I have spent the last few months looking for a harness the is on the lighter side but still really comfortable!! And all my searching stopped here! This harness is great for spending a day at the gym or working on that tough project at the local crag! Bottom line... the aquila is pretty kick butt!!

[ This harness has a fantastic fit and a quality build. Everything feels solid when straps are manipulated and the padding is just right when in use.

Tim R
[ So happy with this harness. Easy to put on, Feels great, light, and keeps your straps out of your way. The belay loop is also slimmer than those super wide belay loops which is nice because it stays out of your way when being belayed. No negatives. A+++

[ fits well. gear loops are where you expect them. unobtrusive when you 're climbing. haul loop in the back is a bit difficult to access, but I 'm sure I 'd recommend this harness.

I got this rope for a trip to Red Rocks for cragging to multi pitch classics. Not too heavy not too thin. It gives a soft catch and easily moves through the belay device.

I got this rope for a good all around summer rope. I feels nice and light and easy to manage. Rope management is the name of the game and this rope is easy to work with.

I love 9. 4 rope cause it thin, light, soft enough for my fingers when pulling to clip, and also it does n't get twisted passing trough atc or through top rope binners when you work on your project!

Just wrapped up guiding two weeks ’ guiding in the Black Hills with two of these 80m cords( required for some of the extended pitches and TR situations we were rigging for clients.). Rope selection is always a trade off, but I was surprised by how light and packable these were- and even more surprised by how well they held up to group TR days over long pitches of rough rock. Price is a sweet spot, too. I ’ ll be stocking more of these for sure.

[ Incredible handling and climbing right out of the package with minimal coil. Superior handling to any rope I 've used before( Petzl, BD, Mammut, etc.). Even with the double dry coating, the rope is still super subtle and handles as though there's no coating on it at all.

[ I have done about 35 pitches with this rope. Aside from the normal stress getting twists out that most new ropes give i am really impressed with the handling of this rope and how easily it feeds through belay devices. It still catches falls really nicely though. I have used this rope with a rope bag except on multipitches so i am surprised at how much dirt this rope has picked up. Although we did get caught in the rain once and it may have been a little damp on the next outing. I will give it a wash and evaluate further

The videos on the different harnesses are super helpful. I was really torn about which size to get because I need this to fit over ski gear. This is my third BD 9. 4 Dry, not because they wear out or need replaced for some reason, but because I have them in different lengths because they 're the best rope I 've ever used! This time I got the 40m because my local crags here in PA are only 18m so it's perfect- very little rope laying on the ground and lighter to back in and out! What a great idea BD to make this 40m rope! I LOVE it!!! Thanks!

This rope is ready to roll right from the box with minimal break in needed. It ’s durable and coil ’s easily. I bought the bd rope marker after reading reviews that the mid mark wears quickly but my mid mark is still clearly visible after 15 to 20 uses( trad mp climbing) in mostly dry conditions. Planning to use this for ice climbing as well. Great rope!

This rope is exactly what a rope should be. Not too thick or thin and dry treated so I can use it on ice or snow in the winter!

This climbing bundle is amazing! The belay device is super easy to learn and great for beginners. The harness is also amazing quality and very robust! The only thing I did not like is size fitment, but that is totally on me!

It was a bit bulky at first, but honestly, it is very comfortable after wearing and climbing/rappelling all day. I definitely prefer it over my previous harness. I love the quick adjustment of the double buckles in front of the harness, which for me, makes it easier to take off and put on, especially over bulky layers. The belay device is still working pretty hard, and is really lightweight, yet reliable. I really like the chalk bag too! This was by far a steal!

The mips system is there it does n't change the feeling neither rhe fit. The headlamp attachment is easy to use and secure. The back attachment is not as easily adjustable as some other brand, but he it's no big deal.

Melissa M.
This helmet fits me perfectly and is much lighter than my half dome helmet I 've been wearing for years. Plus, MIPS. Ca n't go wrong with this upgrade.
5
Devon M.
This is the slimmest, lightest helmet all while providing the best protection out there. The weight makes hiking to exit points almost feel like I forgot to bring a helmet at times, while longer delay times off exit don ’ t rattle the neck on opening. This helmet will fit as snugly as you ’ d like while maintaining comfort. I can vouch that this helmet ain ’ t going anywhere on your head, even when going from a 60mph freefall to a dead stop.
5
daniel i.
A helmet is for protecting your head and not for saving weight!! Great style, I dont usually wear black but this thing pulls together any outfit you have. I have n't tried hot summer climbing with it yet, but I 'll wear it over any super lightweight helmet. I took a 50+ footer, upside down, back slamming whipper in the Valley last season and vowed to always wear a MIPS helmet in case that ever happens again.
5
Sarah S.
I recently decided I needed a new helmet and like the idea of something slightly bulkier and heavier than what I used before but also more protective. Well, I was in a crash and the helmet did it ’s job and actually saved me.

I bought this harness because I wanted a low weight, compact harness for mountain guiding and glacier travel. It worked perfectly and was super comfortable to wear while traversing the glacier even with my backpack on. Also, in general it is a really comfortable harness to wear for top rope and gym lead. I have n't used it for sport or trad yet, but I 'll update when I have.
5
I originally got this harness for ice climbing as it has 6 different ice tool clipper spots( on both sides, 12 total) of the waist. This allowed me to put my ice tool clippers exactly where I wanted them versus where they have to be on other harnesses. It is very lightweight with functional gear loops. I recently took it alpine climbing and it felt awesome having it on all day, even through the more scrambly areas of the climb. Would highly recommend especially for women that have a bigger chest or hips and need to put ice tool clippers in specific spots in order to see them. I have a Large which works great with winter layers but I could have also fit a medium. I am 5' 6 '' and 170 lbs.
5
Somehow this harness has less padding and is lighter weight than the Ophir slide or the black diamond momentum harness, but is actually more comfortable when sitting in it for a long time. I 'd highly recommend if you have a bit more money to throw in for a harness that you want to be lightweight and still comfy. Fits true to size.
5
Amazin harness which is surprisingly comfortable and does not consume any space in the backpack. I am using it for trad climbing. I climb with 14 cams, 12 slings, and three sets of nuts/tricams. I also carry cordlette, belay device and bunch of lockers. All these can be comfortably clipped to the harness. The front gear loops are bigger and the gear is easy to unclip/clip. I use the front gear loops for cams and draws. The rear loops I use for nuts, lockers and belay devices. The harness has also a small gear loop at the rear in the middle. I use this for the nut tool and sometimes the radio. The harness feels good on my body and I do n't even feel it while climbing. The only little thing I found is the seem in front without any padding pushing against my bones. I did not experience it with my previous harness ocun Ego. Anyway, it is not too annoying and I might get used to it very soon.

Jacinto F
This harness is comfortable for a full day in the alpine. I spent 16+ hours wearing this harness scrambling, alpine trad climbing, rappelling, and doing some sketchy snow crossings. While a bit heavier than some of the Petzl options it ’s 100% worth it for the comfort.
$89.95
It's also a bit unique in that it's not the same( orange) harness every other climber on the mountain is wearing. ... Excellent product for alpine climbing and
5
Have used other light weight harnesses especially BD. While they have served great and fine but needed more security for glacial peaks& mountains like Denali and Rainier. The solid loops to hang carabiners gives that peace of mind. Bottomline- lightest and strongest in the market. Petzel Altitude comes right close but I like Mammut colors as they are visible in whiteout or glacial peaks like Denali, Rainier, 8000m,.
5
I bought this originally for rescue in my job as a ski patroller and have found myself bringing it on every ski touring trip where I may need a harness instead of my BD Couloir. While the Mammut does not pack down as small it is more robust and comfortable. The small bit of extra size and weight is negligible in my opinion.
5
Just used this climbing mt hood, did great. I love that you do n't have to take off skis to put it on.
5
Very Happy with this harness. I used it while ski mountaineering and it was great.

Super lightweight harness great for ski traverses. The sizing is a bit smaller than expected.
4
This is a great ultralight harness& super versatile and comfortable( for what it is). Excellent functionality and some of the best racking on this type of harness. Super light and compact too. I prefer this to the Petzl Fly. That said- the sizing is off. I 'm a 32 '' waist and based on Mammut's sizing chart I should be a comfortable medium. In reality I barley squeeze into the medium's hip belt. I have thick legs and the legs are fine though. Overall, I 'd highly recommend this harness, with the caviot that folks should try it on in- store. Hopeful that Mammut can address the sizing issue, but likely plan to size up on this harness. Would be 5 stars, but for the sizing issue.

I bought this for a very particular application and it is perfect. It is incredibly light and it barely takes up any pack space. It is as comfortable as you can expect from something in this category and has solid attachments for the minimal gear I carry in these situations. Plus, it's awesome to have a sub 2oz harness to toss around for emergency kits.

[ Purchased rope in Sept 16. Use it for leading weekly. Have also used it for short single pitch top rope climbing outside. The rope has held up really nicely! The plastic pieces at the ends of the rope fell off quickly. No big deal. My only gripe is that after a fall the knot cinches pretty tight. Takes a little effort to undo. Other than that, solid rope! Would definitely buy again!!
5
myslyalibi
[ Only had a chance to use this rope in the gym a couple of times, but it's doing the job. The tight weave can be abrasive during a fall or a quick descent for the belayer. Otherwise, it's an efficient and size- appropriate rope for the gym.
4
Jonathan
[ Overall a very competent gym rope. I actually prefer mine a little smaller( in mid 9. xmm range). It's light and compact and comes with velcro. Please note the red color is much closer to magenta in person.
$54.95
It ’s easy to use and prioritizes safety ... I also teach rock climbing and I really like the PILOT for top rope classes. ... Icy ropes are scary to me, so this device is great, for assisted breaking and lowering on ice
5
Mike A
The ATC Pilot has quickly become my go- to belay device for all indoor and most outdoor climbing. I have always found tube style devices a bit clunky for paying out rope( long live the spring plate!) but the Pilot's thumb hook makes the process smooth and effortless. The Pilot is light enough that I 'll bring it along even when I need to use my Guide for a top belay on a multi- pitch route. With a 10mm rope and a wide carabiner, the braking feels similar to that of mechanically assisted braking devices.
5
Richard
I have only used the ATC- Pilot a few times since it was purchased and find it a great improvement on both the conventional belay device and the 'gri- gri' when lead and top rope belaying. The rope moves smoothly through the device but provides the security of 'locking' in the event of a fall. At this point I can not envisage using any other device for belaying. One note of caution however: after only one session my carabiner showed signs of abrasion from the very thin edges on the ATC- Pilot. This is probably only the coloured anodising on the carabiner but does indicate the considerable stress being applied and needs watching over the next few months.
5
Walnut
I thought this new belay device might be a bit of a gimmick. I 've hated the mechanical assist devices since the beginning of time but was open to a non- camming simple system to use with newer belayers. One day in with this device and WOW I ca n't believe it. Great with novices and loved by seasoned climbers. The only thing I 'd like to see change is adapt it to a double rope device for rappelling!
5
Steve
I manage an outdoor education program and highly recommend this device for gym applications and top rope single pitch guiding. The ease of skills transfer to a traditional tube style device( likely to be a new climbers first device) is much more practical than using other ABDs which have additional mechanisms which can complicate lowering, etc. I have not found it to be the best device for self belaying in rescue scenarios, but definitely not what it is designed for.
5
Justen
I like how the design helps me quickly feed rope out for desperate clips yet keeps my brake hand on at all times.

5
Doncoyote
[ The double rappel loops are perfect for 2 rope solo top- roping, takes away that over crowded, overloaded single loop syndrome.... And, its Metolius, how could you go wrong!
4
moutaingoat333
[ I really like my Metolius Harness and that basically everything on this harness is a hard point. The waist buckle is an update from their old double back buckles( they are still on the leg loops which make adjustment a little tenuous) which is bomber. Contrary to many waist buckles, this one latches down on the nylon strap when it is tightened inhibiting any accidental openings of the waist strap. I think this is an improvement in speed of putting on the harness over the old double back buckles that you had to feed through each for adjustment. The foam padding is concentrated which could make long hanging belays a little uncomfortable.
4
Adamm H
[ I have had this for a couple months. Wearing it is comfortable, and the gear loops work well. I really like having two belay loops too. It is uncomfortable to hang in for long periods of time, and because part of the waist band is not stitched to the tightening strap, it can be a little annoying to get on just right. For trad climbing or multipitching without hanging belays, it's great. It just wo n't replace a sport climbing harness.
$59.99
[ This harness is excellent, very conformable and gives me confidence it its safety. ... It's light, have n't had any issues hooking/unhooking gear in the middle of lead
5
DylPick
[ Love the comfort and style of this harness. Not a fan of the orange now that I ’ ve seen it up close, but otherwise It ’s great for climbing indoors or out.
5
CragsForDays
[ Was looking for an affordable harness that could accommodate multiple different people/body sizes and this harness did not disappoint. Easy to put on and adjust, especially loved the dual buckles that keep the gear loops even. The padding is somewhat bulky but not terribly so.
5
Kam5
[ I have a smaller waist and larger thighs and after about a month of searching for a harness this one was perfect! The double adjusters on the waist and adjusters on the legs make it really easy to adjust to the right size. It's a bulkier harness but the comfort is worth it if you are n't too worried about weight.
5
SLB34
[ I am so glad I came across this harness. I want to feel secure when I climb and this design helps with that- even if it is just mental, it ’s made a difference in my climbing experience. This harness is sturdy and I love the color I bought. It ’s a comfortable harness, holds up well, easy to put on, easy to adjust.

The sizing was a real guess, but I think the chart provided is pretty accurate. The harness is very comfortable to climb in and sufficiently comfortable to wear all day. The leg straps are a little goofy in my opinion and I struggled to get them in the `` perfect '' position but it worked out alright. As a whole it is a very nice harness, it packs up well and the utility loops on the side are very helpful when setting up the tower.

Being the base level, this hardness is limited by the adjustability of the legs and waist. But it is still very comfortable and has a high- quality feel!

Very nice beginners harness. I recently started top roping and took a class using the rental harness( not sure of brand) and knew I ’ d need something better. I bought the Momentum harness and am thoroughly impressed. The adjustments for the legs are much more comfortable and easy to adjust. Belt buckle is a single strap to tighten with double D- rings so it won ’ t budge while climbing. Fanny adjusters are with a single pull strap from behind. I can hang in this and fall hard without being uncomfortable, pinched or bruised at the end of the session. It ’s a bit of a bulky feeling harness but I believe it just adds to the support/cushion for the user and does not impede climbing. Highly rec this harness for beginners unsure of what to buy. Just make sure to try on the right size as the leg adjusters don ’ t have much adjustment. I ’ m 6 ’ 4 ” waist size 32 and wear a large, fits perfect.

[ I have used this harness about half a dozen times so far and like it more and more each time I use it. The leg loops are comfy for hanging and the waist is padded but light enough that sometimes I forget I am wearing it! Went outdoor climbing with it and it held 14 draws, PAS, quad anchor, and some extra carabiners and did not feel too loaded up. Definitely worth getting, and I wish I had gotten it sooner!

[ Bought this for a friend to teach him the basics, handiness is great, he loves the color, says it ’s comfortable and as a pro league snowboarder he knows what quality equipment feels like. I ’ ve had many harnesses over the last 20 yrs from everything from petzel to grivel and I can say without a doubt this is one great harness, holds its adjustments, he has had zero issues with this. Taking him up mixed climbing and ice climbing come winter and he ’ ll be wearing this, won ’ t be any issue unlike others.

[ I wanted my new harness to have a waist and leg loops that could be opened completely so I can put it on when wearing crampons, skis, or do n't feel like standing on one foot while putting it on. I was pleased that the gear lops and the ice clippers I added are lined up evenly on both sides when the waist is adjusted.( I have a 32 inch waist and got the large harness because the leg loop size matched my leg measurements.) It's light and does n't take up much space in my pack.

I like it. It's lighter and less complicated than my basic harness. My old one, which is now my trunk spare, had leg buckles and two waist buckles. Almost every time I used it, it needed to be untangled. This harness has no leg buckles and one waist. It took me a couple of times to get used to the singular waist, but now it's no problem and almost never tangled. I primarily indoor climb, and almost do n't notice I 'm even wearing it. 5. 10+ is my highest grade climbing and that's not often. Was hoping the harness would push me to a 10. 14+ but alas, I 'm still at my same level. But I look better. I actually chose the Honnold version because his charity got something. Otherwise I would have gotten the regular.

[ I bought this to replace a light rock climbing harness I had been using for home maintenance safety( tree and rooftop work). I have already used it for some tree climbing using a Petzl Zigzag combined with knee and foot ascenders and it did the job admirably for its price point( i. e. I 'm sure the SRT Harness would be more comfortable for hanging by a rope all day, for limiting hanging this harness was comfortable and secure enough and at less than half the price). It feels totally secure... no slipping, no binding, and I 'm able to adjust it for a great fit. Typical high- quality Petzl product. Worth every penny.

I bought this harness about 1 month ago to replace a much bulkier harness that needed to be retired. I use it for instructing, trad leading, and top rope. I love how light it is, and gear loops are great for trad. The waist fit and contour is great, and it stays in place even when weighted down with a bunch of gear. Adjustable leg loops are much appreciated. The only drawback is the waist sizing, but it worked for me. My waist size is near the top end for size small, but too small for the medium( I think). When I make the waist as bit as it goes, it's kind of a tight fit over my butt. My measurements are 29 in waist and 36- 38 hips. To be fair, I often have to get pants tailored. My only concern is getting it on over my butt if I 'm wearing bulky pants or multiple layers, but I 'm sticking with it because I love everything else.

I found the harness comfortable, durable, and secure. It was rubbed against all sorts of rock and remains fine. So far it's been great for gym climbing and outdoor activities. No complaints here.

This harness is fantastic. I love it. Easily adjustable, great fit, thin and easy to pack, and it's comfortable despite how thin and slim the form factor is. Whether beginner or more experienced, it's a very nice harness and has a lot of room for expansion when clipping.

KSG20002
Bought for use indoor and outdoor climbing and I ca n't say enough good things about this harness. It is lightweight, a true' I forget I 'm wearing it' design of streamlined comfort. The color is nice and not overly common in the gym, which I like. Glad I got the women's version as I find it long enough for my torso that was too short for the unisex harnesses I tried on. I am 5' 9 '', 140lbs with a long hourglass shape and the small fits me very well.

We just purchased a bunch of new gear for our outdoor adventure summer camp, Missoula Outdoor Learning Adventures, including stoppers, cams, rope, ATC's, locking biners, harnesses, etc. As owner of the camp, BD is the clear choice for me when I 'm putting other people's children( and my own!) on the rock. We 've been using BD gear for 20+ years, I 've never been disappointed, and I always feel confident sending groups out to climb. With excellent attention to details of safety and functionality, BD earns a 5 star rating from me.

I like the comfort of the solution... feels like a sturdy harness but it pretty light. Watch the sizing... you want to get it right, so that the gear loops are in the right position. Though I fit a Medium( I 'm a 33 waist), the Large is better in terms of where the gear loops sit. Some day hopefully, BD will figure out how to make the straps at the back more robust... they are always the first thing that fails.

[ I 've owned one of these for a year and used several times for glacier travel in the Cascades, including a mountaineering course on Mt. Baker during which I was suspended in a crevasse with this harness for 15 to 20 minutes while others were learning how to haul me out. Despite it being so light, it's actually surprisingly comfortable due to the fairly wide, flat leg loops. It's also very easy to get on and off while wearing crampons or skis, which is essential for an alpine harness.

5
I wanted to try out a new device after using a gri gri for a while now. The smart 2. 0 is much lighter and very smooth to use. This device really shines for me when lead belaying it's the smoothest assisted brake device you can get and not to mention at an awesome price point. 10/10 recommend.
5
Easy to use once, like everything new, you figure it out, intuitive never the less. Holds well and is nice to have piece of mind if anything happens of for neubies. Assistance for belayer when working a route puts ATC style devices to shame! Also still worked on icy and wet ropes where the Grigri struggles.

[ I bought this harness to replace a worn out Black Diamond, and I am so glad that I did. The adjustment system is very user- friendly, and feels secure. There is no uncomfortable pinching as I send my projects, and I ca n't wait to take this outside to the local crag. Also, I love this color way. Super sharp.
5
This harness gives me the comfort of taking big whips and light on my hips. Used the Ophir Slide 3 for years and just found a new upgrade. The hard draw loops are way nice for single pitch sport outdoors as I do n't have to worry about my draws flying all over the place. The rigid plastic keeps them close to my body allowing for faster clipping even though I 'm not that fast. Well good and love Mammut

A purchase for my wife. This was to replace her BD Momentum harness. She really likes it. Initially she was worried the leg straps would be too tight but after wearing them for a top/lead session at our local gym she felt they were simply felt 'snug', and not uncomfortable at all. She was also really pleased at how breathable the harness is. One can get pretty sweaty under the Momentum, but that is not the case with the Airnet. This is an example of when a products name does in fact describe its actual qualities.

This harness is so comfortable and light. Completely unnoticeable while climbing. Really enjoy how it moves. Definitely a sport climbing harness. At 5 ’ 11 ” 165 with a 32 inch waste the large fits great. Gear loops are definitely low profile. I can fit about 14 draws on the first set of rigid gear loops. Back gear loop are definitely a just incase being that they are just webbing. Was more comfortable than I thought while belaying. Wouldn ’ t want to hang in it for extended periods of time but plenty comfortable for hangdoggin up a route. A+ all around.

[ Picked this bad boy up a few weeks ago( so I ca n't necessarily attest to durability) but just by assessing how it was put together, I expect to be climbing on it for a while. It's quick to adjust, comfortable to wear and the grey/lava color combo is lush.
5
This is a great harness. Perfect for the gym since it's a single adjustment and easy to put on and take off. I think if I was sitting in it for any amount of time, I 'd prefer a 4 slide, but this is preferred for gym climbing. I have a 30 '' waist and the medium just barely fits, but works perfectly. If you have smaller than a 30 '' waist, I would recommend a small.
5
Easy to use, straight forward buckle, comfortable. Great for gym climbing at a minimum, draw loops are light but stand up well. Should be good for sport as well.

This harness is perfect for climbing short to medium pitches but once you have been in it for an extended amount of time it can get a little uncomfortable. I wore it while setting a top rope and was in it for over an hour and it was really comfortable for the time 30 mins but after that it started to be uncomfortable. But to about 90% of potential buyers this harness is perfect and lightweight for sport climbing. Also for figment I 'm a 32 waist and I fit snugly in the small.

This harness has verry a large waist belt and leg loops, they are also reasonably ridged this gives a verry comfortable hanging feel! The belay loops are interesting I like the lack of barracks my only concern is long term durability of these belay loops other than that, every part of this harness feels bomber and durable. I ca n't stress enough how well the large waist belt and leg loops feel 10/10!
5
Peter T.
So far this is a great harness, bigger and better than the Big Gun. Hanging in it for several hours at a time it ’s more comfortable than the previous BD big wall harness. I like that it does not have double stacked gear loops, making gear access easier. The addition of ice clipper slots is a nice addition, and makes convenient storage for awkward items. The modern speed buckle is a mixed bag for my use, but overall a positive change. I use this for bolt replacement work, and think it ’s great! Lots of hanging with lots of tools and faff, and this harness is a step up from other harnesses I ’ ve used.

I bought this to replace my old black diamond harness that was over 10 years old. This harness provides all the things I need for route climbing in the gym. It ’s light and really comfortable to sit on the wall with and to belay. I used the online measurements to choose which size to buy, but when I received my small harness it pinched my upper thighs uncomfortably while sitting or belaying. So, I sized up to a medium, whose measurements were slightly larger than my measurements and now it ’s incredibly comfortable while still fitting my waist. So, I ’ d recommend trying on in the store first to see if you should size up.

This harness fits nice and snug around the waist while still accommodating females with bigger muscular legs. It's comfy, offers plenty of places to clip gear, and my personal favorite touch, the attention to detail with the stitches allowing you to know when the harness is worn and needs to be replaced. Great for beginners or experts. I 've used it both inside and outside for climbs.

Picked up climbing for the first time this year. Love the colors and fits very nicely, 5 ’ 2 ” 135lbs, fit my legs and waist nicely. Cushions make falling comfortable as well.

This harness is extremely comfortable and well- designed. The padding is supportive without being bulky, and it distributes weight evenly, making hanging and belaying feel secure and comfortable. The 3- slide adjustment system makes it super easy to dial in a perfect fit, whether layering for cold weather or climbing in warmer conditions. The gear loops are sturdy and well- placed, offering plenty of room for racking without feeling cluttered. The materials feel high quality and durable, and the overall construction inspires confidence. It stays comfortable even during longer climbing sessions. Overall, this is a top- tier harness that balances comfort, adjustability, and performance. Highly recommend for both indoor and outdoor climbing.

Great harness& love all the adjustable straps. Love the breathable material on the inside of the waist& legs!!! It ’s not as comfortable when coming down( it can dig into the back of your thighs.) I also am not a fan of the light color for outdoor climbing. It gets dirty REALLY fast! This to me is more of an indoor climbing harness.

Great beginner harness for gym climbing. ... I have used this only in the climbing gym but really like the fit and comfort it provides. ... It is plenty comfortable for sport climbing and would be fine for trad as long as you wo n't need to hang...

Makes my weekly climb sooo much more comfy.( A little sweaty around the legs, but worth it for the cush factor.)

Purely based on the adjustability and comfort factor this harness has, it ’s close to the favorite one I own. The only one that beats it is the Solution Guide, because of the 5th gear loop on the back.

I got this to upgrade from the Couloir harness and its been great! Comfortable to wear for hours while belaying or climbing. Its pretty light too! Only natural downside is its is not as slim and packable as the Couloir harness, but its not made to. Definitely a 10/10 though!

The two buckles on the waistband enable you to center it over wide range of waist sizes and the clothes you have one. This is the 6th harness I have owned and it's going away the most comfortable. You really DO not realize you have it on. I am not good enough to comment on how an expert would find this harness, but from beginner to intermediate, I challenge you to find more bang for your buck!
When choosing climbing safety gear, consider factors such as the type of climbing you will be doing, the gear's weight, and its durability. Look for equipment that meets safety standards and is made from high-quality materials. Comfort and fit are also crucial, as well as the ease of use during climbs.
Proper sizing for climbing safety gear is essential for both comfort and safety. Most manufacturers provide sizing charts based on measurements such as waist and leg circumference for harnesses. Always try on gear before purchasing, and ensure it fits snugly without being restrictive.
For beginners, essential climbing safety gear typically includes a harness, helmet, and climbing shoes. A belay device is also important for safely managing the rope during climbs. As you progress, you may want to invest in additional gear such as carabiners and protection devices.
It's crucial to inspect your climbing safety gear before each use. Look for signs of wear and tear, such as frayed straps, damaged buckles, or cracks in helmets. Regular maintenance and proper storage can extend the life of your gear and ensure your safety while climbing.
Many climbing safety gear items are versatile and can be used for various types of climbing, including sport, trad, and indoor climbing. However, some gear may be specifically designed for certain activities, so it's important to choose equipment that matches your climbing style and environment.
