I relied on the Saucony Ride for easy/treadmill runs and the Endorphin Pro for race day. I retired my last pair of Endorphin Speed 3 after 450 miles but still use them for walks. I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. I ’ ve used this shoe on grass, dirt, pavement, and track, and it performs great on all. I ’ ve used this shoe since July, so I would estimate 100- 200 miles, and there isn ’ t too much wear. The fit of the shoe is great, love the snug feel. Not crazy amount of traction, but the hole in the bottom( where the plate is) can get some mobility out of the rocker. The DNA flash is very soft in the heel, and lessens further forward, giving soft landing and fast release. This shoe can be used of really any distance in speed. Only complaint I ’ ve had is the ankle bump it has, it gave me soreness one time, but never happened again, so it shouldn ’ t be a problem.

Amazing shoe, fast and bouncy but not squishy. Relatively stable considering this is a racing shoe. I prefer them to my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 because I recover faster after a hard workout in the Hyperion Elite 4. Elite 4 is comparably more stable than the Endorphin Pro 4. Excellent upper and ventilation. DNA Flash 2 foam does not stiffen up in the cold. I appreciate the design of the laces and how it makes it harder for them to get undone. Fit is perfect on my slightly wide feet. These shoes do n't get proper justice from some online reviewers and I do n't agree with that. I am really happy I gave them a try and they are permanently in my rotation now until I wear them down.

Superior cushioning and forefoot strike flexibility compared to my pairs of Nimbus 25& 26, and they are indeed better for both LR and tempo runs. Cushioning felt superb during 16+ mile long runs and feet/legs were far less sore the day after LRs until this shoe accumulated about 250 miles. Currently at 325 miles and cushioning is still ok and better than my newer Nimbus 26. I will try running in them during recovery runs after 350 miles.

As a 59 Year old, Marathons are my ‘ Late life crisis ’. This is my 3rd Superblast2, obviously I love them. Addressing the issues: I use the runners knot to hold the shoe and powerbeat2 for noise cancellation. Availability, Price and ColorWays are way beyond my ‘ paygrade ’. ASICS please take note This is the daily trainer, long run and threshold running shoes that transitioned as my race day shoes. I am not chasing PBs( Qualified for Boston at Chicago 2024 for my age group). I use the Mach6 for interval and Rebel4 for recovery runs. Superblast2 could well do the job. It ’s that versatile. Love the balance of cushion from the high stack and energy return from the stiffness without the risk to injury at comfortable sub4 marathons. If you are a sub3. 30 Marathoner, look for a carbon plated shoe, for everything else there is the SUPERBLAST2

Had to go half size up for a bit more length for toes but not a big issue, I have narrow feet and width is perfect. Haven ’ t ever felt a more comfortable, bouncy, carbon plated shoe. Usually carbon plated shoes hurt my feet after a few miles- these don ’ t. Just feel good to run in and they keep your feet turning over. Only complaint is little hard to get on. Also have the Mach 6 as a daily trainer and love that too. Also have the cielo road shoes- try these they are amazing with peba foam..
