I migrated from Vokey wedges to the black T- 1 wedges back in April. I have enjoyed the experience and the wedges, in my opinion, are the best looking wedges on the market. I purchased Mizuno irons at the same time and had the same shafts put in everything( Mitsubishi MMT). Size- wise, I find the head smaller than that of a Vokey wedge and they are probably less forgiving. However, I think there is better feel to shots, which I suppose is due to forging or just being forced to hit the middle of the club face more because of the size of the wedge itself. I do n't find full wedge shots to fly as far as a Vokey wedge, which is an observation and not a complaint. It is rare occurrence in which I am taking a full swing with a wedge. Spin is certainly on par with Vokey, and I find myself controlling shots better than I did previously. Final note, the black finish( or the blue) is not permanent and there has been wearing of the finish on the sole of the club after time.

Nice clean look at address, copper/blue/satin color choices, and classic head design. I had the previous generation of CB wedges and went to the Opus when they came out. Although a decent club they weren ’ t a good fit for me. When I saw these released I knew what I had to do. I needed to redo the lofts in my bag anyway so decided to pull the trigger and get the CB12s. So happy I did. The are so much more forgiving than the Opus. Yes, it is still possible to hit a bad shot, but I feel like it happens so rarely now due to the grind and forgiveness of the face. I would highly recommend these if you aren ’ t the best wedge player.

This may be my favorite club in my bag. I have played with Ping clubs for 30 years, and this iron looks great in my bag. Perfectly balanced and it will give you great consistency around the greens. It helped me save 5 pars today on a 9- hole course. You can also hit full shots with this club as well. I hit it 135 yards to a highly elevated green 12 ’ from the hole. Ping should have named this club the i- wedge as it is so much more than a chipper.

Got a full wedge fitting with a Titleist rep and bought the 50 degree that I was fit to. The customizing options are great. So many to choose from. Only been able to hit this on the range so far but it is amazing. It's a solid wedge that has the feel that you can trust it to do what it was designed to do. Having a 12 degree bounce adds a little forgiveness for less chunky shots. I got a lighter shaft so I can get handsy with it when I need to. Even on toe shots I 'm still getting 10k spin and consistent carry distance. Ca n't wait to get this on the course!

I just bought this wedge( 56 degree, 12 bounce, black) as my sand wedge. Took me about 5- 10 min to figure out and then I started sticking shots to 5 ft from 45 yards( off grass, still figuring out the sand). Needless to say, I am very happy. Might have to get the 60 degree as well. Also, the grip at the store feels slick due to a powdery coating, but as soon as you wipe it down the grip is really good. Now confident I can bring my handicap down as my short game has improved immediately. Absolute butter wedge, would recommend.

I bought this a couple of months and so far so good. The bottom line for me is that it looks good when I place it behind the ball and the strike feels solid. My only complaint with some of the game improvement clubs I 've been using for wedge play recently is they almost feel too bulky and this has a good blend of forgiveness but looks more like a traditional blade iron.
