[ This es exactly what I needed. The problem I saw with the Kammock brand was it shortens your hammock lengh. That would be fine for sitting but I wanted something for sleeping in all night. I used this and it worked with my ENO rain tarp. The only caution with this stand is your but is quite close to the ground. When using an under quilt I have to connect to the higher loops so it does n't touch the ground. It has worked great for camping.

[ My backyard does n't have any trees, so when I got this for my birthday, I was STOKED. Honestly I set it up inside my house when it first came in because it was storming outside. I can set it up by myself, but usually need help when I want to move it, just to avoid causing damage to anything. It fits me, my boyfriend& my dog comfortably. It sits lower to the ground than I imagined, but it makes getting in and out super easy. This was really easy to install. Be sure to look closely at the pictures! The text descriptions were almost no help. How do you `` dress '' a pulley anyway? This makes `` having '' a kayak available to everyone because `` where do you store a kayak? '' is probably the one reason more people do n't have one!

I stack two kayaks on each other and pull them up together. I 'm probably getting close to the max weight that way but it works for my situation. Hardware is sturdy. Rope seems soft but has n't worn out after a few years use. Just something I keep an eye on. Works well. After all this time I expect the hardware to continue to be robust and the rope is doing better than expected. The rope may be intentionally done that way to help with the auto lock feature which is great when you ate toed and pulling up heavy loads. I 'd buy another one without hesitation.

My canoe is finally out of the way when not in use. I love this. It was easy to install and handles the canoe perfectly. I do agree with other reviews about the strap, though. I ended up ditching the strap because I was able to connect the hooks right on to the seat. Up, up and away!

[ I have used this hammock system extensively while doing field work in remote locations of the South American rainforest. Setting up the system takes a bit of practice( you want to make sure the tarp is taunt and set up correctly so you do n't accidentally flood your hammock) but will get significantly easier over time. I have now purchased two sets for me and my sister for private use. Especially important here in FL: the net does not only keep mosquitoes away but is also( mostly) no- see- ums proof. I recommend wrapping the cord of the insect net over the `` end bits '' of the net and around the hammock strap to make sure its tight to prevent the nasties from crawling in.

[ This is a great lightweight hammock. It feels sturdy and durable and is easy to set up. The stuff case is sewed to the hammock so not only will you not lose it, but you can also use it as a pocket to put your water bottle or phone in. You do need to buy the tree straps separately, which was a little surprising to me, but all in all it's a great hammock that I intend to bring with me at every opportunity.

[ I bought this for my little brother. He ’s super outdoorsy for a preteen! The hammock is lightweight and set up is simple enough for him to arrange on his own. Plus he loves the camo as it apparently makes a good hideout for his nerf gun wars? Idk. Only regret i had would be if the ropes to set up we ’ re a bit longer.

[ As a longtime hammock backpacker, I was n't convinced that I could forgo my sleeping pad, guilt and double hammock for a hammock combo. But after several initial fall nights, I am now excited about dropping a few pounds for the simplicity of the Evolution. The design is well- thought out and the overall quality is good. Did not test the 20 degree rating, but my nights were warm with temps in the low 40s. The Evolution packed relatively small with a compression bag( replaced the factory version for a lighter version), and left a lot of exact space in my pack. Would like to see the next version with a higher rated down. Overall the Evolution was a great purchase and looking forward to testing the 20 degree rating.
