[ I love the Ampex rechargable mini lantern. It is very bright for how small it is and fits in your pocket. I love that it is rechargable also. I have a solar powered battery pack that I can charge my mini lantern with while out camping. Definitely worth it!!!

Excellent size, weighing 100 grams. The rubber feels very high quality. It can be hung up, placed on a surface without slipping thanks to the rubber base, and even positioned at an angle using the hooks. The moonlight mode is not at all bothersome; it's super dim. The red light is also very pleasant and not at all irritating. It has three LED battery indicators. I appreciate the locking switch to prevent it from turning on during transport, although it's not really necessary because turning it on requires a lot of force — too much for my liking, which is the only negative point I can mention. Another positive aspect is the price. There's nothing else like it at this price.

[ The Ampex 300L rechargeable mini lantern offers both convenience and functionality in a compact package. One of its standout features is the rechargeable battery, allowing users to save on disposable batteries and reduce waste. The lantern emits a bright and reliable light, making it suitable for various outdoor activities or emergency situations. Its compact size allows for easy portability and storage. However, the lantern's battery life may be a drawback for extended use, requiring frequent recharging. Overall, the Ampex 300L is a solid choice for those seeking a portable lighting solution with the added benefit of rechargeability.

These are the best propane lanterns our Boy scout troop has ever used. Parts are easy to get and change when necessary. I recommend coleman products across the board. We have tents that we have been using for 12 years and our twenty year old stoves are just now starting to be replaced. You can not go wrong with Coleman.

We like the propane/self lighting feature. Lantern is excellent. Will look at a stove using same fuel in the future.

Coleman is great
I always try to get Coleman products since I know them and they have always made a great product or given great customer service when the product broke. This is a great easy to use lantern and brings me back to my Scouting days. I however only went to Dick's because I had a gift card, as usual I found the same product cheaper elsewhere.

The campfire mode is actually useful! Other than that, provides enough light for a small group to hangout at night while still being quite light and small.

Have yet to be able to try it in the wilderness but so far seems like a perfect little light! Easy to change modes and dim and still gives off lots of light( but not too much to where the camping neighbors get annoyed). Priced fairly and would make a nice Christmas present!

When choosing a high lumen lantern, consider features such as brightness levels, battery life, and durability. Look for lanterns with adjustable brightness settings to customize the light output based on your needs. Additionally, ensure the lantern is made from sturdy materials to withstand outdoor conditions.
High lumen lanterns are ideal for a variety of situations, including camping trips, emergency preparedness, and outdoor events. Their bright light makes them suitable for illuminating large areas, making them great for group activities or when you need to navigate in the dark. They can also be useful during power outages at home.
High lumen lanterns typically provide significantly brighter light than traditional lanterns, enhancing visibility in dark environments. They often use modern LED technology, which is more energy-efficient and longer-lasting than older fuel-based options. This makes high lumen lanterns a better choice for extended use and outdoor adventures.
Many high lumen lanterns are designed with portability in mind, featuring lightweight materials and compact designs. Some models may also include handles or hooks for easy hanging, making them convenient for outdoor activities. Always check the weight and dimensions to ensure they fit your travel needs.
When selecting a high lumen lantern, consider whether it operates on batteries, rechargeable power, or fuel. Battery-operated lanterns offer convenience and ease of use, while rechargeable models can save you money in the long run. Fuel-based lanterns may provide longer burn times but require more maintenance and careful handling.
