Though I am a physician, I am somewhat of a physician skeptic. I had a relatively severe shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injury in college many years ago. The shoulder has never been the same, but `` tolerable ''. It had been getting worse over the past. year with significant pain, particularly with certain movements. I saw the orthopedic surgeon who recommended shoulder `` re- hab ''( physical therapy) and I was very doubtful that this would help. I read the literature that they provided me, got a set of resistance bands and started doing the exercises several times a week, as instructed. Much to my surprise and delight, my shoulder pain got much better along with my flexibility and functionality. I can now do exercises that I was incapable of doing two months ago with minimal to no pain. I was not looking forward to surgery and glad that I was able to avoid it.

I like many amateurs do not always have time to hit the range before a round of golf. However- I purchased each of the two versions, the long one for me and the short one for my wife, who is about 5 feet tall. The grip is the same for both lengths and this is a poor decision by the manufacturer. Short people( like my wife) generally have smaller hands and the grip on the short model is way too big for her. I 'll have to change it for a grip size similar to the one on her golf clubs.

I 've had the AreoPilates 610 for about 6 months. I find it very helpful in rebalancing and recovering from a serious back injury. It made a big difference. Be sure and get a few proper lessons if you are working on recovery, as you want to be building strength where its needed and work up slowly to a full out program. I am very happy with it It is wonderful to have it in the home to use every morning or evening. It folds up for storage or moving and is not too heavy also. I 'm very happy with it.

So, I decided I needed a new yoga mat because the one I had was too thick and therefore not easy to carry around. I saw this kit and I thought it was a great price for everything that it came with( but to be honest, I bought the kit for the yoga mat print that I wanted because I already have a strap and the blocks). What a great product! I really do n't understand why people complain that the mat is too slippery. There were times in class, in balance poses that required me to take a foot from the mat that it was actually `` challenging '' to make the mat unstick from my foot, seriously! If I could suggest something, it would be to have two blocks as part of the kit instead of just one considering that many beginner poses that require inversions or balancing might need two blocks instead of just one. But aside from that, I wish I knew about the kit before I purchased my other yoga stuff.

The gym I use has a kneeling assisted pull- up machine. Using this band in a vertical position allows for more core engagement during the pull- up. This is my second band. Used the first one 2- 3 times per week. Finally broke after about 2 years.
