I got the color closest to our natural crawfish. Bass really inhale this lure. Dives deep enough and works well around docks as long as there is a reasonably clean bottom. Did not have to tune this lure as it runs straight right out of the box. Retrieve and pause works the best. Most hits on when the lure is stopped.

Da big fish Thomas
Excellent crank bait.. Perfect tight swim pattern.

I fished the bluegill color because that's the primary food source for the bass in my like. It always catches fish. Buy 2, you ca n't go wrong..

I have caught big bass with the DT10. So far 6lb is biggest. I run it thru the tops of brush about 6- 8'. I have many Rapala's and two of a few and this is one of them. I like the chartreuse and brown for stained water.
$9.99
Slightly improved action than rattling rapala. Sometimes spinning around when you cast it against the wind. ... Can cast really good even with a bait caster and is fairly aerodynamic, lands straight and belly down `` 99% '' of the

This is a great all around lure. I buy it in the uv green tiger and it kills on days when nothing else works. I have caught almost every type of freshwater game fish in my area south eastern NY with this lure including but not limited to trout, bass, pickerel, muskies and perch. This is an essential part of an anglers tackle box.
5
TheJoker
I like this little crankbait. Casts far and I just rip it out of grass and brush. You can catch bass with this thing. I got mine in the Orange Tiger UV.
5
HaiZack
Definitely my go to lure. If you just wan na catch a fish tie one of these on. Its small but VERY loud for a tiny lipless crankbait. Can cast really good even with a bait caster and is fairly aerodynamic, lands straight and belly down `` 99% '' of the time. I use this for both salt and fresh water. Ive caught panfish of many sizes along with bass, chain pickerel, crappie, white+ yellow perch, red drum, baby striper barely longer than the bait to 20+ inchers. Its just a fish catcher! Colors I mainly use for this are helsinki shad and blue chrome( pure personal opinion but Im sure all the colors work). Im trying the pink tiger next! Random: This was one of the first rapala lures Ive ever bought back in the day( Im only 18, lol) and it quickly became a lure I always had faith in. Whenever I was feelin one of those `` not so serious '' kind of fishing days Id always have at least one of these in my mini tackle crate.

The Rapala Jointed Shad Rap crankbait is my go to lure when it comes down yo fishing. When the fish are not biting I tie this baby on and she always seems to bull through. This bait is amazing at enticing the bass to bite.

Possumbait
Great crank bait-- effective with smallmouth bass, rockfish and redeye. use it almost exclusively for smallmouth!
5
FisherJ
The jointed shad rap has caught me largemouth when others failed. It floats, dives quickly, and suspends. When you learn a proper technique for retrieval, you will surely catch fish. I recommend the perch color.

Runs true, dives down to about twelve feet trolled and has great suspended action. Fishes as well as baits costing twice the price.

I own a number of strike king lipless crank baits. And have had moderate success with them. This was my first purchase of one with the tungsten 2- tap. On my first boating trip of the year. The bite was slow on the Reservoir. The strike king 2- tap in the chili craw pattern got my only bite of the day. A Maryland PB smallmouth. Though it was only 1 fish. I feel confident that there will be more to follow this spring.

crankybass
The first time I used this lure I caught a 24 '' northern pike. The lure preformed well, took the abuse, and I have actually bought a second one in case of loss. The color pattern I purchased was the Gold/Black Back.
5
Hawg Hunter
Bought this bait to get ready for the Fall shad migration on my home lake. They have not totally moved up yet, but I still picked up a few bass plus one 12 lb catfish. The bait ran true out of the package& gives off a lot of vibration. I get best results by sweeping my rod sideways, quickly reeling up the slack& then repeating.
$9.99
Best crankbait i have used, it dose n't matter largemouth, white bass or crappie it catches them all. ... The best lipless crank bait by far durable paint that does n't chip or fad and with rapala all there baits are the best
5
Triton Man
As the name implies, I 've had some really good success with this lure by letting it settle to the bottom and then rippin' it and letting it fall to near the bottom before rippin' it again. I 've caught muskie, pike, walleye, smallmouth and largemouth bass on it. The walleye and smallmouth seem to like it the best. I have n't narrowed it down to one color either, mostly just the retrieve method. They are worth trying.
5
Iceman42
I 've used it a little every time I have went out this year, and it's never let me down. I 've gone 12 times this year and caught a bass on it 7 times.
5
sarc
Distinctive rattle thats different than other rattle baits. It deflects off of weeds nicely and really triggers a reaction bite.
5
thefishingboss
At first when i got this it was just a tackle filler but then one day the bass and other predetorial fish were just smashing bait fish in the weeds off a drop off so i decided to swim it slow off the shallow and then heavilly crank it off tye drop off and then boom a three pound small mouth just smashes the lure.
5
TurtleSF
Does what it says. Rip hard and you feel tons of vibration and resistance. Crank slower and you can see your rod tip bouncing. If you 're looking for a rip bait this is a good one to try.

It's a great medium size bait for ice fishing, when the bigger rattling baits are too much and the nano ones are just too small to get a hook in.

The King Rage Tail Baby Craw is my go to bait in the upper Susquehanna River. Rigged a 2/0 weighted swim bait hook my friends and I were able to regularly catch upwards of 35/40 small mouth bass with a few walleye and rock bass thrown in. I fish it from a boat or shore, works well both ways.
5
KrisMD
One of my favorite trailers for 1/4 oz jigs and I do use them alone TR. Very productive in either presentation.
5
Zac t
It has great action for when the fish are more aggressive, and I believe scent compliments it very well because I 've used this craw vs another brand( no scent) on a jig and they swallowed it as soon as I made the switch. I 've bought many more since then!
5
Mdunnuck
Favorite way to rig this is on a ned rig, perfect for shallow/clear creeks or river for smallmouth or pike, in a grn pumpkin or watermelon color. Cant go wrong! Or even as a flippin jig or swim jig trailer.

SeekretSpotNJ
At a full ounce, and with it's cylindrical shape and One Knocker rattle system... This product casts farther than just about any topwater lure on the market... It also walks the dog as well if not better than the original Spook... It is very simple to start up and has a decently wide zig- zag pattern on a snap retrieve... HOWEVER, The Chug'n Spook was designed to have all the above properties like the Original Zara Spook with the added feature of being a spitting bait as well... Sadly it fails as a chugger... The mouth- cup is deep and appears as though it would throw alot of water... However it does not and I believe this is due to the width to depth ratio of the mouth- cup... That being said I do believe the deep- cupped mouth does however help improve the walking action and ease of use of this bait... The hooks and components are stout... The finish is as amazing as usual... and the overall make up of the bait feels solid and looks great... This is a great topwater lure for bass and other species of freshwater predator fish... As well as light saltwater duty for Reds, Snook, or Small Tarpon... Overall I love this lure... But mostly because of it's size and ability to walk... That being said I would definitely recommend it as an alternative to the Super Spook and other topwater baits... However if I want a walking bait that spits I will just use rod tip and retrieve techniques to walk another more traditional pencil shaped popper.

Rattle baits are fishing lures designed to create noise and vibrations in the water, attracting bass and other fish. They typically feature internal rattles that produce sound when retrieved, mimicking the sounds of distressed prey. This auditory stimulation can provoke a predatory response from bass, making them more likely to strike.
The effectiveness of rattle baits can vary based on fishing conditions such as water clarity, temperature, and weather. In murky waters, larger and louder rattle baits may be more effective, while in clear waters, smaller and more subtle options might work better. Additionally, the time of year and bass behavior can influence which type of rattle bait to use.
When using rattle baits for bass, varying your retrieve speed can be key to success. A steady retrieve may work well, but incorporating pauses or erratic movements can trigger strikes. Additionally, targeting areas with structure, such as rocks or submerged vegetation, can increase your chances of attracting bass.
Rattle baits are typically made from durable materials like plastic or metal, designed to withstand repeated strikes and rough conditions. The internal rattles are often made from metal or glass, providing the necessary sound and vibration. The choice of material can affect the buoyancy and action of the bait, influencing its effectiveness in different scenarios.
Seasonal changes can significantly impact bass behavior and their response to rattle baits. In the spring, as bass move to spawn, they may be more aggressive and responsive to rattling lures. During summer, bass may seek cooler depths, where specific rattle baits can be effective. Understanding these seasonal patterns can help anglers choose the right rattle bait and fishing strategy.
