Got this size as it's big enough for our family of 5 but small enough to fit on our modest sized deck. When we need space on the deck, folding the shelves makes it a lot smaller and compact, I 've even stored it in our shed collapsing the legs down so it lays flat. The condiment try and wind guards are a nice touch. I did n't even realize I 'd need wind guards but they do help.

I bought this for my Woodwind and used it with my Deluxe Grill Box that I already had for my 2 burner stove. I was able to make amazing burgers for my wife and they even had nice sear marks. I really liked the idea of the sear box, but after using this you can get better results and you have way more versatility. The Grill Box accessory will act as a sear box, the Side Kick has a larger burner and using the thermometer on the grill box gives you more control over your cooking. Add the Artisan Outdoor Oven and you have outfitted your Woodwind to the greatest outdoor cooking potential on the market. I have a very nice wood- fired pizza oven, but I do n't always want to fire it up just to do a few pizzas. The included griddle is of course Camp Chef quality and rounds off the package making the picture complete. Being a retired chef and former contractor, I only buy the very best and this set up is clearly it. I bought this 2 years ago to compliment my 2 burner explorer. It is used exclusively for camping and I prefer this over cooking in the travel trailer. Cooking bacon, eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns or anything else I want to throw at this griddle has been a joy to cook. It heats evenly and holds the heat well due to the thickness of the metal. I do keep it seasoned with the Camp Chef cast iron conditioner and store it in a bag while not in use.

The handle mechanism on the side is built so strong. We haven ’ t gone camping with this yet, as it is cold out now here in WI but we tested it on the stove- made some eggs. Then we tried a steak on the traeger grill and not only did it turn out amazing but my husband was so impressed by the removable handle! He said it was flawless with coming off and putting back on.
