This is another one of my go- to lures. I find it to be very versatile, I use it as a wake bait or twitch and rise presentation; or just straight crank in. Either way this bait works for me for Slime Gators or Bass. the colors i found best are gold prism black bars orange belly, on my lake back home brook trout funnel into the lake where the Slime Gators wait for them i find that color match's the food source best.& when I 'm fishing Lake Erie or Ontario blue back either silver flash or prism works for me thanks for another great lure!!

I have run a shad style from a competitor for years. When these came out, I gave them a try, and they flat- out caught fish. They come out of the box tuned and run straight. They come in a good selection of colors, and the paint holds up after catching many fish. But what's best about these lures is no more bent or broken hooks. The strength and sharpness of the hooks are impressive. I one hundred percent recommend these!

Frequently Asked Questions For High Speed Trolling Lure

When selecting a high speed trolling lure, consider features such as the lure's shape, size, and action in the water. A streamlined design helps reduce drag, allowing for faster speeds without compromising performance. Additionally, look for lures with vibrant colors and patterns that can attract fish effectively.

High speed trolling lures are typically made from durable materials like plastic, metal, or a combination of both. These materials are chosen for their ability to withstand the rigors of high-speed trolling and resist wear and tear from saltwater environments. Additionally, some lures may incorporate reflective finishes to enhance visibility underwater.

High speed trolling lures are effective for targeting a variety of fish species, including larger game fish such as tuna, marlin, and wahoo. The speed at which these lures are trolled can mimic the movement of prey, making them attractive to predatory fish. Understanding the specific habits and preferences of your target species can help enhance your success.

The optimal trolling speed for high speed lures can vary depending on the type of lure and the species of fish you are targeting. Generally, speeds between 6 to 12 knots are effective for many high speed lures. Experimenting with different speeds during your fishing trip can help you find the most effective pace for attracting fish.

High speed trolling lures are particularly effective in open water conditions where fish are actively feeding. Ideal scenarios include times when fish are chasing baitfish or during periods of high activity, such as early morning or late afternoon. Additionally, considering water temperature and current can help determine the best conditions for using these lures.

High speed trolling lures offer several advantages, including the ability to cover larger areas of water quickly and effectively. Their design allows for faster retrieval, which can trigger aggressive strikes from predatory fish. Additionally, these lures often mimic the erratic movement of fleeing prey, making them more enticing to fish compared to traditional lures.
