The RockLock has to be the best twist lock around. I was looking for a larger twist lock pear shape carabiner with a large gate opening to use on my cowtails for caving and this hit the mark. This is the largest opening I can find in a twist lock. Twist lock is super easy to open with thicker/muddy gloves on. Easier to clean/decon and durable. Larger opening makes these super easy to use at anchors, quick to clip safety lines, or to clip the ledge above your anchor knot. I also use these for making a top rope anchor as remember to screw the gate down, I ’ m bad with that, and it doesn ’ t take two hands to manipulate like a trilock. I can not recommend these more.

[ The purpose of this biner is to avoid cross- loading while belaying. Pros:- Easy to install on belay loop.- Does n't require opening the gate to open the belay- loop lock( like the BD one does).- Has a thick spine and large locking barrel to prevent a gri- gri from sliding in either direction.- The locking barrel is damped, and so does n't move if rattled while not locked all the way.- The locking barrel has a lot of extra travel- even if it started to come open, it would have to twist many times before allowing the gate to open.- Belay- loop lock spring tension is nice and high.- Quite light for the functionality! Cons:- The belay- loop gate makes racking a gri- gri on your harness slightly more awkward.( The grigri ends up sitting at the large end, and the wire gate sits on your gear loop).- The wide spine( a feature noted above) reduces the versatility of the biner, since it does n't fit into small holes( bolts, etc) as easily. But that's alright, since it's meant just for belaying anyway.

Only thing I 'd like is to be able to come on your site and just buy 2 replacement parts, the black cellphone strap piece that goes in the back of your phone and the rubber strap. I like the concept because I take a lot of photographs with my phone. It keeps the phone accessible. The only really small issue that I encountered was that the small square pad that sits inside the case under the phone, keeps the iPhone 14 Pro Max from going completely into the Apple Leather Case. It ’s definitely secure and won ’ t fall out of the case. It ’s not enough of an issue to stop me from buying additional lanyards for other family members.

I am very impressed with this magnetic release clip. The attachment ring on one end is very strong and about. 75 inches across to accommodate various attachment styles. The clip attached to the other half of the magnet is very sturdy and made of metal. The magnets are very strong and require a substantial pull pressure in order to release them so that accidental separation is unlikely.

Great QuickDraw, the dogbone is think enough if you need to yank up on a draw during a projecting session and the carabiners are a good size when you ’ re pumped and need to clip a draw. Especially great for the price! I ’ ll be buying more when I need new QuickDraws and may need to get the longer version as well. The longer ones are better for use with a stick clip especially if you are pulling draws off the wall with the stick.

I like the thick dog one that ’s easy to grab if needed, and the carabiners included are easy to manipulate when getting a forearm pump and tired hands. I use two together often for a quick top rope anchor and they work great for it.

To start with, these quickdraws are hefty. I would n't call them heavy, but they definitely are n't lightweight. In my case, that's exactly what I was looking for. I want to be able to use these often without having to worry about them wearing out and the give me the impression that they 'll last a long time. If you want something lightweight for alpine excursions, check out Mammut's wiregate options. The gates are stiff enough that I am not worried about them coming open accidentally. My favorite feature is that there is red fabric embedded in the dog- bone, which if you manage to wear the fabric down far enough to reveal that red fabric you 'll know its time to replace the dog- bone.

The Hotforge quickdraw is a well designed quickdraw with a beefy 18mm nylon dogbone sling that ’s easy to grab. Both carabiners are rated and snag free keylock carabiners. I ’ d recommend this quickdraw if you are not worried about weight.

When you are buying quickdraws from a reputable company, you should get what you expect and you get that from BD. This is a device that you literally trust with your life and it delivers. Well made, light weight but strong, and easy to use when on the wall. The length is good for when you need a bit of extra length, but a bit short for some anchors, and you 'll need to use an extension for those. I tend to only carry a few of these with me on a climb, with the majority of my rack being shorter and lighter 'draws.

I Loke that it is easy to use with gloves on due to there size. The solid gate wake it easy to take from the gear loop and the wire gate save on weight. I like them for ice climbing. In summer I use lighter draws with small carabiners. I would like to see those draws with a 15- 18cm dogbone. Short draws are nice for some sport route, but then I personnaly use ligther draws.
