This is a great skillet set for home or camp use. You can use the pans individually or combine them for dutch oven cooking. Also can be used on the stove top, or in the oven. I have made fried chicken, deep dish pizzas, cornbread, apple pie, frittatas, stir fry and breads in this set so far. I have used these almost daily, and have since purchased a few other sized lodge skillets. You have to cook with a lower heat than your traditional non- stick pan and have to use a bit more oil, but the more you use it the more it becomes seasoned and acts more like a non- stick pan. Patience is key with these. The handles do get hot, so pick up a set of handle mitts that lodge makes.

I tried and tried to find this particular combo cooker on many other websites and in man other stores. It was surprising to me that a sporting goods store would be the only one to have it in stock( even over the manufacturer!) AND have it at the best price, but that's exactly what happened. Within a few days, I had my pan and am baking the best bread I 've ever made. Thanks Dick's!

Wow you do not need to go to the forest to have a real outdoor barbecue, you have it in your own back yard real ranch/mountain cooking love it. I got one for my husband as a gift and one for my neighbor as a xmas gift, they both love to do dutch oven cooking so this is like heaven to them.

I gave the rating of 5 stars but really 4. 5 stars if they made an attachment that you could hang a pot or kettle from then it would be a 5 star. With that said I truly love this setup I have cook eggs pancakes sausage beacon tortilla. It's has seasoned will. I 've been using it on camping trips and plan on using it at home. I 'm going to replace my outdoor metal fireplace with a fire pit so I can use it instead of my BBQ. I like how well it works with wood. I have told all of my friends and family.

i bought this to use when the wife and i go camping. I have use charcoal and gass cookers my whole life. I am ready to get rid of all my Bar- B- Q's and just use this. Pre seasoned out of the box, sprayed some oil on it, put it to fire, pulled it off, let cool, sprayed again before cooking, and BAM!! Amazing food, didnt stick, HUGE FAN OF THIS GRILL!!!!

I use this grill for multi- day hikes. I augment my backpacking stove with this grill, especially when I make a fire pit and decide to cook over the pit. The grill works well when using a small layer of charcoal or firewood since there is n't enough height for larger pieces of wood. This is a good purchase and will bring it with me on multi- day hikes.
