My family and I have been using the Takeya Actives water bottels for many years. We 've tried other brands( Hydroflask, Thermoflask, Stanley, RTIC) in between, that do n't come close to the quality and durability because of the price, but ultimatley we keep coming back to Takeya. My kids went from the 18oz to the 24oz to the 32oz now that they are in middle school. My husband uses the 32oz and I am using the 40oz bottle daily. My kids are rough on thier bottles, once by using it to try to get a ball that was stuck in a tree down by throwing the bottle up into the tree several times and letting it fall to the ground!! It was dented after that, but despite the abuse, the water stayed cold and it did n't leak at all for the 2- 3 weeks it took me to get around to getting the replacement bottle. We love the spout lid! It's simple to use and easy to clean! I order replacement gaskets to keep on hand in case they begin to mold, which has happened twice in all of the years we 've used them.

I had purchased one of the limited editions a few years back for the Parks for All partnership I got the Hawaiian Volcanoes 32 oz flask and was super satisfied. I began looking around for a new canteen for my new job that will be outdoors in the Texas elements. I decided to come back for another Hydro Flask for work and got one of the larger canteens the 64 oz in black with the flex straw. I have already been using it for a few months and I am satisfied again with Hydro Flask. For a 64oz it's very light weight, i personally noticed it kept my iced water colder a little longer than 24 hours, and durable I have accidentally dropped it, banged it and scuffed it and its still holding up. I also enjoy the fact the products are very easy to dissemble and clean. BTW I totally recommend at max a weekly cleaning and not just for Hydro Flask but for any other product to prevent build up of gunk and mildew. But overall the canteen is a great buy, and now that summer is around the corner I am excited to have a container filled with water for my work day. Hydrate Hydrate HYDRATE!!!!! lol.

I got this one because I am worry having the parts that I put my mouth on exposed to the outside environment. I considered the quencher flip straw, but the top of the straw is still exposed when folded down. I also worry about mold gathering in the crevices. This one was a no brainer for me, especially because you can put hot or cold drinks in this one. it's also easy to wash! I definitely recommend this one.

I had purchased one of the limited editions a few years back for the Parks for All partnership I got the Hawaiian Volcanoes 32 oz flask and was super satisfied. I began looking around for a new canteen for my new job that will be outdoors in the Texas elements. I decided to come back for another Hydro Flask for work and got one of the larger canteens the 64 oz in black with the flex straw. I have already been using it for a few months and I am satisfied again with Hydro Flask. For a 64oz it's very light weight, i personally noticed it kept my iced water colder a little longer than 24 hours, and durable I have accidentally dropped it, banged it and scuffed it and its still holding up. I also enjoy the fact the products are very easy to dissemble and clean. BTW I totally recommend at max a weekly cleaning and not just for Hydro Flask but for any other product to prevent build up of gunk and mildew. I 'm starting to think it ’s siphoning power from the sun just to spite thermodynamics. Design- wise, it ’s slick, minimalist, and screams “ I hike recreationally, but also emotionally. ” The lid is a screw- on chug cap, which is great if you like pretending you ’ re fueling up for a UFC fight every time you take a sip. Downsides? Only one: It ’s so loyal and indestructible that it ’s basically become part of my family. I bring it everywhere. I talk to it. I 'm 87% sure it judges me when I fill it with lukewarm Gatorade instead of the artisanal electrolyte nectar it deserves. Final verdict: 11/10. Buy it. Use it. Pass it down to your grandchildren. It ’ ll outlive us all.
