These will likely be my golf shoe of 2021. Yes, I get a few pairs of new golf shoes every season. I walk the course and play about 100 rounds so by the end of the season, the mid soles have compressed and they need to be retired, or else my feet and knees hurt. I bought one pair of these and they were excellent in all aspects. They have classic good looks, fit beautifully, have great traction on all surfaces, and are incredibly comfortable walking the course. They ’ re easy to clean, which I do after every round. I like them so much that I ’ ve now purchased three different colors and will likely just go for all four. They also didn ’ t have any break in period, perfectly good to go straight onto the course right out of the box. So far they seem to be durable, but let ’s give them a full season to prove it. I haven ’ t worn them in wet conditions, but I have been on the course on dewy mornings and evenings, and so far they have kept my feet dry. These may be my favorite FootJoy shoes ever — and I have lots of their models — even better than the Flex, which were my favorites a couple seasons back. I usually wear a wide shoe, but the mediums worked just fine for me.

I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

I got these for my papa as a late fathers day gift. He works at a big plant in Donaldson and he wears them every day.( Even though they change in the locker rooms anyway.) He wears them whenever we go shopping, out to eat, anywhere! When you first get them though, make sure you wear socks above the ankle, they will rub your heels! I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. As soon as I received Merrell's email about these several weeks ago, I was intrigued. I really liked their look and style; plus being waterproof was also a benefit. As soon as I saw that they had gone on Merrell's Holiday discount, I grabbed a pair at a great price. I 've been wearing Moabs for years and they have all been exceptional. I did notice that the footbed under the ball of my foot seemed to be a bit thinner than my other Moabs. However, it might simply be that these Moab 3 Luxe have a more aggressive tread. Either way, after a day or so the footbed cradled to my foot, and I 've been delighted. I still do need to get used to the newer thinner slightly flatter laces, and do wish they were a few inches longer.

I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. After a few days of break in, they are super comfortable. The quality is awesome. I hate shoes where the glued sole comes loose and starts flapping. These are made of heavy boot leather and the stitched goodyear welt means they wont come loose and can be resoled when you wear them out. For the price I DEFINITELY recommend these shoe/boots

I 'm new to golf, started playing last summer and have just begun getting more serious about playing. Wanted to get a pair of golf shoes so I went into golf galaxy and tried on some options, but so many models felt narrow and stiff. I prefer a wide shoe and even the wide sizes did n't feel wide enough in the toes for me with other brands. But when I tried these on there were exactly what I was looking for. The toebox is very roomy and does n't feel like they 're constricting my feet. The leather is a soft, pliable leather that moves well and does n't feel stiff. Comfort wise they are great. So much so that I 've been contemplating buying the trainer version of these shoes for everyday wear. I went a 1/2 size down. I 'm a true 10. 5 but found their 10. 5 was a little big for me, so went with a 10 and they fit like a glove. Waterproofing is good. Wore them for an early morning round with dew on the ground and my feet stayed dry. If you 're looking for something that has a wider fit, is comfortable, and does n't feel stiff then these are a great option.

I was in the market for a no lace, low cut outdoor shoe. This Merrell shoe is comfortable and true to size. It is said to be waterproof, but I have not been able to test that out yet. I am a mechanic and have had these boots for about two years now. got new insoles about a month ago because the original ones flattened out. my back used to hurt before i got these boots but does not anymore. i ’ ve tried ariats to danners and have never found the one boot that has ever been comfortable to wear for long periods of time until i tried these. the “ non slip ” outsole really help when there is rogue spilled coolant or oil on the ground and the slip on feature helps when you need to climb inside a car in an awkward position really quick and just need to slip off the boots so you don ’ t get the car dirty. i am buying the chelsea version of these to wear casually because these boots are just the best.

These are a great slip- on shoe. No its not as easy due to the SOFT COMFORTABLE top of the heal, better than the harder lip on Sketchers.
