I 'm a 5' 4 '' adult woman, and my head size is 55- 56, so within the 50- 57 size. I tend to have a `` hot head, '' but the ventilation on this helmet is excellent, so my hair was n't wet after a 1- hour bike ride. It fits well, is super lightweight and comfortable, and the Roc- Loc fit system allows a perfect fit. My only scare was the Roc- Loc was fully tightened when shipped, so when I first tried it on I thought it was too small. Once we loosened it, it fit well, and then even better once tightened.

Great helmet, covers enough to protect my head( I 've had 4 concussions) yet it's not huge, I 'm a small so less is more. I really like the built- in sunglasses however it's really hard to wipe your sweat above the brow and when you blow your nose it sprays inside the lens( LOL). I 'm a triathlete so I 'm on the bike for several hours during a race and it's nice to be able to do those things. Looking forward to my next race where I can get used to it more but I definitely feel well protected in it which is the whole point.

This is my fourth Forefront helmet. They fit perfectly never get too hot and are light and durable. The only parts that are subject to wear and tear are the pads. They do a great job of resisting sweat but eventually after drenching them a few hundred times they succumb.( I am amazed at how long they last given what ’s tossed at them, but wish I could buy replacements.

I purchased the Smith Dispatch helmet for my 11- year- old son to wear while riding his e- bike. He recently crashed, and I truly believe this helmet saved him from a traumatic brain injury or worse. His face and body took the majority of the impact, resulting in road rash, stitches, and a broken tooth, but his head was completely unscathed. This review is for anyone with a large and round head. If you are looking for a round fit helmet this is it. My head is 64cm and this helmet in XL was a perfect fit for me. The helmet did n't pinch the sides of my head. Hope this helps anyone who's looking for a round fit helmet. I think this helmet definitely runs a little bigger than stated.

I have an 8 year old with the head size of a 4 year old!( Yes, she ’s tiny all around, not just her head, lol). We have had to get her toddler helmets and they just don ’ t feel safe enough to me. Found this one today and it fit sooooo well( using the adjust knob) and the strap is easy enough for her to adjust, open and close. Definitely the best helmet so far!
