The family was getting ready for a 2 week trip to Europe. I told them we would be walking 100 miles in 2 weeks, and would need to find great walking shoes. I 've been using Superfeet insoles for decades. In ski boots, hiking boots, running shoes, etc. After trying other brands, I 've always come back to Superfeet, with the exception of Sole Performance re- corked medium insoles, but even that's a toss up. Once trimmed, the Superfeet feel good from the start and continue to serve me well for quite some time. I use them for walking distances, standing on my feet all day at work and light hikes. I walk 18 to 20 miles a week for exercise. I always wear Rykas because they provide great support in a comfortable lightweight walking shoe. Work in a lab, on my feet anywhere from 6- 10 hours a shift. These shoes continue to surprise me! I have a lot of hip pain and annoyingly picky feet. These shoes are simple yet sturdy and supportive. Love em. Some of the rubber seams can be a little loose but I make it work i. e the back of the right heel was flappy from the beginning so I wear moleskin to prevent blisters bit I will absolutely buy another pair when the time comes. Thank goodness they now make these in wide. I tried a size up in the normal width sandal and it was awful. These fit great once broken in. At first, I thought they were a tad tight, but after days of wearing them not a problem anymore.

I ’ ve been a Keen wearer for years, enjoying both shoes and sandals from the company. With summer here, I needed a new pair of flip flops( sometimes the toes just have to be free!). I took my new Keen flip flops to the coast this weekend and my toes are happy! In the jeep, around town, at the beach, and on the boat the new flops fit the bill. They have the same Keen footbed I ’ m accustomed to, the same level of traction both wet and dry, and the handle water like every other pair of Keen ’s I own. I ’ ll definitely buy these again.

This is my 5th pair of Bali Slides( 3rd since they were reissued) and I obviously love them! I just wear them in the house as I 'd probably walk out of them outside, but they are so comfortable and cute! The current version( issued in 2023?) fits differently, as I wear as size 9 in it now, but I wore a 9. 5 in the original version. There's just nothing like the Bali toe protection! I have several Bali styles from over the years. I just wish they would resurrect the old Mary Jane- type styles, like Seattle.
