Its a good running shoes and short 40 yard dash runs, probably not a perfect one for long distance like half or full marathons. Shoe laces are secured tightly to the shoes, they do n't come off easy once its tied right. The only negative thing is that the bottom of the shoes can add a rubber type material for stability when its on wet floor.

[ I got these in a size 7 in women ’s for 1 of 2 people that I knew could give me an honest opinion on them. It happened to be my mother who I gifted them to that works in a plant on her feet 8- 10 hours a day. As soon as she opened the box she absolutely loved the colorway she got as it can match multiple things as well as the style/look of the shoe. Once she got the shoe on foot she walked around the house and said she felt more bounce and spring in her step wearing them. [ Straight out of the box, the Nike Structure 26 has that wow factor. While its fun bright color is aesthetically pleasing and exciting to wear, it also helps during low light visibility conditions due to its Hyper Pink color and reflective areas on its sides. I am currently wearing it for daily activities, walks, hikes with my family and occasional runs. The underfoot has just the right amount of sink- in softness and rebounds smoothly. It is plush, stable, supportive, offers cushioning and is particularly comfortable. For this reason, I used it on recovery days as the breaking- in phase. The tongue and color have lots of padding which I am not used to but I consider them a plus. The mesh fabric is breathable and of very high quality. The fit is just right, true to size, snug enough to feel supportive and is becoming more comfortable with every use. I found the Nike Structure 26 to be more comfortable and natural than other running shoes that I own. Unfortunately, the outsole rubber in the Structure 26 is already showing some wear although it has good traction. The tongue could be a bit slimmer, but I 'm being nitpicky here. All in all, I love it and I got many compliments about its aesthetics. It's true to size, comfortable and has extra support and stability.

Post 4- mile run. You can tell these shoes are ment for distance, long runs, 6+ miles. A friend ran a marathon in them and the consistency of comfort stayed the whole race. I just bought a pair for a half marathon coming up. They are not built for speed or a ton of action. They do have some action and forward propulsion but the shine in stability got longer than normal runs. Maybe go 0. 5 size up, they are slightly more snug than the Nova Blast 4s. just barely though. Overall 9/10 for what they are meant for.

I will start this out by saying I 'm more of a recreational runner and not a race runner but this shoe is much improved over the previous Max 2. While I loved the previous version I always felt it needed a bit more cushion to be considered a `` max '' shoe. This version definitely holds up to the name. Super fast while remaining very bouncy. [ I ’ ve been running on these shoes for about a week and they have been great. I usually wear a size 8, and size up to 8. 5 for running shoes. For these, I may have been ok with an 8. They do not feel tight on my feet and I can see myself running and using them for more casual walking. They feel very breathable and have plenty of cushion. The traction is great for my running needs and I ’ ve had no difficulty transitioning from trail to gravel and back. I do mainly run on sidewalks and so far they are a great shoe for that. I ’ m not usually a Brooks Ghost shoe wearer but I may be ready to make the switch for good.

[ I ’ ve put about 50 miles on my Brooks Ghost Trail shoes so far, and they ’ ve quickly become my go- to for just about any run. What stands out most is how easily they transition between surfaces — I can start on the road, hit a few miles of dirt or gravel, and head back to pavement without ever feeling like I ’ m in the wrong shoe. They ’ re comfortable, stable, and handle everything really smoothly. The cushioning feels exactly like what you ’ d expect from the Ghost line — soft and balanced with that nice, smooth ride. On longer runs, they stay comfortable and keep my legs feeling good even after a mix of terrain. Traction has been great on gravel, packed dirt, and light trails. They ’ re not meant for super technical or muddy trails, but for everyday trail running or mixed routes, they grip well and feel stable. After 50 miles, the outsole still looks solid and the upper hasn ’ t shown any signs of wear, so durability seems good so far. Fit is consistent with other Ghost models. I went with my usual size, and they fit perfectly — secure in the heel, roomy in the toe box, and breathable enough for warm runs. [ I 've been looking for a good alternative to multisurface running trail shoes and these hit the mark! They transition great from trail to road and back again. I was skeptical of the large heel padding at first, but it does n't catch on rocks or roots and makes for an easy and comfortable run even on rough terrain. And while they grip great on mud and slippery rocks, it does n't feel like running in golf shoes while on the roads. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by these and have been wearing them every other day of running. They are also comfortable for house wear or yard work if you 're not into trail or ultrarunning.

I love the support this shoe provides. The support feels flexible but sturdy and well cushioned. It provides great impact absorption. I can feel the plush cushion with every step. The shoe is well designed for comfort and breathability especially the larger toe box, which provides a roomier feel. The mesh fabric is highly breathable. My feet stayed cool and dry throughout my workouts. The light and airy fabric adds to the comfort. Another well designed part of the shoe is the traction. I feel sturdy walking on cobblestones, streets and sidewalks and concrete pavement with the solid grip this shoe provides. The standout for me, and what I love most about this pair of sneakers, is the comfort level delivered by the impact- absorbing cushion. It just feels so comfortable! The fit is true to size. I wear a 6. 5 and it fits me perfectly. There is only one minor change I would make and that is add a loop at the back of the sneaker to help slip the foot in.

They ’ re true to size and I have a wide foot so typically I would choose a wide but these seem to have a wider toe box and I honestly feel zero discomfort wearing these. I ’ ve already dropped taco meat on them while cooking and after a quick cleaning you can ’ t even tell and as a busy mom of 6, that ’s important to me! I ’ ve been using these for my daily walks/runs and noticed that I haven ’ t been kicking them off the moment I walk in the door compared to my other sneakers. I continue wearing them throughout the day without thinking twice about what ’s on my feet and that really says something for me. I used to choose my shoes mainly based on style and not comfort but with these shoes I don ’ t have to sacrifice either of those things. It ’s hard to choose what I like most about these but one of my many favorite features would have to be the fact that these have GORE- TEX because why wouldn ’ t I want to keep my feet dry and comfy?! I also wouldn ’ t necessarily change anything about them but I will say this… I have a very high arched foot so maybe offering a more form fitting insole could be an option in the future. I truly can ’ t wait to wear these for many more days to come and I plan to convince my husband to get himself a pair as well!
