I decided to buy this little lantern for camping and power outages when I realized that I could buy 3 for the price of 1 of the brighter and fuller- featured( and heavier!) lanterns I was considering. Rather than buy a rechargeable model, I decided it was more economical to simply stock up on rechargeable batteries that will power all of my lanterns, headlamps, and pocket flashlights. I love the small size, weight, and “ infinite ” dimming. Hung “ upside down, ” it does a great job of lighting my tent.
