Its hard to leave an educated review without putting some miles on the boots. That being said, I have had my boots three weeks now. I 'm a union electrician and I had a big shutdown over labor day weekend. I wore the boots 19 hours without taking them off and I must say they are a very comfortable boot. My only complaint with these boots is that they took forever to break in. After two weeks I thought about returning them because the leather uppers were digging into my ankle so badly that I had bruises. I kept wearing them because of all of the good reviews. At about 3- 4 weeks of wear they just kind of conform to your foot. Now at 8 months they are the most comfortable shoe I own period. After a weekend of wearing tennis shoes my feet actually feel good slipping into these work boots. I can work an 8 hour shift on my feet and keep them on after work until I go to sleep and they are still comfortable. Not to mention that they are holding up great and if I cleaned them they 'd probably look new. I will be replacing these with a pair of the same boots when these finally wear out.

I 've had these boots for over a year, working 10- 12 hours a day 5- 7 days a week. I work in the elements. I have tromped through water, been on ladders for hours of the day with no arch pain, rested heavy objects on them, and put them through a good bit of everything. They still do not leak water, they are still comfortable, they have not torn at any seams and keep my feet happy. I would buy these again without hesitation and would highly recommend them to friends and coworkers. I had to replace the laces today but that is expected. They do not have to be broken in like some other boots.

The speed lacing hooks all the way up from ankle to top of boot make it easy when lacing the boot for tie up, no finagling with an eyelet at the top of the boot. The outsolels are made with heavy duty Vibram and allow for traction in slippery or rough terrain. The boots are very light in weight for the amount of boot you get. Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I 've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.

For starters, the boots look amazing. Black matches everything and 6 inch is an amazing size. The insoles are firm until you step.( I don ’ t know how) basically, I ran to a friends house in these. And I noticed every step, I the boot rebounded me giving me a little boost. But when standing still, the boots have amazing support. I got them 1 day ago and used them is the snow and ice, then wore them to work today. The only reason I gave them a 4 out of five for durability is because I haven ’ t owned them long enough to know if they will hold. But based off of the feel and finish. It seems pretty solid. I noticed creasing from running in them which means like all boots, they are gon na crack eventually. As for the functionality of them. I was on my knees stocking some low shelves and notivced the boot doesn ’ t bend as much as it could. But you can substitute that by getting a soft toe version if you don ’ t need hard toed.

So far these boots are great. More comfortable initially than the centurions where. Break in seems to be going well too. Only thing I would like to see different is for the lace hooks to be a little more open on the ones below the top ones. All of them but the first ones kinda require a bit of force to get the lace in. I do like that though for the top most ones as it keeps the laces from unraveling like the centurions would.

The question you should ask yourself is why you shouldn ’ t buy the Bull Run. The price comes in well under classic red wing and Chippewa boots and these are way more comfortable in my humble opinion. The sizing is fairly true to size with medium to thicker socks but I ’ d dize down 1/2 if wearing thin socks. I ’ m very stoked on these boots!

Great fit, easy on and off but stays put while moving around, these are definitely stretch fit, the laces seem to be decorative in my opinion. Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. The soles feel like I 'm standing on a fatigue mat even when I 'm not. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. Overall a much lighter and comfortable alternative to the traditional steel toed work boot.

I wish the tongue was attached a like higher up the boot so you can stand in deeper water but other than that they work flawlessly! I work as a full time diesel technician and occasionally have to do landscaping and construction work and these boots have held up pretty well to everything I do. The oil, diesel, break cleaner, etc have not hurt the leather nor the stitches at all. I will say I am disappointed in the insoles, being that they only lasted me about 4 months. I have had to replace the insoles quite often but mainly because I do weigh about 255 lbs and have a very wide foot. Also the hook eyelet on my left boot broke after about 6 months as well. The water proof feature has been great even for being a lace up boot. I ’ ve been I some fairly deep water( nearly covering up the entire boot) and haven ’ t had any water go into these boots or the leather. All in all these boots have been a strong and sturdy boot for what I need them for. [ Like everything danner makes it is great leather. I rock a 13 wide in sneakers and got a 12 wide for this boot. It fit snug at first especially around the top arch of the foot. After about two weeks of breakin they are comfortable but tight enough to provide appropriate traction. I think after a couple months of molding they will be on the top for comfortability.

This is my second pair. First pair didnt have flag so i got these. First pair is 6 years old holds up great and most comfortable boot ive eved owned so i bought the flag version. 6 years later Rebel Durango still makes the most comfortable boot ive ever worn out of literally hundreds of boots ive tried for low back pain. Large rubber bottoms are so so comfy for that workin mans back! So comfy i took time to write this review to show my appreciation. Thanks Rebel Durango.
