Used the bag for a fall hunt in the Brooks Range, Alaska- 150 mile north of the Arctic Circle. It was warm and comfortable. Night time temps were in the low teens to maybe single digits and I was always comfortable, never wanting for more. The arm holes are nice for reading.

[ Used on an overnight in Feb. on Mount Washington, NH. Temp- 10 F, wind 50- 60 mph. Bag kept me warm. Wish I could have used arm holes, but it was too cold! This bag did the job, and ca n't wait to continue to put it through its paces. Got the long to keep my single- lined boots in the bag with me at night. At 5' 9 '', still had plenty of room.

[ I bought this bag for an expedition north of the Arctic Circle, but I have n't left yet. Despite this, I tested the warmth of the bag as well as I could on a- 9F night and was quite comfortable all night. Normally I sleep pretty cold, so I 'm very confident that it will serve my needs in the Northwest Territories next week.

[ I ’ m a 6 ’ 1 ” 195lbs man and wasn ’ t sure if I wanted the regular or long version. I went with the long and boy am I happy with it. I was just doing some winter camping and this bag is kinda like crawling into a hot tub made of down pillows. It ’s great! That night was 5 degrees with solid 15 mph gusts so easily below 0. I was snug as a bug. Quite happy with it! Yea the long size gives me the extra room as I ’ m mostly a side sleeper that likes to pull the extra around my head. I ’ ve tried the regular size and it felt a bit too constricting. 5 star great sleeping bag

[ I bought this for future, unknown trips. My nephew immediately took it out of the box and got into it. He looked so comfy I decided to try it in my bed and now I just love it and sleep with it. It OPENS on the bottom to stick your feet out. This is why I bought it. I ca n't stand sleeping without sticking my feet out to breathe lol. So, it has n't even made it outdoors yet but the quality and comfort is excellent. I bought it used on the site and it was in excellent condition as described. Has a very nice packing bag as well with straps. This is why outdoor equipment is worth paying a premium; you really get what you pay for and I highly recommend the brand.

[ Great spring and summer bag! Super soft down and silky fabric. I love the zippers to vent, especially when my feet get hot, I can open the bottom and keep warm up top. High quality zippers with extra fill around them to prevent snags and drafts. Love it! Mesh storage bag is a nice addition, but it could be bigger.

[ As far a synthetic sleeping bags go, this one seems good for the price! We constructed& designed. On first use, I do not expect that this sleeping bag will actually perform well at its comfort rating, so if you 're considering doing some serious winter camping, I would opt for a down sleeping bag maybe.

I 've had many sleeping bags in 50 years of Scouting and this one was fabulous. It was light, compressable and very warm. Zipper was flawless. I paired it with a Reactor liner to provide comfort to even lower temperatures.

I 'm not a hardcore backpack adventurer or anything, but I do love motorcycle camping, so I was looking for a low pack- volume sleeping bag that was n't outrageously expensive. I 'm also 6' 1 '', 210 lbs. so I needed something roomy enough for me to be comfortable. This bag is super comfortable. It's soft and warm and packs down nice and small for stowing in my bike's luggage. I do n't know why the reviewer Adam from Germany said it was impossible to get it back into the stuff sack, because I find it to be quite easy to get it back into the sack. It literally takes me about 60 seconds to roll the bag up and stuff it in the sack. I will say that if the temps drop into the 40s or lower, you 're going to need a bit more than this bag can offer, so I 'm going to get the liner to add that 10- 15 degrees in case it gets a little chillier when I 'm camping. But down into the 50s( Fahrenheit), with socks and sweats, I was toasty and slept great.

[ This is a great 3 season bag! Light and packable for a synthetic. Very roomy. At six feet tall, 180 pounds, 34 waist, large hips and broad shoulders, I had plenty of room to sleep on my back and side. I had no problem with length even with my air pillow tucked into the hood. The temperature rating on the bag felt good in 30°F weather, keeping me nice and warm, paired with a sleeping pad rated at 4. 1 R value. A nice soft feel and glow in the dark zipper pulls are also good bonuses.

I 'm travelling around the country, having left in mid November. I headed North first, through West Virginia and Ohio, and this bag kept me plenty warm even down in the 20's sleeping in either my car or at a campsite. [ I ’ m in the Military and I ’ ve replaced my Woobie with the Nanowave bag 4 years ago. Its ability to pack into my Ruck and cut the crisp edge off the cold is superb. I use it like a quilt to cover my body while wearing my armor. I put my feet down in it and drape the rest of it over my top half. I can jump up off the ground and stuff it away very quickly. It ’s perfect! I recommend it all the time to my coworkers. I love it.

[ Bought this for an impromptu trip after my last bag was ruined. Had a very warm night ’s sleep in Michigan ’s UP in late October. It ’s small enough to be very easily packed and the warmth/weight ratio is awesome.
5
I used this bag for a recent bike packing trip and it was amazing! It packed down super small and fit in my handlebar bag- which is impressive because it is a small size drop bar. The actual sleeping bag was perfect! Warm enough and super comfy- tons of room( though I am on the small side- 5' 2). I would 100% recommend!

[ `` Do n't fence me in '' as the song goes, and this awesome bag does NOT! Large zippered foot box allows my feet to be free! Zippered side vents for air, sweet air!! [ Very happy with this sleeping bag for warm evenings that extend into chilly nights- spring, fall and high elevation summer camping. I took this summer backpacking though Alaska and it packs down in it ’s cinch sack and is lightweight. [ I have spent almost a dozen nights in my 20- degree Trestles and I think it's great, especially when nights are in the 55 to 35- degree range. I have used it backpacking, rafting and car camping. There is plenty of hip and torso room, the zipper system is great, it's plenty roomy for me: I 'm 5- 10& 165. It becomes a warm mummy and I 'm confident with long underwear and a hat it's warm below freezing. The bag stuffs very small for a synthetic bag but retains loft well. I have one fancier$$ down bag that is better, but the Trestles is the best value. It blows away all my synthetic North Face bags from the 90s& 00s.

[ I was n't sure how this bag would work out, but so far it's super. It really is designed as described. It's quite roomy, allows one to turn and side sleep and is definitely warm enough. [ I finally got out camping this past weekend in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Overnight lows were 32 degrees. I did also use a sleeping bag liner because I was afraid I might be cold. But I was very comfortable all night long. I actually stayed in the tent from 9PM to 9AM.

[ I 'm a side sleeper so this for sure caught my attention. I have n't used it out on the trail yet but from testing around the house, it appears to be a great buy. Super comfy, nice and light, feels very warm and just a quality overall product. The only knock from a 5- star review right now is it does feel a bit snug. Wish I had a little more room around the shoulders. I am not a overly big guy, just a little thicker than the average 5' 8 '' male.

I 've used this sleeping bag for cool nights on a multiday raft trip down the Wild and Scenic Rogue River and several trailheads before big ski mountaineering objectives in the PNW. It's a great blend of lightweight and warmth needed for cool nights under the stars. I really like the expanding lower section for my bog feet( sz 15) and ability to store extra gear or clothing that might need to stay warm. The side zips work quite well to allow for easy extraction when needed. The length worked great for me at 6' 5 ''. Lots of compliments on the poppy stripes. [ Bought this bag as a lightweight down alternative to my synthetic bag. I love this style of bag so it was a no brainer. My first test on my living room floor resulted in a 2 hour nap. [ Just took this bag on a 12 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Mew Mexico. On the nights when the temperatures dipped into the 30s, this bag kept me very comfortable when zipped up properly. On warmer nights, I unzipped the bag about 30 percent to let a little air in. The best part was that the bag is extremely light and compress down very small in a compression sack to take up very little room in my backpack and could even be clipped on to the outside of the pack without any noticeable swinging while I hiked.

[ I bought this bag for tent and car camping in down to 30s temps. My 650 down fill bag did not cut it for me, so I went for the 800 Dridown bag. I am so glad I did! I 'm an athletic built 5' 4 ''( 120 lb) female, 65 y/o and this bag is perfect fit for me. I like the extra room at the feet. I have room to roll on my side if I wish.# 1, It's as warm as my 800 down fill coat and stays puffy because of the small percentage of added fill. I have n't tested it, but it's the small portion of polyester fill that makes this bag dryer than a full down bag. I found out how important it is for the bag to dry out after sleeping in a rain soaked tent which is reason# 2 for buying this great Kelty bag. This is a fantastic bag all around. The zippers work very well and have a protective ledge to run on so they do n't snag in either direction. The head piece cinches well around my head, if needed. It even comes with a stuff sack made of similar material. My only wish is that it came with a mesh storage sack. Otherwise, this is a perfect and dreamy bag!

I bought this for my daughter ’s school camping trip for the the last week of April so it was still relatively cold at night and early morning hours in the mountains of California. [ I adore this sleeping bag. I have taken it on one practice trip before a long backpacking trip, and I was very comfortable in about 50 without lots of layers. I love that you can stick your arms and feet out, or even start your morning as a little coffee- drinking caterpillar if it's dry outside. Unfortunately, it poured on our first camping trip, and the bag got a little damp( heartbreak!), but it dried very quickly when I laid it out. No problems so far!

[ The way I am 100% obsessed with this sleeping bag. As a camper, I need a durable good quality one, that will keep me warm but also allow me freedom to move. This has snaps at the top so you can keep your chest warm but your arms free and a zippered bottom so you can open up for your feet ’s freedom but also have the ability to tuck your feet in and leave it unzipped. Used this for camping at a music festival with wind gusts up to 40mph. I was cozy all night!

Very comfortable sleeping bag. Great sleeping bag for side sleepers. Roomy and don ’ t feel restricted. This sleeping bag will keep you warm at 0 c, but you may want to consider a synthetic quilt or wear a down puffer jacket for cooler temperatures to keep warm.

I ’ ve been using the Questar™ 20F/- 6C Sleeping Bag on several camping trips now, and it has exceeded my expectations every time. The warmth and comfort it provides, even in colder conditions, are impressive. The fit is cozy without feeling restrictive, and the materials feel high- quality and durable. One feature that stood out to me is the SynergyLink™ connectors, which kept the bag securely in place on my sleeping pad throughout the night, preventing any cold spots. I also appreciate the ThermoCapture™ lining that effectively reflects body heat, making this bag a true lifesaver on colder nights. Setting it up and packing it away is a breeze, and it compresses well for easy storage in my backpack. Whether I ’ m car camping or backpacking, this bag has become my go- to for any adventure where I need reliable warmth and comfort.

The COMFORT range on this sleeping bag is 32°F/0°C. So, that means that your average person will be comfortable at those temps. Simply put, this is a 3- season bag. If you 're looking for a 4- season bag, then do your research and buy a bag that is a rated comfort level for subzero temps( Polar Ranger). This is an awesome bag for what it is designed to do. Do n't buy a bag with clearly defined ratings, expecting it to perform differently... And then give it a poor review. I own 6 Therm- A- Rest sleeping bags and 2 quilts, and they all perform as rated. I do 95% of my camping in very cold temps and these bags have performed to standard.

[ COMFORT: First off let me state that this bag is not made of some super thin sticky nylon like some ultralight bags are. This very soft to the touch and extremely comfortable. I actually prefer the way it feels to my actual bed at home that we have spent thousands on. The bag lofts up nice and thick and looks very inviting and actually makes you excited to snuggle down in it for sleep. In addition, the bag is very roomy. It doesn ’ t feel constricting like typical mummy bags. If you are a side sleeper or toss and turn I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU GET THE LONG VERSION of this bag even if you don ’ t need it for height. The main reason is that the long version of this bag is also wider in the foot box than the regular length. This provides quite a bit more comfort for those of us who move around a lot at night. Even though the long bag says it ’s for 6 ’ 6 ” people I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and this allows me to snuggle down into the bag and pull it over my head for warmth as well as leaving me the option to store gear in the bottom to prevent it from freezing. Had I got the regular length it would have forced me to sleep with my head outside exposed and left no room in the foot box. TEMPERATURE RATING TEST: It ’s October now and we recently had some cooler weather move in for a couple of days so I used it as an opportunity to test the bag and my new sleep pad. According to accuweather temps dipped down to 40*. I slept outside on our deck to test this bag. First I laid down a thin blanket to prevent any damage to my thermarest from splinters or such. Next was my thermarest neo- air xlite. Finally, this bag which is comfort rated to 32* when you wear appropriate base layers. As stated above, the temps supposedly dipped down to 40* and I chose to wear nothing but my boxer briefs as I figured if I stayed warm then I should have no problem staying warm to 32* with wool base layers as the rating suggest. I can confirm that the bag worked great. No issues whatsoever. I slept all night in the bag and never got cold. Starting off the night when it was around 48* I was actually too hot and had to unzip the bag. At about 7am when temps were at their low I stayed zipped inside but stayed comfortable. The biggest surprise to me was that I didn ’ t get cold feet. I don ’ t think I have ever slept outside and not got cold feet. And this is while wearing thick wool socks. Often 2 pair of them! In this sleeping bag I wore no socks at all and my feet stayed warm. This was a pleasant surprise. I now have no worries as winter progresses that this bag will do just fine in lower temps so long as I wear appropriate clothing as suggested. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, if you like to move around at night and don ’ t like a typical mummy bag this is the one you should get. It ’s very roomy and never once did I feel confined. I rolled and tossed all over the place and stayed warm and cozy. I spent hours searching for something lighter and while you may find something a few ounces lighter than this bag it will cost twice as much and will be about a foot narrower in the foot box. I hope thermarest never stops making these bags. I want to save up for the 0* version now for those really cold nights. I now have a thermarest xlite pad, this thermarest sleeping bag, and a thermarest pillow and none of them have disappointed me. At this point I don ’ t think I would hesitate to buy anything thermarest offers if I needed it because it ’s clear their gear is well thought out and quality made.

[ The Men's Never Summer 0° Sleeping Bag( 2024) is an excellent entry- level down sleeping bag that offers a great balance of warmth, quality, and affordability. For those looking for a reliable cold- weather sleeping bag without breaking the bank, this is one of the best options available. Filled with 650- fill- power down, it provides excellent insulation while remaining lightweight and compressible, making it easy to pack for winter camping, mountaineering, or cold- weather backpacking. The water- resistant down treatment helps maintain warmth even in damp conditions, and the draft tube and hood effectively seal in heat on frigid nights. For the price, it ’s hard to beat the performance and comfort this bag offers. Whether you 're new to winter camping or looking for a solid, budget- friendly down sleeping bag, the Never Summer 0° is a fantastic choice!

[ I 've had my Kelty Galactic 30 for 5 years, and just bought a pair for my son and his wife. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck in a sleeping bag for backpacking or camping. Packs small, lightweight, and reasonable price. It has a lot of loft and is very cozy. I sleep comfortably in it down to 40 degrees and add a liner to get to the mid- 30's, so it serves me well 3 seasons. I 've thrown it in the washer and dryer several times- just shake it out well and it regains its loft. Highly recommended!

[ Have taken this bag camping twice. First time had mild night temps in the 40s and was never chilled; opening the bag a bit solved any overheating. Just got back from the second outing where the temps unexpectedly dropped to 19F. There was frost in the tent and on the bag but I was completely warm and dry. Plenty of room inside, though I could use a little less length, as my feet sometimes get chilly because I ’ m so short I can ’ t reach the bottom of the bag to warm it up. Great shoulder season bag. [ I overheat super easy and sleeping bags tend to make me pretty uncomfortable. I bought a marmot bag years ago and it was my absolute favorite. Super lightweight and compact, it keeps me warm but never overheated and there was never any issues with the zippers. I ended up loosing that bag and not buying a new one for a couple years. I finally decided to get a new bag and figured marmot would be the best place to look. It turns out not only did they still make the same bag it's not made out of more eco- friendly materials! This sleeping bag is awesome! The color is beautiful, and it's cozy, lightweight, and perfect for cooler nights. [ I brought this sleeping bag with me on my thru- hike of the Pacific Crest Trail last summer. I slept in it for 150 nights and never let me down! Great balance between weight, warmth, and price. However, I found it very narrow. I like to sleep with my legs forming a figure 4 shape, but it was impossible to do in this bag. I also rotate like a rotisserie chicken during the night and I got tangled in it a few times. A little bit cold when temperatures drop towards 0°C, especially when the bottom of the bag is exposed, as it is less insulated than the top. I had to wear my puffy for those nights or wrap it around my bum to keep it warm. Finally, I found it a bit bulky but it is overall a great product! I would recommend it to thru- hikers on a budget or anyone going on shorter trips.

[ Hands down the absolute best sleeping bag on the market. The women ’s one is slightly warmer and more filled than the men ’s one. Where my girlfriend sleeps colder than me, it ’s absolutely perfect. The women ’s and men ’s ascent zip together for couples, it packs down to the perfect size to fit into my osprey atmos ag 50 sleeping bag compartment. I ’ ve used it down to 25 degrees and it is very comfortable. Keeps you very warm Packs down zippers work better than any bag I ’ ve ever used Sides and bottom unzip so you can use your arms and legs outside of the bag

I did have a few issues where the lower zipper would come off but it was an easy fix each time. The bag is warm and very comfortable, it did it's actual job very well. It packed away very easily and I felt good being able to compress it down in it's base compression sack. It is a fabric lined interior so take that into consideration if you are a sensation person. My wife did n't enjoy the way it felt when she layed in it.

This sleeping bag is absolutely wonderful. As a climber, I almost exclusively use this bag for car camping/campsite camping. That being said, it offers exactly what I want from it. It is warm enough to deal with cold nights( I 've used it as low at 20 F without any issues), but breathable enough to not suffocate me on warmer spring nights. It's mighty comfortable, and the materials used helped me feel more comfortable in the bag( I have some sensory stuff). The only con I could think of is its pack down size: this is not an ULW or super packable sleeping bag. If every gram matters to you, this may not be the sleeping bag. For everyone outside of through hikers or backcountry folks, this is a fantastic bag!

Ordered this to replace a sleeping bag I have had for over ten years. This thing did not disappoint, first use was winter training sleeping outside at 10 degrees and I was super warm all night long. It doesn ’ t suffocate you or squeeze you like a French corset. I am 5 ’ 10 190 athletic build and had plenty of room to sleep on my side and roll. Klymit proves themselves again as my go to company for quality camping gear! Would buy this sleeping bag ten times over.

My kids absolutely love this bag! They stay super warm in the Colorado backcountry. They are 9 and 7 and fit great in the bags, and they are able to move a little without feeling confined. It is a great bag! We would definitely buy again!

Super impressed! I was sitting with this in my cart for months finally my friend got one and was impressed with the feel of the material. I love how small it packs up. The weight is on point for a 0°f backpacking bag. Im 5' 7 '' 190lbs and when inside the bag with just mypants and shirt not alot of room to move which is what you want but.... if your a little uncofratble not being able to move you might need to go with a bigger size. also if you wanted to add liners you might like the extra space. We live in Kodiak, AK always blowing and raining and this bag is what you want.

All these years sleeping bags have been approached by treating the feathers to be water resistant. How common sense and awesome is it to just have a vortex shell instead. I hope this becomes standard in cold weather bags, to have a gortex shell. Awesome!

This bag is great! I took this up to 10, 000 ft in CO for an early Nov backpacking/ hunting trip and it was perfect. This bag packs down small, is super warm, and the Gore- Tex shell kept the frost from getting the bag wet. The only downside is that it's a little loud when moving around( a weird qualm, I know) but that's a small price to pay for the Gore- Tex shell keeping everything dry.

It says 0 degree limit and 13 degrees comfort on the bag itself. I used this bag in conjunction with a 4. 4 R- value sleeping pad and Gore- Tex bivy sack for a week. It was- 2 the first night with 3 inches of snow on the ground, and this bag was still comfortable( I wore appropriate base layers as well). Other nights varied between 5 and 20 degrees, and this bag performed superbly. It is durable and packs easily. Highly recommend.

[ Bought this on sale because I needed a lower temp rated bag for cold desert nights. Used so far in the upper 30's and was very toasty( needed to vent). I 'm a very cold sleeper. [ I brought this bag on the Camino de Santiago. It gave me plenty of warmth when the temperatures dropped down to 40F without making me feel overheated in warmer temps. [ Though I have n't used it for a full cold weather camping night yet, I can tell this material will do very well in a sleeping bag. It is soft and frictionless, making it very comfortable even against bare skin. It is also moisture wicking and dries very fast, which is nice for this type of application. Since I own some pretty pricey sleeping bags, I 'm happy to have this liner to help preserve and protect them. It is very well made and a great design. Folds into a very compact bag for travel and storage

I 've purchased the older version that's the super warm ones for fall camping in Colorado and it was super warm but a little bit challenging for me as I like to poke my feet out of the sleeping bag when I run hot. This design is superb with the option to cinch the feet and the snap buttons on top, really made it much user friendly for someone like me. This material is cooling, perfect for the upcoming summer camping. Super soft material, made it very easy to sleep in. Totally would recommend!

[ for the hot summer months and for those cold nights that you need something else. i mainly use this to cool down my body when it gets too warm but need that extra layer just to stay cool, in the summer this works well with a light blanket. and for the winter i use it to keep my quilt clean but still keep myself cool if it gets too hot, it adds extra layer of warmth because of all the heat being trapped and it is very cozy for sure i love this and planning to buy more.

First of all, you NEED a liner for your sleeping bag. If you wash your bedding at home once a week—that being under ideal hygienic conditions where you shower every single day—you really do n't want that funk getting into your expensive sleeping bag! That's where a liner really helps! This liner is an upgrade for me. I 've been using a Sea- to- Summit Comfort Blend for several years, and I 've really liked that product a lot. But I thought a back- up liner might be nice. But I was really blown away with how nice the Breeze liner is! Mine is the regular Mummy style, and I really appreciate the soft, wicking material that the Breeze is constructed from. Apparently it's a similar material as the Tek towels( I think…maybe its one of the other towels?). I sleep hot, and I sweat a lot at night, so drawing that moisture off is a really nice feature. To help regulate my comfort( including at home) I usually stick my feet out of the end of the bed( and of the liner), so the opening at the bottom is actually a really welcome feature! Yeah…I do n't wander the campsite in my liner, but I suppose you could if you wanted to. To each their own! Anyhow, I really love my new liner. What WAS going to be a spare is now my go- to!

Rachel
I do n't normally give five stars, but I really like this product. I have the mummy version and love the drawstring bottom and snaps at the top. The snaps at the top mean you can have your arms free which is great for people who sleep with their hands behind or above their head. It is so easy to wash compared to a sleeping bag. I also have a Reactor liner and the Breeze liner is noticeably cooler to the touch. This is a great product for camping on warm summer nights!

[ This sleeping bag liner is genius. I never knew sleeping bag liners were a thing until we got this product. It's so easy to wash and will keep the sleeping bag clean. I never wanted to wash our sleeping bags because it's such a pain. I love how lightweight it is. I 'm a hot sleeper plus I live in Texas, so this liner will honestly be enough even without the sleeping bag most of the time. I also love the idea of being able to use it in hotels or in travel situations if I 'm concerned about cleanliness. It's easy to pack and takes up almost no space. I 'm so happy to have this liner.

[ Leveled up from my old synthetic sleeping bag to down and am super happy so far. It ’s so cozy and packs down small. I love that there ’s room for me to turn any which way and curl my legs up in this bag, it is much less constricting than a typical mummy bag. I did find that the bag didn ’ t really move with me the way I expected it to for side sleeping, so I found the hood section kind of in my way at some points. It wasn ’ t too cold so I just kept my head out and used that part as a pillow of sorts. I did also notice a bit of shedding of feathers and hope that will remain minimal over time. So far I ’ ve used it for two nights in about 40deg weather and was very warm.
