomex core. If you play with neighbors near the courts beware. Also, it came packed in a bag, not a box. I do n't think they would do that with a graphite tennis racket or golf club..

I am going to upgrade to one of the Selkirk fiberglass paddles because of recent tennis elbow issues and I would like more control/power. Good quality though for beginner/intermediate players.

I am a beginner( 5 months) on Pickleball and always had crappy paddles. I decided to go big with the Head Extreme Tour without knowing how it would be compared to the crappy ones I had. I really like the feel of the grip. I have a bit more control but not a lot of power, compared to the crappy ones. Sometimes I switch paddles between the Head and the crappy ones, but that lasts for 3 or 4 shots and I come back to the Head paddle.
