Excellent size, weighing 100 grams. The rubber feels very high quality. It can be hung up, placed on a surface without slipping thanks to the rubber base, and even positioned at an angle using the hooks. The moonlight mode is not at all bothersome; it's super dim. The red light is also very pleasant and not at all irritating. It has three LED battery indicators. I appreciate the locking switch to prevent it from turning on during transport, although it's not really necessary because turning it on requires a lot of force — too much for my liking, which is the only negative point I can mention. Another positive aspect is the price. There's nothing else like it at this price.

[ The Ampex 300L rechargeable mini lantern offers both convenience and functionality in a compact package. One of its standout features is the rechargeable battery, allowing users to save on disposable batteries and reduce waste. The lantern emits a bright and reliable light, making it suitable for various outdoor activities or emergency situations. Its compact size allows for easy portability and storage. However, the lantern's battery life may be a drawback for extended use, requiring frequent recharging. Overall, the Ampex 300L is a solid choice for those seeking a portable lighting solution with the added benefit of rechargeability.

Purchased to replace a years- old emergency light. I live in an area that is subject to frequent power outages and needed a spare light for home, and wanted one without the need to buy tons of extra batteries. I love the WeatherX lantern's features, different light modes, and that it can function as a rechargeable power bank. The charging lights are cute and easy to understand, as are the different modes. Very happy.

This item has it all for the average camper. Multiple modes on the lighting options for any given situation. And the added fact that i can charge any USB device is a lifesaver for remote locations. The fact that the rechargeable batterie offers 70 hours of light time means it can last for days if needed. Carabiner clip and magnets offer hands free mounting options. A must have for any camper!

These are the best propane lanterns our Boy scout troop has ever used. Parts are easy to get and change when necessary. I recommend coleman products across the board. We have tents that we have been using for 12 years and our twenty year old stoves are just now starting to be replaced. You can not go wrong with Coleman.

Coleman is great
I always try to get Coleman products since I know them and they have always made a great product or given great customer service when the product broke. This is a great easy to use lantern and brings me back to my Scouting days. I however only went to Dick's because I had a gift card, as usual I found the same product cheaper elsewhere.

I recently bought this solar power bank and am very impressed! It is compact and works very well!! The light is very bright and it charges fairly quickly with the usb- c. The pad for charging my phone charged at a slower rate but still charged. I would recommend this product in a power outage or for short term needs.

When selecting a compact camping lantern, consider features such as brightness levels, battery life, and weight. Look for lanterns with adjustable brightness settings to suit different needs, from reading to illuminating a campsite. Additionally, a lightweight design is essential for easy transport, while a long battery life ensures you won't be left in the dark during your outdoor adventures.
Durable camping lanterns are typically made from materials such as high-quality plastics, aluminum, or rugged rubber. These materials provide resistance to impacts and weather conditions, making them suitable for outdoor use. It's also beneficial to choose lanterns with water-resistant or waterproof ratings to ensure they can withstand rain or splashes.
The right size of a compact camping lantern depends on your specific camping activities and group size. For solo trips or small groups, a smaller, lightweight lantern may suffice, while larger groups may require a more powerful option for adequate illumination. Consider how much space you have in your gear and how much light output you need for your campsite.
Rechargeable camping lanterns offer several advantages, including cost savings over time and convenience. They eliminate the need for disposable batteries, making them more environmentally friendly. Additionally, many rechargeable models provide consistent brightness and can often be charged via USB, making them versatile for various charging options during your travels.
Compact camping lanterns often come with multiple lighting modes, including high, medium, low, and sometimes strobe or SOS modes. These options allow users to adjust the brightness based on their needs, whether for setting up camp or creating a cozy atmosphere at night. Some models also feature colored lighting options for added versatility.
Yes, compact camping lanterns are versatile and can be used for various types of camping, including car camping, backpacking, and even emergency preparedness. Their lightweight and portable design makes them easy to carry, while their brightness options cater to different environments, from well-lit campsites to remote areas. However, it's essential to choose a lantern that matches the specific conditions of your camping trip.
