I got this bag in black. The DSG Ultimate backpack 4. 0 is a very useful and functional bag, and it is light without any items in it. There are big and small pockets inside and outside of the backpack. I can easily fit in my 13 ” MacBook Pro in the laptop slot. It won ’ t be a problem to fit in a 15 ” MacBook too. Both sides of the backpack have the water bottle slot as compared to others that usually have one. There is a small compartment on the outside upper backpack that is lined and padded, can be used to put mobile phone. The straps of the backpack are padded for comfortability on the shoulders. Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

As the title says, it works great as a work backpack. It ’s very sleek, professional, and not too big. If you ’ re looking for an everyday backpack for work this is it. The backpack has one big pocket that opens at a decent angle to get things in and out of, but not all the way. Has a zipper on the back large enough to fit a work laptop as well. The water bottle compartment is zipped to the side when not in use. It is large enough to hold a 32oz water bottle. Outside of that, I ’ m not sure what this backpack could be used for due to its size and lack of multiple compartments. For reference, I carry my work computer in the back compartment. In the main compartment I carry my laptop/electronics sleeve, gym clothes, a shaker bottle, and my iPad Pro in the interior pocket. That ’s about all that fits. You can squeeze a light jacket in there as well. This backpack is very niche and does what it is made for. If you ’ re expecting anything more, get another one of their backpacks. I really like it for its use and would recommend.

Had this a couple of months and just took my first trip. I bought a pair of ski boots and checked them with my luggage. On my return trip I was worried they would get banged up so a light bulb went off. Could I possibly fit two huge size twelve ski boots in my Peak design. Holy crap. They fit like a glove. I also bought the sling bag which I carry in the bag and use as a day pack, it takes up zero room in the bag. Oh and I am still finding little compartments I did n't know where there. [ I did n't really start appreciating this backpack until I started to use it more. At first glance, it does n't seem that special, but once you really dig in, load up your stuff, test out the comfort, and then see how nice it stays, you 'll realize that High Sierra is trying to improve on a good product. All these little details add up to a compelling product that I 'm willing to pay extra for. I do n't think I 'll need a new backpack for a while since this pack is built pretty well.
