I didn??? t expect to like these as much as I do. These were perfect for the purpose I bought them for which was for Apple Fitness+ lower body strength workouts. I celebrated my 250th strength workout in these and surprisingly also received the burned the most calories award so I have to believe they definitely contributed to that. I sized down to an 8 from my usual Nike size 8. 5 and glad I did??? the EasyOn coupled with the Hyperlift stability plate makes it so easy to slip on/off. The grip is also phenomenal on these, I??? ll have no issue upping the weight going forward! No cons though note that these are absolutely not running shoes, I wouldn??? t even try as they??? re much too firm/blocky for that.

They look great, feel more stable than the 8 ’s, and have a little more toe room. One additional thing to note is that the traction pattern is way better on the 9, as my 8 ’s toe traction ripped after repeatedly doing planks. It seems like that will not happen with the 9.

I bought the UA Velociti Elite 2 after watching many reviews of the top carbon plated racing shoes. I am stoked that I did! I ordered it in a half size larger than my normal size because I have a wide foot. Perfect fit! The upper hugs the foot like a snug glove and the lock down is excellent. The midsole has a generous amount of cushioning but plenty of spring to propel you forward. I didn ’ t expect to like the outsole as much as traditional rubber. The cushion is soft and my heals did not hurt during the each gym session which lasted 90 minutes each. The shoes are true to size. I wear size 10 and these are a perfect fit. I bought these with skepticism- Nike usually has good looking shoes, but often underdeliver with quality and functionality. These shoes get the job done. I purchased with the intention of wearing them in the weight room- no desire to run and/or jump in them. They provide excellent ankle support and a wide toe base so that you 're able to get your feet set before every lift. The firm sole provides little toe bend, which I appreciate. I would n't recommend them if you 're wanting to run, they 're heavier and on the clunky side, but think they 're well suited for a lifting or HIIT type shoe.

I am a size 7. 5 and generally wear an 8 in Nike sneakers( Pegasus, etc.) so that I have room in the toes in case my feet swell a little from heat or hiking, etc. I ordered the Metcon in my normal Nike size of 8 and my big toe is basically at the tip of the shoe, so I need to exchange them for an 8. 5.
