This shoe has enough room for her feet while still fitting snugly to her foot shape. This makes them extremely easy for her to walk in. They are flexible enough to move with her feet but still sturdy enough to hold up to a very busy toddler. I love the black on black design because my daughter can be rough on these shoes and they still look amazing. Possibly my favorite feature though, is how lightweight they are. We have tried other brands in the past and they were heavy and clunky. Not at all ideal for kids who are learning to walk. [ First impressions: The Nike Revolution 7 tdv is probably one of our favorite sneakers to put on our little one for a full day out of the house. The toe box is constructed wide which I feel is a must have for babies and toddlers to allow for ample room for the toes and forefoot, while breathable material surrounds and secures the heel in place. The shoe appears to have laces, but they are elastic and fixed in place, which helps keep a snug fit over the top of the foot. Weighing in at just 53g per shoe, this is one of the lightest all around, general purpose shoes we have for our active child. Fit: Fit is true to size, but may also depend on the type of socks being used. We were able to use regular socks with no issue, but if you prefer padded socks, a size up may be a better option. The insole has a lot of cushion and the recycled material of the outsole has some flexibility, so our little one was just fine with regular socks throughout the day with seemingly no discomfort or fatigue. Quality: For a shoe that has integrated recycled materials into the construction, the shoes have held up quite well over the few weeks of use we ’ ve had it. The black on black color way in particular helps with hiding scuffs and the shoes practically retained their nearly brand new look. The upper of the shoe is mostly made of a breathable mesh material with waterproofed toe guards and lace inlets for extra durability. Nike took details from adult shoes and incorporated them onto a children ’s shoe. The mini Swoosh near the toe box? So awesome to see that on a kids shoe! The design of the mid- sole and overall silhouette really set these apart from others in the market- it looks and feels like these took some serious time and effort to design. The bottom of the shoe just makes sense in its design- providing traction without being bulky. My son is active in the neighborhood, always riding scooters and chasing his friends around. He tends to take his shoes off and put them back on several times throughout the day. This shoe is easy to get off and back on, and he never felt like his foot was slipping around while playing. Best of both worlds. My son even made sure to tell me that these shoes were EASY to get off and back on, all by himself. Hallelujah! I don ’ t love the Velcro strap, but I suppose that ’s a necessary element to keep the shoe sturdy on the kids foot. [ My son started walking at 10. 5 months and it was hard to find a shoe that had the support he now needs at 1, that didn ’ t have a soft bottom. The soles of these shoes are solid but flexible, which was a big selling point for me. We tried these shoes on just to test the fit and my daughter refused to take them off — amazing for an almost- two year old! These are secure and we haven ’ t had any issues with awkward steps or tripping that sometimes happen with a shoe that is too wide or elevated. These are our go- to shoes and even hold up well to light water exposure( my toddler is a puddle jumper). I will happily recommend these to friends and family and may pick up another pair in the next size or another color down the line. Fantastic shoes!

These shoes are comfortable for easy miles but lightweight and responsive enough to pick up the pace as well. They have a little bit of bounce, but they are not too soft, which I appreciate- my preference for shoes is a bit on the firmer end; I do n't like a big squishy marshmallow. [ The Cortez Easyon ’s are comfortable and lightweight. They are true to size and hold the foot nicely. I love that they were designed with elastic laces attached to a Velcro strap rather than regular laces. I also love that the tongue is attached to the laces so there is no slipping when sliding in wiggling feet. The fabric also seems very durable and will hopefully give these shoes a long lifespan since my kid will be using them to run around and play in. Overall I think this is a great shoe and would very much recommend them to any parent looking for a nice comfortable shoe for their kid. I wouldn ’ t change anything about them.

The first test before playing basketball or running was wearing them for a full day at school. Not all shoes fit my sons foot correctly but these were a hit! When his feet did not hurt after wearing for 8 straight hours we knew we had a winner. Next was running. Check! Basketball. Check! He played for 2 hours and his feet felt great! The lightweight material really helps him move quick. We normally do n't get black sneakers but this color way with the gray accents worked well. We would definitely like to see these in some different colors for sure to see how they would work. The sole is a little thick which did concern me but it worked out. Great shoe overall for my active 7 year old.
