The extending handle is a great feature and I really like the mesh. I would not call the mesh tangle proof but definitely a very big improvement over the typical nylon mesh. And it floats!

It's got a nice classic look, the net is soft it's short and compact as I do n't have much room in the canoe. It is wide and deep enough for a good size bass, crappie and/or a good size trout. [ My kids and I love to fish. We prefer a collapsible net, and have tried several. Most are flimsey, or hard to open/close. We had one that would sometimes collapse when you tried to land the fish. This is the best one we 've ever tried. When it unfolds and locks open, it has a very solid feel and latch- no way that is accidently coming undone. And then, with a quick twist of the friction fit handle, it will slide in to reduce length, or slide back out to extend to its full length. So cool. We 've landed 10+ pound catfish in this with no problem. If we lost it, I would buy again in a heartbeat.
