I bought one of these for my camper 3 years ago. I was looking for a different style at the time that one of my buddies had but this was all I could find the day before our next camping trip so I bought it. We realized right away that with the removal benches that we could use them for some many things from extra seating around the fire, a bench in the camper, a bench just outside the camper, as stools in a pinch and of course to use around the table when eating. As an added bonus when it rains and all our folding chairs get wet we just wipe the benches off and keep using them. Now I am taking the table the range with me and using it as makeshift shooting bench for the kids. We have used the table in our house for extra kid seating for Christmas and Thanksgiving as well. Quality wise, I have had no issues in the last three years. The only thing I do n't like is the way benches attach to the table when storing them and one of the clips that holds the bench on has broken. It still works so it is no big deal. Four can sit at the table without an issue. We have squeezed 6 kids around it but that is tight. If you need a portable table with chairs you need to buy this!

Notice that the seat is only flat, it can ’ t tilt when the back does. This matters if you ’ re going to have a heavy barbell doing incline bench, because you ’ d tend to slide down the bench under the weight. There ’s also a gap between the seat and back when the back isn ’ t upright. If that ’s uncomfortable, you can put a rolled up towel in it. Assemble it right and you ’ ll find it ’s a sturdy, lightweight bench.

The adjustable back allows me to work my chest from multiple angles, hit my rear shoulder and back with chest supported raises and dumb bell rows, and the leg attachment lets me finish off my legs after a squat work out. Con: The major issue I have with the bench is that it sits kind of high off of the ground and I have kind of short legs, so I have a hard time getting a good leg drive on my bench.

They were very clear, and each step's nuts and bolts were shrink wrapped to a labeled piece of cardboard with drawings of the included nuts and bolts. Secondly this is a very durable bench and has gotten a lot of use by the whole family. My single complaint is that I am short( 5' 3 '') and while I can use it, I would have felt better if it were an inch lower to the ground. Only three exercises, one of which does the same thing as a Roman Chair, which is crucial for the lower back; it is called Hyper Extension. It was difficult finding a foldable bench, and at a good price. This bench is a bit bulky when folded, but is very sturdy, stores away easily( under the bed if you have about 9 inch clearance?), and I have no big complaints. Very well padded. Pins when putting them in have to align just right- it doesnt exactly stop at the right spot. But it's not really an issue.

Folds up easily, and unfolds the same way. The narrow bench does not restrict my movements. A little short but I put it on a couple 2 x 6's when I need the extra heigth.

I have used this bench for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for keeping it out of the way when not used. I do not have a lot of extra space, so it gets folded after each use and put away. I was a little hesitant about buying this at first because of some reviews of taller people and the benches stability, but I have no issues after using it. I am six feet tall and find the bench to be more than adequate, if I sit down right at the end of the bench. I still have a couple of inches before my head would not be on the bench, so I still have room to move around on it. I also like the fact that the bench is not super wide. This way I am not restricted by the bench when I want the dumbbells to go lower than my chest, for a deeper stretch of the arm muscles. The other issue was whether or not it would be stable. I find this to be more than stable. I have had no issues with this bench being unstable. It is very stable. The only way that I could see that this would be a problem is if I lifted heavier weights than I am able to control, which is not recommended and not safe for you or the bench. I am 100 percent happy with this product and highly recommend this bench to anyone who wants a versatile travel or packable bench.

I read one product review that was quite concerning when purchasing this product. It seems an unlucky customer's arm bar broke from its weld an he could n't fix it. I have owned it for one month now and love it. It has many functions for a single bench and many ways to get a complete work out. So I still have a concern about the arm bar, however, the previous complainer might have just overloaded it with too much weight. I 'm a low weight, high rep kinda guy.

Overall product is well manufactured, high quality steel used in the proudhon; however, a little bit of bad hardware. Some of the aircraft nuts for the longer bolts were poorly manufacturer, the weight holding posts on the reveres walk in squat area were not properly tap and a bad welding job on the seat post bracket to not allow the bolt to be secured down tightly enough without braking the welds on the bracket.

For over four decades I have been a weight lifter and it would be fair to say I might know a few things on the topic. Because it has been so long in training I finally decided to get out of the gyms and take it home. The above named bench is one of the products I bought so I could train at home away from the crowds. Here is what I found. The instructions showed a drawing on paper for every part to be identified. Once identification is made, the instructions went just as they are written and It went together easy. The unit is stable on the floor and is a quality item in strength. I am able to do supine and incline press positions. There is a place on the slant rail to engage a full 90 degree upright position if one wanted back support for shoulders. However, when brought to this position the seat pad and the back pad conflict in the fold as both pads now touch and the unit will not lock into position. I do n't require a full upright position so I have said nothing about it to Dick's. It is a good bench and for me not worth complaining. The adjustable seat pad is great as it will keep you in the saddle and your body stable on the bench with any weight. I like it.
