I sprained my ankle but didn ’ t want to walk around in the level 3 brace all day. I picked this up not really thinking it would provide me with the support I needed, but it did. Wore it to work for 12 hour shift, on my feet all day. Kept my ankle supported and the swelling down. I picked one up for my Dad, that had ankle surgery 35 years ago. Shoes styling keeps getting lower and lower with no ankle support. These have added contour support in the interior on both sides. Easy to wash I personally use a lingerie bag and I don ’ t put in the dryer I air dry. They are holding up well maintaining their shape and socks slide over pretty easily. They allow for movement but still give moderate consistent support without bulking up the foot in the shoe. Recommend. Will buy more. Size L is what we have our son wears a 11. 5- 12 Mens shoe.
