Been pretty happy with this set; note the anodized aluminum is to be hand- washed( like all other similar sets). The multi- tool is minimal but we are BUSHCRAFTING, are n't we? Make a handle in the field.

Nordic Game Hunter
Brought compleat with me on my first caribou hunt. In though hikes in the norwegian mountains it's important to save weight and space, which is exactly what the compleat does! Way better then my old clumpy set I 've had for years. It's with me everytime i go out on longer hunts and warm meals are planned.
5
Micah G
Ca n't say enough good things about this set. Solid build, but incredibly lightweight. I actually sometimes even use this at home( the fork is great for noodle soup). I think the only drawback is that it relies on the tension of the full set to hold together, otherwise it 'd be perfect. Still 5 stars to me!
5
Apolinar
Great backpacking tool to have a more comfortable meal. I would ad a whole or a carabiner slot in order to make it easy to carry
5
I can not say enough about this utensil! I do n't think Gerber knows just what they have created. The spoon is angular and deep. Broad handle for easy gripping. Try holding and scraping the sides of a can with a regular household tablespoon. The spork is angular and deep also. Broad handle for easy gripping. The tines can be used for straining or piercing food. The spatula works extremely well as either a tong or spatula. The serrated edge leaves something to be desired for cutting. In short, I 've been using the spoon at home because of the satisfying amount of food I can crame into my mouth.

[ For this test I recruited my father to help me review this product! I watched him move around the kitchen as I always did ever since I was a little girl. He took time preparing steak but mostly admiring and talking about these knives and how well they worked. He was especially fond of the 8 '' chef knife and called it his favorite in the collection. Safe to say, I may not be getting my knives back anytime soon haha!

[ This 3- piece life set came in a heavy duty black case. Each knife came in a well protected, olive- green sheath for safety. Highly recommend! The knives themselves are a decent size and surprisingly, lightweight even with its sheath on. This would make an excellent man gift!

[ The ring is great for a quick clip onto my harness. Easy open and close. It seems to hold its edge quite nicely. Strong blade, not afraid of it breaking. Handle is a bit flimsy, but if you hold it closer to the blade it's sturdy.

[ This knife works great as a very lightweight option for backpacking. It stays clipped to my pack strap so it's always easy to grab when needed to fight off zombies, alien invaders, or whitewalkers.

[ Great knife for pretty much all outdoor activities. The only feature I would request is a way to lock the knife closed as well as open. While it has never opened unintentionally, the ability to lock it closed would bring a little extra peace of mind.

When it's time to stop digging through your institution's/outfitters's fleet of incomplete kitchen totes with random crusty tools from decades ago, consider this set for one- stop shopping. It has pretty much all the tools I want on a group trip or front country kitchen. I like the way it interlocks to pack small( and, more critically, more easy to find in the group kitchen tote common to many programs.) Small packing is the goal on kayak trips, so I love this compact toolkit. The addition of tongs is appreciated, too. I like stainless for program use much more than plastic, so another win.

[ These are amazing utensils made from HEAVY stainless steel, which doesn ’ t rust. That ’s good because they have to air dry when I ’ m over- landing! Solid, one- piece construction that should outlast me and makes cleaning easy, no crevices on the handles for food to get stuck in. The added thickness also prevents heat from traveling up the handle during cooking.

[ I really like cutting boards so getting this was a nice addition. I chop cilantro, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and etc. and it has held up well. It has a trim that juices will sink into rather than off the board. The knife set is also cool and has a good feel to them. I wasn ’ t actually a fan of the glass, but it does serve a purpose! [ This is a very neat little gadget to have. It's easy to open up to get to the knives that are in the board, and it opens up completely so it's not hard to get to the knives. There are four different lives included, so you can cut and slice all types of cheese. The one thing that is a little hard because of its size is cleaning it, but overall I really like this product.

[ Rustic fun board. It includes a stainless cheese knife, 3 labels and a chalk pencil. Board is of average size 15x10x 0. 8. The unique feature of this board is that it has a chalkboard front for labeling. Packaging is sturdy and presentable. Unfortunately, I deducted 1 star because it ’s not dishwasher friendly.

[ This charcuterie board is really fun for entertaining! I love the chalkboard labels and the included cheese knife. I do wish there was a secret drawer to store the knife and 3 cheese markers because once you take them out of the top notches, it leaves the indentations, which are not really functional and takes away space on the board because you can not cover them up with the food very easily….

Fits a bottle of wine, a baguette, crackers and cheese, veggie platter and spreads. Sounds like a plan to me. The straps can handle the weight.

I think Gerber decides to reward our loyalties ever few years when it comes out with a little GEM like this. The Zilch is a wonderful design, it's inexpensive and simple but it works. The detent works, centering is perfect, lock up is solid, no blade play, sturdy pocket clip, smooth opening and the flat ground drop point blade is awesome. No expensive handle materials or blade steel at this price point but I love carrying it all the same. I got the Red one but will probably get more in the different colors just because. I think the main comparison/competition to the Zilch would be the Dozier and the 112 Slim...... so if you like that style of knife but prefer a liner lock then maybe the Zilch is for you.
5
I wish the Zilch had been around when I was going through knifes. Very solid little knife for the money with full liner. May not be premium material, but for the price beautifully executed. I find the Zilch design both more aesthetic and functional than other knifes in its price range. I do n't know how it would hold up under the use I give a knife, but at its price it would be a tool I 'd use and replace when I broke or lost it. And I broke and lost a lot of knives that cost more. Gerber might just have the best in its class here.

Let me tell you a little story.... once upon a time there was a doe. she had been killed on the last minute of the bow hunting season. My neighbor( NC bow hunter of the year) had this knife in his garage. I decided to use this knife for the deer he killed. The knife cuts out everything like butter. The back straps were just falling off of this deer. this knife also just looks so cool. steel is a big plus. my honest to god opinion would be that this knife is the best knife i have EVER used and i have used a lot of knifes.

I was looking for an American Made knife for daily carry that could be opened with one hand and that was slim and light. The Buck Bantam was a perfect fit for all this criteria. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a sharp, easily carried knife for daily use.

When selecting a cutlery set, consider the types of meals you typically prepare and the number of people you usually serve. Look for sets that include essential utensils like knives and forks, and consider the material and design for comfort and durability. Additionally, think about whether you need a compact set for travel or a larger set for home use.
Stainless steel cutlery offers several advantages, including excellent durability and resistance to corrosion, making it ideal for everyday use.
