Caught five largemouth bass( 15 ''- 17 '') in less than three hours plus several others that were between( 12 ''- 14 '') that we turned back due to size restrictions. Fantastic product. Doesnt get caught up very easily. Me and a buddy went back to the store and bought several more.

I love this frog, got smashed! The only complaint I have is the length of the skirt, would be nice if skirt was pre trimmed other than that great bait????????????????

I fish frogs a lot in Indiana and Minnesota in the summer and spend my winters fishing in Florida. This bait has the best hook- up ratio I have ever used. And I have tried them all. A great buy and a dynamic bait. Caught a lot of big 'uns on this bait.

I would first cut off about an inch of the legs. You will then have the best frog on the market. The hook up ratio is much higher than the much more expensive frogs.

In cold waters this will make the bass move around and be more active to the illusive top water frog, I would recommend this frog series to anyone.

Best smallmouth bass plastic lure of all time!! I would without a doubt choose these over plastic tubes any day. Works in cold and warm water, nice overcast or bright sunny day, river or lake. Does n't matter how outside is, these will produce big trophies. If you have n't rig one of these up on your line, you 're missing out!

Most of my success has been on these baits. Regardless of the body of water I 've caught fish on them. They look so real that I went to pick up one I thought I dropped and found out it was the real thing. Now if I could only find them locally. If they are discontinued, I 'll be very disappointed.

The local tackle shop can not keep these lures in stock basically because I purchase them all! Without a doubt the best smallmouth bass lure I have found!

This is a highly productive craw, works great for smallies and walleye also. My favorite go to softbait.

Frequently Asked Questions For Hollow Body Baits

Hollow body baits are a type of fishing lure designed to mimic the appearance and movement of live prey. Their unique construction allows them to float on the water's surface, making them particularly effective for targeting fish in shallow waters or around vegetation. When retrieved, these baits create a realistic action that can entice fish to strike.

Hollow body baits are ideal for various fishing situations, especially in freshwater environments like ponds, lakes, and rivers. They excel in areas with heavy cover, such as lily pads or submerged vegetation, where their design allows for weedless presentations. Anglers often use them for targeting species like bass, which are known to be attracted to topwater lures.

Hollow body baits are typically made from durable materials such as soft plastics, which provide flexibility and realism in movement. These materials are often designed to withstand the rigors of fishing, including bites from fish and exposure to various water conditions. Some baits may also incorporate scent or color enhancements to increase their effectiveness.

Choosing the right hollow body bait depends on several factors, including the type of fish you are targeting, the water conditions, and the time of year. Consider the color and size of the bait, as these can influence its visibility and attractiveness to fish. Additionally, think about the specific fishing techniques you plan to use, as some baits are better suited for certain methods than others.

Yes, there are various styles of hollow body baits, each designed for specific fishing scenarios. Some are designed to mimic frogs or other surface prey, while others may resemble baitfish or crustaceans. The differences in shape, size, and action can affect how they perform in the water, so it's important to select a style that aligns with your fishing strategy.

When using hollow body baits, it's important to consider seasonal changes that affect fish behavior. In warmer months, fish are often more active and may respond better to topwater presentations. Conversely, during cooler months, fish may be less aggressive, so adjusting your retrieval speed and bait selection can help improve your chances of success.
