The original skate was too small I got online with Dick's Chat line and within a few minutes a return was processed and a replacement skate was ordered in the correct size. I received the replacement skate in 3 days and the return slip was emailed to me the same day. Dick's went ahead and shipped the skate without me having to purchase the same pair and before they received the incorrect pair back in stock. This was not Dick's error but mine, I ordered the wrong size. The skate is great it looks like a good quality of material and is what I expected. For sporting goods Dick's will get my business.

These were for my two and a half year old grandson. They come with a stamped steel blade that ha no lateral traction. But with a flat file you can ad an edge by filing at slight angle until there is an mildly sharp edge on the out side edge of each blade. It really changes these to a usable skate and my little buddy was truly skating around the rink on his own. We had to pull him off after an hour and a half when the session was over. He absolutely loved it. They stayed on his feet pretty well, until the wing nut losened up a couple of times and allowed the skate to expand and come off. It could use a lock washer to keep it tight, With a little blade sharpening and a lock washer it's perfect for a toddlers first pair of skates. He had almost as much fun as I did.

Just received my skates, size 7 38 Euro. What the Dick ’s website doesn ’ t say is that these are C width which is wide. I have a narrow foot so that ’s not for me. I thought as I wear a size 38 in shoes the 7 would fit, but they are entirely too small and too wide. Ended up getting a size 8. 5 with B( regular) width and they fit perfect. I think the Jackson Ultima size chart( in inches and cm is extremely accurate as it showed I needed an 8. 5 and was spot on. My daughter got these skates two seasons ago. We only go skating a few times each year, but they still look brand new. They do not come sharpened, so we had them sharpened at a local ice rink this year. They are flat inside so if you have high arches or foot issues you may want inserts for them. Overall these are very sturdy and they look nice. We are happy with the quality.
