I sprained my ankle but didn ’ t want to walk around in the level 3 brace all day. I picked this up not really thinking it would provide me with the support I needed, but it did. Wore it to work for 12 hour shift, on my feet all day. Kept my ankle supported and the swelling down. I picked one up for my Dad, that had ankle surgery 35 years ago. Gives him the extra support that helps with his soreness at the end of the day.

I stopped playing tennis in my early 60's after breaking an ankle. I purchase two of these braces and am now back on the court playing singles at age 75. I can run with confidence because of the tremendous support of these braces. I could not play without them. It does take a while to get them on but it is well worth the effort.

I 'm an avid volley ball player that severely rolled my right ankle, tearing 4 ligaments. After rehabilitation, doc said I could n't play unless I had tie up ankle braces on. Since then, I 've always worn them. They 've saved my ankle numerous times from collapsing and giving out just on transitions not even landing on another foot. I love having the straps for extra side support. The only downside is that I play A LOT and the braces wear down after a year or so. And the price is pretty high. But Hey, I can play the sport I love.

I broke my ankle and had to wear a boot for 6 weeks. I was very nervous after removing the boot and my doctor gave me an air cast to walk in. Well, needless to say it did not do much good for me. I purchased this brace and I could n't be any happier. I still have a limp being that I 've been off the crutches for only 3 days but this brace gives me the confidence I need to get back walking/running again. Only bad thing I have to say is the length of time it takes to put on but after a few times you will get a lot quicker. Give at least 3 days to break it in and it feels a lot more comfortable.

I was very skeptical about buying this at first because I mainly use ice when doing cold therapy on my ankle. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how this compression boot was able to properly ice my ankle! It was almost like having ice on it! I am a basketball player who works out 5- 7 times a week and I 've had multiple ankle injuries. This compression boot does a great job of icing everything from the mid calf down to the sides of the ankle. It does not have an ice pack going under the bottom foot part though in case anyone was wondering. HOWEVER!! Be very careful when icing with this! I accidentally did not put one of the ice packs all the way into the inner sleeve of the compression boot and I iced for 20 minutes with part of the ice pack in direct contact of my skin. Because of this I got mild ice pack burn!! It is n't that painful but I can imagine it would have been much worse if I had continued icing past 20 minutes! While there are protective sleeves inside the boot to hold the ice pack, it's important not to ice for over 20 minutes because you can end up getting an ice pack burn! This is because ice packs stay cooler longer than ice and is colder than it ice is too! That is my little tidbit of advice for anyone buying this! But overall I 'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for an easier icing session and it's one of the best investments I 've made!

I kept all ice packs in freezer for 2 hours. They were very cold but flexible enough to place in neoprene pouches. I placed a tshirt between my skin and the brace because the ice packs are very, very, very cold. Sizing was not easy to determine, But overAll a great product!!
