The zippers are special. It has 2 layers. One is a normal zipper, and the other is like a ziplock. when we pull the zipper we actually zip 2 zippers at the same time. That's cool but it's a little hard to pull. Maybe because it's new. Hope it gets smoother after using it more often.

We live on a lake and near the beach a small like to go to the springs. Took this to the springs and the dry pocket keeps your phone and keys dry, our food and drinks stayed cold and the ice kept the entire day. It also floats, so when floating down the river, you can literally just strap this to the raft and it ’ ll float, so much easier than having to rent another raft and hope your cooler doesn ’ t fall off it. This cooler really has everything I was looking for in a performance cooler. The insulation is great. It has secure closing tabs. It has a drain plug. It has a bottle opener. It is a little on the heavy side but all of the good in this cooler can not happen without some weight. Having said that, this cooler is much lighter than many of its competitors. Some folks dig on coolers not keeping cool as long as advertised. It is important to realize that if you put ice/drinks/food in a warm cooler you are bound to have some initial melting just to bring the temperature down. Add some ice prior to using the cooler and it will last really well. No question it's a great deal for what you get.

I like the Trailmate 25. It is big but not bulky or too heavy like some coolers in this size range. It has a metal handle with a nice rubberized grip on it. While similar to other models Igloo offers, this cooler has a seal in the lid, improved rubber latches, drain plug, and heavy duty hinges on the back. It is made in USA which I appreciate and is very solid. Not sure how many total days it can retain ice, since I only use for weekend use. I hope this lasts me many years. Overall I would recommend this cooler. Minor issues that could be improved: 1. I would like the handle to `` lock '' in the upright position to reduce the cooler from swaying side to side while carrying it. 2. The notches where the rubber latches secure are hollow underneath. This allows the latches to scrape/scuff the plastic edges which could possibly wear down overtime. 3. The drain plug could be a tad lower in the cooler so it does n't have to be tipped to drain the last remaining water. 4. I added no- skid furniture pads to the bottom to reduce scratches and scuffs and increase grip for transportation.

The real test for this will be in the summer here in Arizona, but so far its an amazing cooler, definitely lasts longer than my tundra haul. 5 days with original ice and its solid as a rock. The really cool thing that yeti does n't mention is it comes with a cover with the sides cut open to allow use of the handles for transport and protecting the metal finish! I wish they made covers for their tundras so it would help keep the sun off.

I have a tundra haul,( 2) 45s, and a 35. But I had to pull the trigger on this sexy piece of engineering design. It ’s definitely going to be my stay at home cooler for patio and get togethers. I attached photos next to a tundra 45. The thinner walls definitely help out a lot to reduce cooler overall size yet gain area inside. [ Wow!! What a durable and functional cooler. The sleek exterior look is desirable and neutral. The durability of this cooler is high- end. I recieved the 36 can cooler and i was able to fit 24 cans plus ice. We have had a mild winter where i live so i decided to fill this cooler and test it by setting it outside for 5 days. I checked on it everyday. Day 2 still had ALL ice. Day 3 it started to melt. By day 5 all ice was melted but drinks were still ICE COLD. The magnetic lid creates an insulation like no other. I believe that is the feature that kept my drinks cold for so long. The zippers well, they are tough to open however it really seals out the warm air so i can live with it. The thing that makes the zipper so difficult is that it is outlined in silicone/rubber for a tight seal so it does serve a purpose. The front pouch is perfect size for plates& cutlery. I also love the thoughtfulness of adding a bottle opener. Overall, i think this is a great cooler and i cant wait to see how it works while outside, camping in the hot summers. I would recommend.

[ I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product, the outside is a semi hard case it has one pocket in front and on the side there is a bottle opener attached, it comes with a long strap for carrying. The zipper is a little bit hard to open at first but once I put on the lubricant that came with it it ’s a lot easier to open. I like that the lid is magnetic incase you accidentally leave the lid unzipped at least the magnet will keep the cooler closed. I put ice in this cooler at 8am and a whole 24 hours later the ice was a little melted but there was still plenty of ice left! [ This cooler has it all! I can ’ t find one flaw with the design. I did think I was getting a backpack cooler based on the photo, but this is a shoulder strap cooler which works great! Pros:- waterproof zipper: I put water in this thing, shook it all around, laid it on its side and upside down and no leaks!- magnetic top: when you are using the cooler at your destination, no need to sip it back up every time. My sister and her husband have a Tundra110 on their boat. Not only did it hold ice for several days, it provided a place to sit- even in 3'- 4' waves while moving across a lake at 50+ mph. We ’ ve had our 110 for half the summer and it has surpassed my skeptical expectations. After using it for a couple back to back weekends on the Colorado River above Moab in 100+ degree heat I ’ m a believer. What ’s really made an impact is that after sitting in a raft all weekend and then a few more days in the sun of our driveway, there is still ice! Regarding strength, some friends of ours have a Tundra 125 that floated away after high siding a rock on the Dolores River above the Pumphouse take out this spring. Their cooler was found by another party over 5 miles downstream after passing through the notorious Snaggletooth rapids and multiple class 3 sections of river. The cooler had one character adding gouge but was otherwise unscathed.

The ice stays cold, I did the first test by tossing a sacrificial bag of ice in the cooler to pre- chill it but that ice only melted about 3/4 cup so had a spare bag of ice just lying around. The tips are perfect as well for loading. I only wish the cooler dividers had a few more options, namely a 3/4 divider widthwise instead of only splitting it 50/50.

We keep two YETI Tundra 65 coolers on the porch full of refreshments, both alcoholic and non- alcoholic. We regularly host `` Pop Up Porch Parties '', or as I like to call them, `` PUPPS ''. Before we bought the YETIs we went through a ridiculous amount of ice. Now ice lasts three of four days, even during the hottest days of the years. We also have been involved in animal rescue for twenty years. In June I completed my third long mission of the year transporting dogs to new homes. Since I 'm transporting dogs across many states, I use bottled water so that their stomachs wo n't be upset by multiple sources. This involves loading a case of water into a Yeti Tundra 65 and heading on my way. At the end of a six- day trip there was still ice, and the water was still cold. YETI is the best. I bought one a year ago but had to get another in Camo pattern. Would not buy any other brand. Yeti keeps the cool and built for the rugged terrain. I 've never had any issue with a Yeti.

[ 316 COOLER 65QT WHL looks so beautiful, easy to pull and eye catching. I love the size, shape and color and it does really do its job very well. The fact that it has wheels is a plus for me because, it makes moving it very easy. The quality is great and the inside is fully insulated. We used this for my daughter ’s birthday and the drinks& ice left inside was still chilled even after 3 days. We had 80 cans of drinks, and they all fitted inside with little space left. It does have a drainage inside for easy draining of water or fluid. It ’s easy to open, and it does have a feature on both side for carrying or you can use the trolley. I love it because its very effective and I will recommend it.

[ Was pleased to get this great Coleman- SPORTFLEX 42 can. Soft Cooler with Wheels, in time to use to a 4th July BBQ. I was able to fit in our drinks as well as meat, a dessert& a salad! Very handy having the wheels to transport to car as with it full was rather heavy, easy to maneuver using the telescopic handle. The easy access hatch is great to get a drink out, without opening the whole lid& letting out the cold. Another plus is the storage pockets on the sides for personal items- napkins etc. This cooler is light weight, has high quality zipper& easy to wipe clean.
