[ This rope is great for rappelling. It runs threw belay devices like a Grgi and atc well also, ties knots well. Its a bit stiff but I like that in a static rope.

[ Got this rope specifically for ice climbing in Lake City. It worked out perfectly! Without it it would have been a challenge to get the master point over the edge. The rope was easy to tie and untie knots in and was a good width to handle. I 'd highly recommend this rope.

[ I 've got both the long and shorter version of the Equalizer and find them to be ideal anchors. They 're fast, durable, and the sewn loops give you added flexibility without adding extra knots. Tucking into their own pouch to stay out of the way is a bonus.

[ I carry two of these at 15ft length. Easily equalizes 3 point trad anchors. If one piece is to far away add a runner. Considerably more compact then cordalette. Follower wraps it around their hand and stuffs it away. If used as top rope anchor and weighted just add a beiner in the overhand to untie with ease.

[ The MSR Blizzard Stakes are lightweight, easy to use, easy to pack, great stakes! They fit in my Mountain Hardwear stake bag, but are a little too long for my Northface stake bag( I searched for a stake bag for them specifically without luck and wound up sewing one.) [ There are lighter or more easily adjustable systems out there, but it's hard to beat the pure versatility and utility of the classic PAS. My only complaint is that I wish they offered a version that was one link shorter, as I rarely ever use the last link and it just ends up in the way. I suppose a good set of scissors could fix that problem though.

[ Used this item fresh out of box for a long multipitch route in red rocks. Used on the multipitch rappelling … 8 of them in a row! All hanging belays. This worked well. Very lightweight. I think with more use it will get even more supple and easier to handle.
