[ I have been wearing Vasque coldspark a for 6 years but they have not been so waterproof last winter maybe it ’s due to a tear I don ’ t know. I was looking for the same pair to replace these and I did but also bought the Breeze. I must tell You they are the most comfortable hiking boots I ’ ve ever worn. My feet are cushioned and they never hurt after a long strenuous hike where the others left my feet screaming after only a few miles. The breeze are super lightweight too! I will never wear another brand. Vasques will never disappoint in my Opinion. I am a size 7 and Unlike my last Vasques which were a a size 8 I bought a 7. 5 and don ’ t need to wear heavy socks. I sincerely hope that Vasque does n't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I 've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I 've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both( although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please!:)

I bought these for a photography trip to Iceland. As with all my Vasque boots, they fit right out of the box. I hiked on rocky hills and through streams and wet sand beaches and they were a dream. Fully waterproof and comfortable after 12 hour days. Loved they were so much lighter than other hiking boots. Tread on bottom gave sure footing on wet rocks. I couldn ’ t have asked for more!

[ I 've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the `` strange arch support '' mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal( not sure how to best explain this(:) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this does n't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!

They are super durable and held up well on a rafting trip through the Yukon, British Columbia, and Alaska. I ’ ve had two pairs of the previous version of this shoe, and I was absolutely obsessed with them. I honestly thought nothing could compare, but I was wrong. The Norvan 4s are just as comfortable—if not more so—than the 3s. The only slight downside is that they feel a little tighter than the previous version, so I did have to size up, but it ’s a minor issue compared to the overall performance and comfort. Highly recommend!

A great shoe for full support and all terrains. I enjoy using this as a sturdy walking shoe and also a short distance trail run shoe- short distance being a personal preference. I ’ ve had a few pairs of Norvan shoes in the past that I really liked, but this new update is the best. I unfortunately don ’ t live near much off road terrain and end up using these a lot on pavement, but even for pavement, they ’ re quick, durable, and adapt well to road conditions. They ’ re also pretty grippy in snow and icy conditions. The shoe laces are a bit slick, but there ’s a little pocket on the tongue of the shoe where you can tuck the laces to keep them tied and out of the way. One of the best aspects of these shoes is how washable they are. I have a light pair that I get pretty muddy and they clean right up with a run through the washer.

All I did was work some boot dressing into the INSIDE of the top of the boot shaft( the leather area), right where it meets( and rubs against) the tongue.( In other words, inside the boot, just opposite the very top lace anchor.) WALA- no more squeak!

These are my first norvan's and they 're running pretty great out of the box. I 've put quite a few kms on this on some crunchy terrain around Banff and throughout the river valley up in Edmonton. The drop is great and not too aggressive and I find it supportive for the running I do. I 'm normally a 9US, 42EU and I found that I was tossing up between the 8. 5US. I would recommend playing with the sizes as I feel I would n't hit it right on the spot with my normal US 9. What I really like is the sole- it's super grippy on the snow and rough ice- compared to the sole on the vertex alpine last year. It has given me a lot more confidence to do my spring and winter runs this year.

Overall so far these shoes have been great. The couple times I 've been outside in the rain they 've kept my feet dry. I find that they have a bit of a narrow fit, so I do feel that they 're a bit tight on the sides. However the support in the sole of the shoe is nice and comfortable.

[ When you find a pair that fits you as if it was made for you. You stick with them. Usually, brands tweak things over the years so when you need a new paired, you ’ re screwed! These are a classic. The first pair I bought myself in 2014, side by side with their replacement that just arrived today. Pulled them out of the box and it was like meeting an old friend that hasn ’ t changed a bit. The fit and feel, perfection. Now, I literally hiked the soles off of the old pair. The toes cracked. Laces frayed but original. Should I have replaced them awhile ago- I did with the charcoal version. But kept these in my closet as a remembrance of my first pair of hikers that took me through the PCT AT. My Vásque hiking boots died in the middle of last winter. They were thick leather with Thinsulate. I found these at a sports store. The Gortex works almost as well as the Thinsulate in keeping my feet warm with its reflective properties. Roomy toe box, comfortable step through, grippy tread, good lacing, and darn good looking. This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. Excellent boots for summer to fall hiking that will last.

I have been hiking in Lone Peaks, buy they were not providing the cushion that I needed. I tried the Olympus, but they run small and ended up losing the skin and nail off one of my toes. I recently completed a 300 mile section hike of the AT and also did about 50 trail miles in the shoes to prep. I went across a lot of rock surfaces in NJ, NY, CT, and MA. I recently trekked EBC in a pair of them and would like to share my thoughts. First impressions: Light weight. Easy to put on and take off. The Footshape is there. The outsole worked well- I only slipped a few times on extremely loose dirt while descending, but never fell. The infamous ankle rubbing from the stitching is also there, but only when I was trying on with thin socks, so thick pairs of socks are highly recommended. Aesthetic wise, like many here mentioned, the leather parts are black, but the fabric parts are reflective that they appear a bit brownish grey and some parts in dark navy in certain lighting condition. Overall, they worked well and got me through the trek just fine.

[ I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10. 5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which does n't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad.. for lack of a better term.. lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So do n't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal follower and buyer of Salomon boots for as long as I can remember. For at least the past ten years, I have worn them every single day. I replace my boots annually—not because they wear out or break down, but simply because I love the feel of new boots. In fact, I still have all of my previous pairs, except my very first ones( which I should have kept as well). Each pair continues to serve me in different ways. When I first purchase a new pair, they become my work boots, while the older ones transition into hiking boots, allowing them time to break in naturally. After about six months, I begin using the newer boots for hiking, always carrying an extra pair in my pack in case I need to swap them out—usually due to an issue like water getting inside. Let me emphasize that under normal conditions, these boots do not get wet inside. However, if fully submerged underwater—which I have done on several occasions—they will absorb moisture. When this happens, I hang the wet boot on the outside of my pack to dry while I continue my journey. I can confidently say that Salomon makes outstanding boots. They have been an essential part of my adventures, and I highly recommend them. Great boots, great company, and great experiences with Salomon!

[ So far I have hiked with these shoes a little over 20mi. I hiked Mount Monadnock two days each day around 10mi. They are very lightweight while being pretty supportive. I definitely felt confident using these shoes on the Spellman, Pompelly,& Marlboro Trails. Spellman being the steepest trail on the mountain, I had no problem climbing off trail on the steep granite slabs. I was able to use the flat toe part of the boot to to support myself while standing on small cracks in the rock like I was wearing a climbing shoe. It was awesome! I felt like a kid at the playground! Terrain was mostly dry, but there were a couple wet spots that the Megagrip sole did perform well on. Temperature was in the low 70 ’ sF. The only negative I have about the boot, is that it does not breathe well. My feet did sweat considerably wearing a lightweight synthetic sock. Both days I took my shoes and socks off at the summit and removed the Ortholite insoles to dry for a half hour in the sun and wind. The inside of the boots didn ’ t fully dry out. The Ortholight insole mostly dried, because they are very thin. Inersoles could be a little thicker to provide more cushioning, but overall my feet felt good at the end of both hikes. These are aggressive trails for breaking in new shoes, but they felt pretty good out of the box, so I went for it. I think these boots will be best for shoulder season hikes and hikes taking you above tree line. Can ’ t wait to take them to Mount Washington NH!

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

This is my forth pair of these shoes. I wear them every day( whether I 'm going hiking or going to work) and they me last 4- 5 years. I like them because they 're very comfortable and the GORE- TEX keeps my feet dry. They also get a great grip on the trail and protect my feet from all manner of trail hazards. On the negative side, the sole separates from the shoe after a few years. It ’s possible to glue the sole back on, but for what these cost, the soles shouldn ’ t come unglued.

Straight out of the box, I knew I was in love. They are rugged, lightweight, and good- looking. The first outing was on a very uneven rocky beach and they preformed beautifully. I purchased the wide and glad I did.

First, I ’ d like to share how amazing Vasque ’s customer service is. I initially purchased a differed boot that wasn ’ t hardy enough for the type of hiking I do- Vasque allowed me to return the boot immediately! So instead of going back to the brand I was with before( Scarpa) I decided to stick with Vasque and purchased this boot with my refund money. I am so glad I did. These boots really hold up with all the things the white mtns throw at you with little break in needed. I did need to loosely lace the boots and insert a toe box stretcher for my own needs but the boot has now confirmed to my foot. I fully submerged both feet by mistake several times. My feet were kept dry and warm. I felt my ankles were supported and my boots got more comfortable as my hike went on. I think I used the first 10 miles of the boot to break it in- and I just completed a 20 mile, 4 4000k peak hike in the whites. Zero blisters or hot points on my feet. Thank you vasque!!!

I bought these boots a month or two ago and honestly, I ’ ve been spoiled. No other shoe will do lol. I have hypermobile joints, arthritis in my feet, bunions, and roll my ankles a lot; I ’ ve been on the hunt for the perfect shoe for years so that I could not be in pain every time I walk and this is it! Fantastic arch support( especially with a memory foam Redwing insole), great ankle support( no more rolling ankles), and the fit and construction are perfect. Very little breaking in, just squeaky for a bit. Absolutely recommend for people with delicate feet or folks who need a lot of support! I can work on my feet all day and not feel any pain. Thank you Vasque, I ’ ll be back for more ❤️❤️ ALSO I was bar hopping in the pouring rain( do not recommend) and I was totally soaked except for my feet. 100% waterproof so far!!

Sometimes you want a lighter, thinner glove that makes it easier to manipulate things in your pack, pull skins, dig pits, etc. Other days you want a glove that keeps you warm and dry when it ’s dumping and windy on the chairlift. These are those gloves. The inner liner can be pulled out to dry faster, and the long gauntlet shell keeps rain and snow where it ’s supposed to be. I supplemented the included Nikwax for better coverage and seam sealing. So far these are my favorite in- bounds gloves in years, better than the Hestras and Kincos I have used in the past.

These gloves were used on an expedition cruise to Antarctica where I did zodiac rides and hiking. They kept my hands warm in sub- freezing temps, no issue! They are bulky so you loose some dexterity, but that ’s just how it ’s going to be with these gloves. It was nice to be able to remove the GorTex outer and use the inner glove on more temperate days. Would recommend to anyone who needs a solid cold weather glove.

I got several pair of these gloves for snowboarding/skiing. They are very warm with they liners. We have only used them on days were the temps were in the 20's and we did n't need the liners. They are dry and I love the features such as the tethers and cuff cinch. They are bulky with the liners and tend to run a bit large. My 16 year old son wears the small and I can fit the medium. Overall they are a fantastic glove at a very good price.

[ I bought a pair Korkers Polar Vortex 1200g boots after my kids talked me into. They ate like mini furnaces on your feet. They are crazy waterproof. If you have skinny chicken legs like I do, an extra pair of socks maybe needed. The Boa system is sick!! It takes seconds to `` tie ``. Love these boots!!! After spending countless hours out on ice, in snow, watery slush. Feet stayed dry and warm.

[ I bought these for ice fishing. I needed a boot to be super warm& waterproof. Something that will still feel warm at 50mph and subzero air. These totally fit the bill. Very comfortable. The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front. When you want `` out '' you pull the button out and the tongue loosens right up. Very convenient. I would recommend this boot for mostly active activities. I 'd to walk miles in them they are so comfortable, they also feel very sturdy and supportive which you 'd want in an ice fishing boot.

[ Spent quite a bit of time outside in the Xmas storm especially after the temps plunged and my feet stayed super warm and comfortable. I especially love the Boa lace system, makes it so easy to put on and take off. They are going to be excellent winter boots.

The Outdoor research Rocky gaiters are amazing. I 've used them in downpours, snow, mud, everywhere. They are amazing for keeping the elements and insects out. Here in Tennessee there are lots of underbrush you 'll come across that tears up clothing or leaves you covered in ticks. These gaiters do an amazing job protecting your legs and keeping you warm in the winter. I will say, they are not the most breathable during the summer but that is to be expected. All in all buy them and you will not be disappointed!

They fit well, keep my boots and socks dry while out on SAR missions. Edit: I have been using them for a while now and they are still going strong. I have used them in wet weather and they 've worked well including keeping my socks dry on stream crossings. I have also used them during snow sports and they 've been great. I went hunting with my brother in Idaho where he was living and was unprepared for the weather! Lucky for me my brother had these amazing gaitors! they saved my feet on a multiday upland hunting adventure. We hiked 30+ miles in snowy conditions, and not good dry snow but that wet nasty snow. Day one my boots were soaked through and without these gators, I do n't know if I would have been able to keep going for the full week long trip. Great product at a great price!

The OR gaitors are great. Velcro front closure, boot lace hook to keep them secure from riding up, and easy rubber strap that secures under the sole of the boot. Plenty tall enough too. Would definitely recommend... Beginner or expert, anyone would find these useful!

[ The jacket is actually two jackets which was perfect for a recent trip with variable weather. Inside jacket unzips easily and is lightweight but warm. Outside has 3 GREAT pockets that are deep and zip. Outside is also a better raincoat than most.
