I have only installed this on a couple of clubs, but am happy enough with it's performance and feel that I plan to do the full set. I was looking for an inexpensive and less rough alternative to my Golf Pride Z- Grips, which I love. One of the reasons I have stayed with them for so long is because they are durable. However, they can tear your hands up after a while. Your glove seems to wear out sooner too. I have also tried Lamkin cord grips, but, for whatever reason, I seem to wear them out faster. Tour Velvet cords were an option as well, but since these were a couple of dollars cheaper( and they were out of stock), figured why not give them a try. Truth be told though, these are n't as grippy as the Z- Grips or Crossline Cords, because they are less rough. But I wanted a balance of comfort and performance and these seem to do the job at a cheaper price point. While some may prefer the standard black, I chose white( with black cord) just to make my set a little different.

I love the included weight kit. It comes with 2 of each 3 gram, 8 gram, and 13 gram weights. After noticing that I had a common right miss, I went with a 13 gram weight in the heel and a 3 gram in the toe, and voila, no more three putts. I never thought a putter would shave strokes but those long putts have become consistently close to the pin. Switched to the heavier weights and it ’s a sledgehammer but has terrific feel. I ’ ve even felt some off the toe that still stayed on line. Best putter I ’ ve ever owned. Only complaint is the alignment aid isn ’ t the best. It ’s not terrible, but I ’ ve played with much better.

I been using this putter for about 8 months and could not be happier. Included weight kit is great. I ended up putting a heavier weight in the toe to slow down face rotation. Craftsmanship and feel are top notch. Mine came with specific mallet head cover and fits like glove with durable construction. Finish does get smudges easily but cleans up like new. Finish has not faded at all. Still looks like new. I ’ m making more puts and the great feel gives a sense of control that is lacking in a lot of other putters. Highly recommend!

Left hand wind is a must for me. I am right handed but never figured out why so many people choose to cast with their right hand and then switch hands so they can wind with their right hand. I received my rod with one guide damaged( bent, with the insert ring ready to pop out) due to poor packaging for shipping. The rod was taped to the inside of a floppy, poorly constructed triangular box that looked like a gorilla had stepped on it. A cardboard rod tube would have been a logical shipping container choice. I managed to repair the damaged guide and noticed that the action of the rod is labeled MHF. I feel the action is a little on the lighter side though. More like a Medium Action. I bought this reel about 2 months ago and so far, it's done great! I bought this reel for saltwater use and it has held up fine. I 've caught everything from edge of slot puppy drum off the beach to small specks and striper in the sound. I can happily report that thus far, I have had no problems with the unsealed drag. As far as the drag's performance, it could n't work better. the drag knob is easy to adjust while playing a fish and has a nice clicky- ness to it so you do n't over adjust it. I did get a little sand in there while fishing from the beach, but after removing the spool and giving it a thorough rinse it works like new. My few complaints are rather petty. The first being that the finish seems to come off fairly easily. while having it in the canoe with me it was sliding around and the matte black finish rubbed off a bit around the rim. however, it's hardly noticeable and only cosmetic. Secondly, the rubbery handle occasionally catches the fly line when I 'm casting. It juts out a bit more than I care for.
