For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

I ’ ve never been consistent with a driver. I average about 250 off the tee with my 3 wood and only about 270 with my driver and only hit about half the fairways. Decided to just buy the elite mini driver 11. 5*. Wow. After 9 holes on Thursday night league and hitting every fairway averaging 265 I couldn ’ t be happier. Added 1 degree of loft. I feel like I can be more aggressive and swing down on the ball like a fairway wood. I like the larger head compared to the other new mini drivers and how much smaller it is than a regular driver. The main thing I like most is the shorter shaft. Give it a chance and it might make you replace your driver like I did.

I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

I recently got the Ping G440 LST driver 9* with a Ventus TR black 6X shaft. My swing speed is around 115 and I play to about a 5 handicap for reference. I had been gaming the Callaway AI Smoke TD with same shaft. I had always enjoyed Ping woods in the past but had strayed away from them in the past 3- 4 years. I am so happy I went back. The feel of this driver is great. For a “ low spin ” head, it is very forgiving. Simply as I can say it, it is easier to hit. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. I am also impressed with the Lin Q shaft it is easy to swing and it really stable. On top of that it looks awesome and sets up nice at address. If you looking for a great driver look no further.

I tend to hit down on the ball and spin it more then I should. I play a low ball flight and a low spin ball. Works great in the spring summer when it's fast and firm. Winter time I need forgiveness and carry and I get that with this driver

An absolutely fantastic club that everyone can benefit from having in their bag. I now have both the Sim2 and the Sim2 Max. Both clubs are long and forgiving with the Max being better on off center strikes. When fairways are tight, I 'll be using the Max. When it's bombs away, I 'll be using the Sim2.

I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. On my first trip to a driving range and prior to making adjustments to weights I had an unusual for me hook. Once I got the weights properly placed, I was able to get that straightened back out. Now I just need find the best face angle for my swing. I played it on a tight course yesterday and it did n't let me down. I was getting good distance and kept the ball in play

I own a G425 Max driver but traded in some other clubs to get the G430 Max 10k. It came with a Hzrdus 60g shaft, but I found that the 55g Alta CB from my G425 felt better and hit straighter. Feel and Distance are similar to the 425 but off center hits have a tighter dispersion with the 430 max10k. I do n't live near a fitter so it was fortunate that I had the other shaft. Fitting is very important especially with driver. This club wo n't be great for you if you are n't fit properly.

I have n't had the chance to play a round outside with this new driver yet, but the simulator numbers sold me. It's incredibly forgiving, low- spin, and pretty much the perfect driver at the moment. I went with the Black Chrome Tour shaft.
