I ’ ve been using the NordicTrack G LE recumbent bike for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it ’s been a pretty great experience overall. The console isn ’ t anything fancy—it ’s pretty basic—but it gets the job done. It connects to my iPad via Bluetooth, which I love because I can track my stats and see detailed feedback during my ride. The info it gives is actually pretty helpful and motivating, especially if you ’ re working on improving your fitness. The seat is super comfy! It ’s got a good range of motion, so whether you ’ re tall or short, you can adjust it to fit just right. I ’ ve had no issues riding for extended periods, and the seat feels supportive without being too hard or too soft. The resistance feels smooth when adjusting, though I ’ ll admit the lowest level is a little tougher than I expected. [ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.

Putting it together required being focused, but it was fairly easy. Once together, it is doing exactly what we bought it to do: getting adequate, easily done exercise for two older folks. I ’ ve got four 45- minute segments and it doesn ’ t give me the same accomplishment from walking outdoors in that same time without turning the resistance past 8 on the 14- levels dial, but I don ’ t miss my outdoor exercise when it ’s 22 degrees and 17 mph wind gusts make walking undoable. Quality of the bike manufacturing is very good. Seat is comfortable and the pedals are easy to secure your foot( adjustable). Pedaling is quiet and the distance from seat to pedal is variable by adjusting the seat height and should satisfy most riders. The bike is very quiet when pedaling so it can be situated in any room available. Overall, A+ so far.
