I ’ ve been using the NordicTrack G LE recumbent bike for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it ’s been a pretty great experience overall. The console isn ’ t anything fancy — it ’s pretty basic — but it gets the job done. It connects to my iPad via Bluetooth, which I love because I can track my stats and see detailed feedback during my ride. The info it gives is actually pretty helpful and motivating, especially if you ’ re working on improving your fitness. The seat is super comfy! It ’s got a good range of motion, so whether you ’ re tall or short, you can adjust it to fit just right. I ’ ve had no issues riding for extended periods, and the seat feels supportive without being too hard or too soft. The resistance feels smooth when adjusting, though I ’ ll admit the lowest level is a little tougher than I expected. It ’s still manageable, but if you ’ re a total beginner, you might feel it right away. One small thing I noticed is that the pedals feel a bit wider than what I ’ m used to on a regular road bike. While it ’s not uncomfortable, it ’s something to note for anyone who ’s particularly sensitive to pedal width. All in all, the NordicTrack G LE has been a great addition to my home gym. The quality of the Marcy NS- 652 is fantastic. The size is easy to move from storage to use. The assembly is very easy too. I had to have my husband shorten the seat an inch. I am petite. Until he shortened the seat, I had to fully extend my legs to pedal and I was not sitting on the bike correctly. The bike is exactly what I wanted to stay active and enjoy life with less hip pain. I was a little skeptical considering I already have a recumbent bike that is not quiet but figured what the heck. This bike was easy to put together, love that it folds for easy storage, love that it ’s light enough that I can move it by myself, and I am amazed at how quiet this bike is!!! I live in a condo and I use this bike a various times and no one can hear a thing! I love that the seat on this bike bigger then the seats at a spin class( because I have a much larger bottom then those seats which makes it hard to enjoy the class). Lastly I like how easy you can change the resisence on the bike! Overall, a great purchase and I highly recommend! Great on the joints!

Sturdy, nothing wobbles/rattles. Very quiet, I can watch TV on normal volume. The seat has nice cushion. Display is simple, easy to use. Assembly was more extensive than expected but easy enough for one person. I have a 27 '' inseam and the shortest setting only fits when I 'm wearing shoes, which is fine since bare foot would hurt( the peddles are spiky for grip). I would n't recommend this style( upright) over `` recumbent '' for anyone with back issues, since there's no backrest. Also this works out more than just your legs( glutes, abs, back, etc) where recumbent is just legs. The folding feature is nice but I actually do n't use it since the bike size is already compact.

This is a great trainer. It is made in the USA and the build quality is outstanding. Add to that, the unit is designed to be easy to assemble and simple to use. Clamping the bike in to the unit is a simple one motion process and the bike is firmly held. The wheel tension knob is genius! Just turn it until it clicks and you have the correct pressure on your tire. I have owned other fluid trainers, but this has to be the smoothest and most consistent I have ever used. It truly provides linear resistance that gets more challenging as your speed increases. I have not tried it with the Saris training tire yet, but the noise level with a standard road tire was minimal. The included speed sensor works well and paired immediately with the Rouvy app on my iPhone. I did have some issues mounting the sensor because the inside width of my rear hub is pretty narrow. Once I figured out how to best mount it on my wheel, I had no issues.

The bigger screen is a big improvement over the old one, and the console works very well with the new version of iFIT. An even better feature is the fan. As a 57 year old man, I ’ m not ready to sit down and get old. I ’ m 25 pounds heavier than I want to be, stiffer and slower than I want and feeling my joints every day. Seeing the resistance level on the screen, anticipating increases, pushing to get through it, because you can see you only have a few seconds more before it eases up on you. If you are looking for a standard EXERCISE bike without all the unnecessary- and more costly bells and whistles- then this is the bike for you! The only thing to note, I am about 5'10 '' and raised the seat as high as it will go, and I can probably still use an extra couple inches. So if you are taller, it might not work for you.

Putting it together required being focused, but it was fairly easy. Once together, it is doing exactly what we bought it to do: getting adequate, easily done exercise for two older folks. I ’ ve got four 45- minute segments and it doesn ’ t give me the same accomplishment from walking outdoors in that same time without turning the resistance past 8 on the 14- levels dial, but I don ’ t miss my outdoor exercise when it ’s 22 degrees and 17 mph wind gusts make walking undoable. Quality of the bike manufacturing is very good. Seat is comfortable and the pedals are easy to secure your foot( adjustable). Pedaling is quiet and the distance from seat to pedal is variable by adjusting the seat height and should satisfy most riders. The bike is very quiet when pedaling so it can be situated in any room available. Overall, A+ so far.

I bought the trainer this winter to try and step up my triathlon game in the off season. Both me and wife wife used it on my carbon road bike and her carbon tri bike. We used a new Shimano 10 speed cassette on the trainer for both my Shimano set and her SRAM set, no issues with compatibility. I would suggest you use the same chain oil/wax to not have any cross contamination using differing lubrication. As for function. I tried to use the Trax Trainer software and the Garmin Connect Software through my watch( the Trax software does sync with garmin connect, but not for battery level or a couple of other daily measurements). Leaving both workouts on there gets all the data and it mostly does n't allow excess milage, but I have seen it show up in a couple spots twice. They could improve on that. As for the Tacx software. The routes are good, but not as interactive as the peloton or other apps out there. Though I 've climbed some pretty gnalry passes throughout the word now using it. I think that's the best part about the app, the climbing portions. It also keeps it less boring, but also really easy to over train if you 're not careful. I might try interfacing it with some other software next winter but for now I 'll use the nice clear roads through the summer and fall months.

I bought this bike in January and I had never done a cycling class or been on a bike so I was hesitant because there were a lot of bikes more expensive than this one. But I have been using it for months and it's awesome, especially for the price. The handlebars and seat are adjustable to fit your height. It is easy to move around so I can wheel it into different rooms and it's not a huge machine so it can be tucked against a wall or easily stored. I live in an apartment on the second floor and this is great because it's quiet( no pounding on the floor like a treadmill.) It does n't have a ton of bells and whistles with built in screens for live classes but I watch free youtube cycling videos on my ipad and rest it on the inner handlebars easily! I got this bike as I am temporarily unable to run due to a neck injury. It was pretty simple to assemble( although some of the instructions were a little hard to decipher). All parts were in the box along with some tools to put it together if you do n't already have your own tools. SO far, I have used it daily and I find the motion is very quiet and smooth. I like the simplicity of the display and, for anyone wondering, you can reset each workout `` session '' by holding down the button and your session distance and time will reset. The bike does have an odometer so it will continue to track your entire distance overall, which I like. There is also a nice feature that the screen will toggle through all the items on the screen if you choose the `` scan '' option on the screen. Or you can just have it set to stay on distance or time so that is a nice feature to have a little flexibility. I also really like the back of the seat since, as mentioned above, I 'm dealing with a neck injury so I can sit back and not worry about needing extra support. The side handles are very nice too for when I sit back and peddle. An excellent bike for anyone looking for something without any extra bells and whistles that does what it should do at a very reasonable price.

[ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.
