Though I am a physician, I am somewhat of a physician skeptic. I had a relatively severe shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injury in college many years ago. The shoulder has never been the same, but `` tolerable ''. It had been getting worse over the past. year with significant pain, particularly with certain movements. I saw the orthopedic surgeon who recommended shoulder `` re- hab ''( physical therapy) and I was very doubtful that this would help. I read the literature that they provided me, got a set of resistance bands and started doing the exercises several times a week, as instructed. Much to my surprise and delight, my shoulder pain got much better along with my flexibility and functionality. I can now do exercises that I was incapable of doing two months ago with minimal to no pain. I was not looking forward to surgery and glad that I was able to avoid it.

It's a good resistance band so far. I picked up the 75 lb green band and it's pretty thick. I primarily use it for pushup resistance and having a longer arm length, I found that it provided the resistance throughout my movement. Others with shorter arms would probably have to grip the band a bit closer but I do n't think it would be a deal- breaker. I wo n't have to worry about the band's durability for quite a while as I 'm not using it all the time.

Two of 3 bands were worthless as one was cut and glued the second baby having been packaged too long would not unroll easily. Upon inspection this band had several defects which if used would imperial the safety of the user. To improve the separation a neutral membrane placed between the layers will solve the sticking. Both defective bands have been replaced after pictures were sent to the US office and the replacement bands are free of defects and perform as intended.

I 'm 62 and purchased this about 2 months ago. So far, I find it to be very good. I lift weights 3 days a week and use this Golf Forever the other 4 days of the week. It's not a `` muscle strenuous '' workout so it compliments my other routine. My weakness is with balance and flexibility so I believe over time this Golf Forever trainer will help because I 'm already seeing some benefits. Before starting it asks you what equipment you have so it can provide routines that you can do in addition to the Golf Forever trainer. I would suggest getting a good foam roller because the routines they have for it are good.

No carry case when bought from GG but I wouldn ’ t be carrying it around so it ’s meaningless. The equipment and program get results. I ’ ve had the triple handles and bought an assortment of cables ranging from 10 to 50 pounds. This means( using either one, two, or 3 cables) that I can create most combinations of total weight between 10 and 150 lbs. I use standard dumbbells in addition to these but any time I travel these just come along in a small duffel bag. Weights stay in the basement and these frequently come to the living room for quiet/safe use- just anchored to a door. Since purchasing this set a month ago, I 've used it nearly every day. I like that it was extrememly easy to set up and it does n't take up very much space- I can literally attach it to the back of my basement door and there's no other clutter to deal with. While this set only comes with one cable system, I like that I can add other cables when I 'm ready to increase the resistance level. And I do n't have to worry about it doing any damage to the door, unlike other doorway gym systems I 've looked at in the past.
